Kelly-Moore Paint Store

I’ve been to both Sherwin Williams and Kelly Moore. There is a big difference between the selection and service they offer. Kelly Moore has a lot more color selections. At SW, I couldn’t find the color I wanted and felt like I had to settle on what they are offering. Thanks goodness I decide to visit Kelly Moore. I had 5x more to choose from and was able to find a color I’m happy with.
Service wise, at Sherwin Williams, when I asked for help, the girl just told me «whatever we have is out there on the wall.» Basically no help offered. At Kelly Moore, the guys gave me a lot of advice on color and pulled up several colors that matched my descriptions. Once I decided on the sample colors, they worked together to produce those samples so I can get out of the door faster. I really appreciate the speediness of their work as I was on a work break.
Finally, I want to note that the sample color price is $ 8 at Sherwin Williams and $ 5 at Kelly Moore. Better price, better selection, and better service, I will definitely go back to Kelly Moore in the future.

Carlos was the specialist /​cashier there. He is very patient, knowledgeable on paints, well explanation on my question and concern, and he made the store welcoming to all customers! The 5 stars of this review to this store is because of him! And my wall now is like new! I ordered the diamond white paint, and a brush.

Kelly-​Moore Millbrae beats the socks off of several other paint stores that I have been to over the years. I recently was faced with a difficult project and John Kreitzer was a HUGE help. I felt like I was at the Four Seasons — but a paint store! I presented my project, John gave me his recommendations, followed up with emails on how to best approach, and then sent a follow-​up email to find out how everything went. My commercial space floor turned out beautiful!!!
I would travel outside of San Francisco to be treated with 5 star customer service. Great job Kelly Moore Millbrae, and thanks for making me feel like my business with your team was valuable to your store!

Great customer service! I was there for over an hour having colors pout on boards. King was exceptional! Make sure you ask for him!

The staff at this store are very knowledgeable and helpful. I had trouble matching an old can of paint, and Mr. Borja went out of his way to help me. Paul also was able to match the color to the other. Great service.

Great Guys, Great Service.
It is such a nice refreshing change from going to the Home Depot paint department.
Although that are a bit more expensive but you are getting a much better quality of service.

Even after they were closed, they were kind enough to re-​open their doors to us eager-​beavers.
The staff gave us great tips from the type of TSP (trisodium phosphate) cleaner, to letting us borrow their palette deck. We’re definitely coming back here for their custom colors and attentive customer service!
