Dr. Lowe’s receptionist and medical assistant, Maria Arriga, are unprofessional and incredibly rude. They disregarded a potentially serious medical condition to instead focus on protocol. They refused to allow me to speak with the doctor or even pass her a message on my behalf. I’m appalled.

Awesome lady! Very patient, kind, understanding and accommodating. I was sad to leave but we moved out of town. Highly recommend!

I had my first physical with her last month and I have to say compared to many other doctors I have had, she was great. First, her office staff bent over backwards to get me in quickly and were very good about calling me back promptly and were very helpful and courteous in getting me the referrals I needed. The actual office is nice, clean, spacious, and conveniently located with plenty of free parking. Dr. Lowe spent a lot of time with me, listened to all of my concerns and was extremely attentive to my needs. I had just switched over from UCSF Internal Medicine where after 7 years of having the same primary care doctor who I had NEVER met because I always got the available nurse practitioner or the resident du jour, actually sitting and speaking with my primary care for a long period of time was refreshing. I would highly recommend her!

I feel bad leaving her a negative view because she really is kind when you’re speaking to her, but actions speak far louder than words. At my most recent physical, Dr. Lowe pretended to listen to my concerns but failed to provide any concrete answers to my questions. After telling me she was going to grab me a sample of a new prescription she wanted me to try, she disappeared completely. She sent a nurse back with the medication and I was informed that the appointment was over. I’m sure she knew I wasn’t finished asking her questions and I found this very disappointing considering the fact that I spent 25 minutes sitting in a hospital gown waiting for her just to receive 20 minutes of subpar care. Do yourself a favor and choose a doctor that has more to offer than a seemingly good bedside manner, hers doesn’t go far.
