Way less crowded than the first Firewood restaurant in the terminal. Pizza was not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely wasn’t horrible.

Ordered an Italian sausage pizza. I felt that tis pizza is overpriced Must be the expensive rent inside SFO terminals. Pizza is a little bit dry, light on topping and tastes bland. That’s it, no more airport foods for me.

Food decent, although limited. Difficult to find a clean table. They should have someone on duty to bus tables, as there is frequent turnover. Also, limited places to plug in devices.

I don’t think I’ve ever met a pizza I didn’t like, until now. Bland and terrible. Very long wait, staff was fine but there doesn’t seem to be a very efficient setup. If you’re strapped for time and you actually like to taste your food — pick somewhere else in the terminal.

Nice place for pizza. Beer is expensive and the $ 7.50 price turns into more than eight dollars with tax. But this about your only option in the A concourse of the international terminal. Please note! There are two of these firewood grill places, the one at the far end of the terminal is much less crowded than the one right after security. Bottom line, because of a lack of options, your best bet may be to eat before you go through security, or, just enjoy a decent pizza and an expensive beer at the far end of this terminal!

Don’t order hard liquor! Just bought a very over priced shot of bullet rye whiskey which is extremely watered down. Tastes like the restaurant is watering down their drinks… Be warned

Service is fast but the pizza was below average. The crust was dry but so were the toppings. Light on flavor.

I was flying out to Tokyo late on a Tuesday night and Firewood Grill was the only spot still open. Jason provided great service with a very friendly manner. He offered to heat up my wife’s club sandwich which was a very generous gesture. Firewood Grill has a wide selection of pre-made sandwiches and fresh-made pizzas. And a huge plus, they had milk which my son needed for the long haul… Overall this is a superb spot with great service from Jason and staff. Visit them on your next INTL trip out of SFO!

This is an amazing place to have a cold beer or a glass of wine; because of the way they make you feel welcome. Today, My phone was dead like usual. When I asked if their was a place I could plug in my phone my server, Jason, provided me his phone charger so that I could charge my phone! You tell me… who does that? I actually was shocked to fine a airport bar that went above and beyond to help me and make me feel welcome. So when you have a chance walk by all those other places that treat you like a nobody and sit at this bar and relax before your flight. If your lucky you will also meet people like Jason… who go out of their way and make you feel welcome.

This is a piece of crap pizza. Stay as far away as possible. I can’t tell which is worse, food or service.

Waiting for a flight is rarely fun unless you’re waiting at the Firewood Café! Jason worked so hard to make sure we had exactly what we needed!

The worst. They dude that took my order was the worst. I walked up said«I’ll take the Italian sausage pizza and an IPA, the 16oz.» He said«total is $ 26 something». I said«what? How is that possible.» He said«oh, did you want the small beer?» I said«yes, I said the 16oz». He then corrected it in the system. I gave him my card and he printed a receipt. I signed the receipt. He then said«please fill out the middle(tip) and bottom lines. Wow, fishing for a tip even after he tried to over charge me. So I filled it out, no tip as it was Togo, ordered at a counter.(I always tip wait staff and often times those at the counter, however dudes attitude was not deserving). I was then served a beer ¾ full and a cold pizza. Real cool buddy. I can only hope this dude gets fired.

There are times when fact is so much better than fiction. And my experience at Firewood Café, Gate A-11 is one of them. All I wanted was an egg and cheese sandwich. That’s all I wanted. I know they’re not difficult to make. I know even when they’re bad, they’re still pretty good(especially once you’re craving them like the insane person you are, but only let out when it comes to all-things-food). So, I get to my gate, and see I have two options: 1. Il Fornaio, Caffe Del Mundo 2. Firewood Café This was like a Goosebumps«choose your own adventure» that I failed. I waited in life at Café Del Mundo. At the last minute — I don’t know why — I was compelled to hop out of line and dash across to Firewood Café(where the wait was dramatically less). I order an egg and cheese, with a banana the total comes to almost $ 12. Um… ouch. And then I wait. And then I wait. And then I wait. ANDTHEN I WAIT. ANNNNNNNNNDTHEEEEEENNNNN I WAAAAAAAAAIT. About 30 minutes go by before what I think is my sandwich, gets slammed on the counter. It sits there for another 10 minutes. I would have approached them about it, but I had watch them actually yell at people before me who had tried to take food they knew was theirs. Finally, my buzzer goes off. I get my sandwich. I look inside it: there’s — I’m not kidding — one solitary quarter-sized chunk of cold egg-like substance inside. I go to say something. They tell me they’re too busy to help and I would have to wait up to another hour. So… children… the lesson here is… nope, I have nothing to offer other than DO. NOT. COME. HERE. Stay at Caffe Del Mundo or just go hungry.

My breakfast was a sad disappointment. Half the bacon was burnt while the rest was still chewy. The toast and hashbrowns were also half-burnt, and the bread was stale-tasting. The cheese was concentrated in one big oily glob in the middle of the scramble. The overall result was completely unappetizing.

I wish I could give them minus five stars. I spent almost twenty minutes waiting for a vegetables scramble and got an omelet with a very strong taste of fried meat! There was no order and people’s orders were misplaced. I had to eat fast and ran to my flight because I spent 20 min waiting for my food since they confused the orders. It also came with horribly oily bacon(wasn’t in the menu description) And very dry and tasteless potatoes. I now have a Yucky taste of fried meat in my mouth from my veggie scramble.

1 star on Unilocal!,to be clear: «Eek! Methnks not.» Food: Meh. Service: Poor. That’s how I felt during my stop here before my flight. Total chaos. Couldn’t tell who was managing, because everyone was sort of running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I felt so bad for the girl who helped me… she was truly doing the best she could, but everyone else didn’t seem to be in sync. Took 30 minutes to get a cup of soup. 30. Minutes. To get a cup of soup. Sheesh! By the time I got it, I had to run down to my gate as my flight was boarding, and eat my soup, SOUP, on the plane. Disaster.

The pizza is somehow a bit worse than the one at the Westfield. It’s overpriced thin crust pizza and tastes very mediocre; however there aren’t any other better options around. Note: the firewood grill(closer to A3) serves a different menu(burgers etc… No pizza).

Of course everything is overpriced in an airport, but as you will only have two options once checked in to dine, this is the better of the two. Piazzas and premade salads are on the menu, while beer and football keep you entertained.

I know, I know, if you eat airplane food, it should be your own fault that it’s mediocre, but what’s a girl to do? We wanted to eat at Cat Cora’s restaurant, but didn’t realize it wasn’t in the part of the International Airport that we were in, unfortunately. SERVICE. Pretty poor. Our cashier was fine, but when we later went up to ask about filling our water bottles from the tap, the man standing directly next to the tap told us to go ask a girl 15 feet from him. We did, and she walked 15 feet back to him to refill them herself. Pretty weird and lazy. THEPIES. Very expensive, and lacking in flavor. They provide you with tabasco at least, but you’ll need more than a few foil packets of the stuff to get any real taste out of the pizza. DRINKSELECTION. Not amazing, but very high in alcohol content, so I guess it depends on what you’re looking for? PRICES. Way, WAY overpriced — for 2 beers and 2 pizzas, our bill was nearly $ 50, which is outrageous. Next time, be smart, and pack your own meal(or go somewhere else!).

Tasteless food that is overpriced. $ 40 for 2 pre-made salads, 2 bottles of juice and a premade sandwich. All self-service, including the condiments for the sandwich. The Chinese chicken noodle salad was totally tasteless according to my friend who rarely complains about anything in his life. My Cobb salad had some wilted greens and only had chicken, bacon, one nonsliced egg and 3 cherry tomatoes. The turkey sandwich had meat on half the sandwich, all of the lettuce was spoiled and the pesto was a teaspoon dallop. Good thing the mayo and mustard packets were there. You bus your own tables and get to hear the escalators with the overhead speakers yelling while trying to eat. Find somewhere else to eat in SFO. Food: 2 Service: 2 Ambiance: 1
