Lando

I love Lando, and have bought a ton of smart, stylish, colorful clothing here over the years, most of which I’m still wearing. I’ve gained a lot of weight in the past few years, and most of it is still wearable anyways, because of the easy fit of most of what they carry, which is wonderful. Several years on, even the most delicate-​looking items are still wearing very well, which has amazed me — and of course delighted me.
They specialize in looser, easy fit clothes and some workout gear, much of which comes from Bay Area designers, which I’ve always been particularly happy to support. Local stores, local designers, smart looks and beautiful fabrics that can often go from casual to dressy — and most of it can also be machine washed to boot? I ask you, what’s not to like?
They also carry a good number of very nice accessories, particularly scarves, which are clearly all chosen to complement the clothing very well. It’s a trap, I tell you! :-)
The employees are all very nice and extremely helpful. Occasionally they can be a bit pushy, but they do back off when asked to, and I’ve ended up with some great things I might not have noticed before because they are proactive in bringing me things they think I might like while I’m in the dressing room.
My only regret is that I no longer live in the area and they don’t sell online, so I’m out of luck, and now on the hunt for where else I can buy some of the lines they carry because they don’t fit me/​look well on me consistently enough to be able to order by phone. Next time I get to the Bay Area, though, I will be making a beeline for one of my most favorite stores anywhere.

I loved my purchase, a crushed velvet top with an asian emphasis. The staff were very
low key and I felt really helped me with what looked best on me.

I bought a beautiful blouse here which I love.

I like Lando, nice clothing sometimes and I have shopped there a number of times. The last time they over charged me on sale items. When I called them about it they said they would credit my credit card which they never did.
When I went in the store to ask about it the owner was very rude, evidently willing to lose a good customer over something trivial
.Essentially she lied to me about the refund and was rude when I inquired about it.
I’m done with Lando.
