This joint is very inconsistent. The barista ROSE who was working his morning was a nasty little gal. Don’t know if this is typical for her, but we ordered three drinks(amidst the morning rush — you know where many drinks are being ordered). She handed them back and for each said a different version of the order. When I clarified, she glared at me, said nothing, then turned and rolled her eyes. Okay, lots of entitled coffee drinkers out there, but to say drink the order incorrectly seemed either 1) passive aggressive, or 2) plain nasty. Rose if you don’t like making coffee, find another job!

Standard experience overall. Friendly people. Plenty of seating. Plenty of tables. Free wifi. Very busy, at least on a Saturday morning. The people there were working pretty hard. I had a small coffee with a shot of espresso. Nothing much to report out of the ordinary. Same yummy coffee Starbucks always delivers. I won’t hesitate to come here again, Although there are quite a few other coffee shops in the area. I chose this Starbucks because I only had my iPhone on me.

«Stinkbucks» no more! Not sure what they did but the stink is mostly gone and it’s now not nauseating to be in the shop.

I have been coming to this Starbucks since moving from San Francisco to Mill Valley 7 years ago. I am usually here between 5 – 7 times a week on my way to the City for work. One of the surprising things about this store is the large amount of turn over. It is not surprising to see a new face every week. That being said, the staff really do their best in light of how busy this store gets. As you know, this store is on the way to Muir Woods and Stinson. So, on the weekends, you will see the biker and biking crowd as well as tourists trying to find their way around. The service is not as fast as I would like but it’s always fun to see who is going to show up on any given day.

I stop by here on occasion. I’d say, average to above average for a typical starbucks. Decent amount of seating… Drinks are made promptly. Bathrooms are clean. All in all a good spot. The parking lot can be a bit of a pain sometimes.

Don’t like new format with one long communal table. Table is always dirty, floor is dirty, service is okay, people are pleasant.

Stopped by here for a quick fix before my Dipsea hike! You will meet many runners/bikers here :) One of the most contemporary Starbucks I’ve visited! Located in a very peaceful Mill Valley neighborhood!

I would rate this Starbucks No Stars due to too loud music in an already noisy place, a long line due to slow service and a real jerk of a manager today — he won’t even follow Starbucks’ corporate policies regarding customer service. It’s his way or no way. Avoid this Starbucks at all costs!

A Starbucks is a Starbucks… C’mon, how different is one from the next? Usual décor, clean bathroom, outdoor tables where I can tie my dog, overpriced coffee but it’s delicious so I keep going back.

I wish they’d try to keep the fireplace working — in the morning, the seating area is super cold and drafty. Plus the fireplace is a super nice touch. Can you also please heat my cup when I ask for coffee for here? With a cold seating area around me, my coffee quickly gets lukewarm.

A nice Starbucks with more open seating than most.

This was by far the the plainest Starbucks I have ever encountered. No décor, plain, Jane, boring… I ordered my Crème Brulee Latte(again) and got bf got the Caramel Apple Spice since he doesn’t drink coffee. Okay, I’m going to stop drinking so much Starbucks! I can’t help it, I got 3 Starbucks gift card for Christmas!

The staff at Camp Doodles spends a great time at this Starbucks(and the one in Strawberry) during the pre-camp season. The employees are so friendly and welcoming and the drinks are always tasty and hot.

I usually like this Starbucks but not when they make me late for work. The line was pretty short this morning so I expected to be in-and-out quickly. However, no such luck… my nonfat misto took about 7 – 10 minutes to make after I ordered it and all it is just coffee with hot/foamy milk on top! I also ordered the new oatmeal since I had a free coupon. I think that Starbucks should stick to coffee’s and pastries. For the $ 2.45(though mine was free) this oatmeal is not really anything special. I prefer the kinds that I microwave at home! By the time I got to the office, my oatmeal was cold and I had to reheat it in the microwave anyways… The parking lot is convenient though can be a bit hectic and the baristas are friendly though not totally efficient…

How often do those around me read my mind? Maybe my best friend does sometimes, or my staff with whom I work with sixty hours a week 361 days a year(we do have Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Fourth of July off, hence not 365), but otherwise it is a rare occurence in my life. The long line at Starbucks always phases me and kinda irks me, but have you ever thought about how if you already had your perfectly concocted annoying overdone coffee drink already in your hand that it wouldn’t be so bad to wait in that line? By the time you reached the front you’d be caffeinated, in a great mood, and ready to rock, right? Well that’s exactly what happens on many occasions at my local Starbucks conveniently located right down the street from where I work, live, and dance. Holla to that y’all. Holla. Even when there’s a new barista(is that what we call all genders of the coffee weilding espresso kings and queens of Starbucks?) they know exactly what I want. They even walk around the counter sometimes to give it to me while I’m waiting. They even ask me ahead of time if it’s just my drink they’re making or if they want me to start on my friends too, and she’s not even standing in the damn place with me. That’s friggin’ impressive if you ask me! There’s nothing like getting off a plane fresh from Vegas, completely sleep deprived with dark circles under my eyes, as my liver detoxes obviously, and my coffee is ready to drink before I’ve even remembered what planet I’m on!!! Life couldn’t get better… damn…
