Someone needs to update photos for this place because it looks completely different now– There’s no longer an entire aisle of washers in the middle– just sorting tables with washers along the right and back wall and dryers on the left. There’s a clean new floor too — no longer any exposed pipes or broken up floors. The place is clean for the most part although someone had spilled powered soap on the floor and it was easy to slip and slide when you walked in. My only gripe is that they only have 2 top load washers now and they’re priced at $ 3 a load — same as the larger front load machines which seems weird.

Overpriced and dirty. Sudz pouring out of several machines and the tile is all ripped up in the center of the place. Dirty folding tables and garbage cans filled to the brim. Don’t think anyone cares for this place. Also the name has changed to Lola’s laundry.

My washer broke and after two attempts at getting a repair guy to actually fix it, I had to go to the laundry mat. This place isn’t clean. The tables were ok for folding clothes and the dryers were ok, but the washer’s looked like they hadn’t been wiped off in a while. The floor was dirty and the chairs were broken or dirty. Since this is a neighborhood place it looks like most people put their laundry in and then wander downtown Millbrae. I was the only person who decided to hang out and read while waiting for my laundry to finish. Unless you have something to do in downtown Millbrae, I would recommend going somewhere else. I believe there’s another laundry mat at the north end of the downtown, but across El Camino. A few more negatives… * the change machines didn’t take the new style dollar bills. * No bathroom. * Week old newspapers laying around(which gives a good idea of how often someone passes through to clean up) On the plus side… not much of a crowd, great location, stays open late, and no waiting for machines(at least when I went).

I’m glad I found this laundromat. I used to go to Mr Mrs Bubbles in Burlingame to wash my big comforters. I couldn’t find parking there, so voila Millbrae, even closer to where I live. This place is so convenient, very safe, nobody there waiting, they just leave their stuff, pick up and go. Parking is so easy. Great neighborhood. I think the owner lives behind that laundromat. Suddenly I saw a red haired woman sweeping the floor out of nowhere. She disappeared again thru the back door that connects to the house behind. You can see from the back window. She’s a little strange, but didn’t really see the face. lol. They don’t have the giant machine like Mr Bubbles has, so I can put 2 queen size comforters together. But, no problem for me. It’s kinda dated, they need to clean more, more organized, otherwise it’s great. I really like how quiet there, noones watching you with strange eyes, what do you wash, what do U do etc. I can walk down to Broadway Ave to get my dinner and come back. I LOVETHECUTENAME.

Hmmm. Washing dirty laundry in public, on Unilocal! The dirty stuff : 1) Ironic, but this place could use some scrubbing. 2) Don’t bother calling the owner even when things go wrong. Never seems to pick up the phone. 3) Wish the owner fixed the washers/driers that go bad. At the current rate, none will be working in a few months time. 4) Wish the place oustide was a bit more well-lit. The clean, good stuff: 1) The change machines seem to work most of the times. 2) The place is open till 11PM — great! 3) It is quiet — can get a lot of reading done here. 4) Parking is not a problem as a public lot is close by. 5) Safe location.
