I have nothing but good things to say about this groomer. My cat is an a$$hole, his fur is long and will mat. It is hard for any stranger to interact with him but Trini didn’t seem to have a problem. He worked with us and our difficult cat to a positive outcome. I will be a return customer!

My review is long over due, took my Great Pyrenees here about a month ago, and I’m still getting asked if I recently bathe him. He looks and smells amazing after that whole month. The service was great and got compliments from the groomers on how nice my big boy was, which always puts a smile on us dog parents. They are A+ in my books and will continue bringing my baby here.

After calling around to a few groomers in the area I soon found out that most groomers are closed on Tuesdays (WTH)? then I remembered Pampered Pets.
The young man who took my call was super helpful and fit me in same day. YAY!
When I arrived I was greeted by the same young man and the lady who groomed my dog. Both so nice and good to my lil guy.
They asked me what kind of cut I wanted and said no problem that my dog would be ready in an hour.
Hour later picked my pup looking cute as can be and my dog seemed to love the groomer too which was sweet to see since he doesn’t take too well to strangers but loved her which makes me feel good about bringing him here in the future.
Also, only paid $ 60 for my 16 lb pup for a full grooming.
Very pleased and will be back in a few weeks!

Great customer service and awesome grooming! I really recommend this family business. I came in for my first time and the owners attended me without an appointment and with kindness. Two hours later my Bichon pup was ready and well pampered. RECOMMEND!

NEVER going back here! We brought our 2 dogs to this place earlier this week and my dogs came back with anxiety and scabs on their body from a super close shave to their genital areas!
We just came back from the Vet yesterday because our dogs have not slept since we got them back and found out that one of our dogs might has a fracture on his back!
The Vet was livid as to why they shaved that close to their skin and told us that our other dog might have been dropped from a high place or his cage.
Since that day both of my dogs came back uneasy, lots of crying, and stress anxiety per the vet. What did you do to them??? after reading the other reviews which we should have done prior to bringing them, I’m not surprised as to why people have written such horrible reviews! Now we’ve paid over 500 to rectify what you’ve done. Our pets are our family, you should take better care of them since that’s what your in business for.

My parents took our new puppy we adopted to get her first haircut. Using Unilocal,this seemed like a good place to go to. I’m not going to go into detail on how much my mom disliked our puppy’s haircut because it can be subjective. However, there were many things that left us appalled. Most importantly, the groomer CUT our puppy’s skin in MULTIPLE places (including a deep, long cut in her nipple area) and did NOT notify us. We only noticed when we took her back home and saw the scab the next day. I know for a fact it wasn’t there before because we always rub her down every night before she sleeps.
Overall, I would strongly recommend my fellow Unilocalers to go elsewhere if you cherish your dog’s appearance and well-​being. I am extremely disappointed.

So worth it. I used to live close by and have Been bringing my two malteses here for years. Now that I moved far, I tried a new place and totally regret it.
I rather drive here and wait around for my girls then take them anywhere else.
They are super nice and caring. and the girls look great after they’re appointment.

Took my dog to this place back in June so I hope things have improved for them BUT:
Found this place through Unilocal and the reviews seemed great so I made an appointment. I have a long haired dachshund mix that requires a little bit more attention. But Since she’s been going to various groomers in numerous states since she was a puppy, she’s pretty use to the entire process. They didn’t ask for shot records or anything and that should have been a red flag.
Just wanted a light trim and her paws cleaned up and nails clipped. Told them not to shave her — VERY SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS. I don’t even understand why any well trained groomer would need to even be told to NOT shave off the long hair on a long haired dachshund. When I got her back, she was shaved and the nails were still to long and jagged. Boot camp haircut just like at bark and bubbles.
They called me twice to tell me they’ll need more time with her leading up to about a 5 hour wait (horrible time with the tragic results). She came home and threw up and seemed so sick. The place was SO messy and entirely unorganized. I don’t advise this place and won’t go back myself. I read that the owner has been doing this for 30yrs… Maybe it’s time for a change.

I took my dog here, and i dropped him off at 1130 am and couldn’t pick him up until 530 pm. When i picked him up, he didn’t look that great, neither did he smell any better. He wasn’t «pampered», and better yet, i find that he had a cut on him when i get home. I talk to the employee about how my pet was treated and they tell me, «maybe you shouldn’t take your dog here anymore». My dog didn’t bark or try to bite them or anything while i left him there. I also paid $ 55. REALLY RUDE SERVICE. I wish i could give a ZERO, for talking to customers like that.

I hate writing long reciews but this is a must.
First of all ask about your pet and how they serviced to them and not just about the haircut.
Don’t go here if you want your dog to be pampered. The place is called Pampered Pets and they didn’t even pamper him. LAZY.
My Shih Tzu’s fur doesn’t smell good, looks like they are cheap. His hair is uneven because they cut his hair last. He also has a CUT on his skin making some of his fur have dry blood. The owner of the store was arguing with me but I ask a simple question: Why does it take so long to cut his hair? Waited for 5 hours and no wait time given.
Asshole owner tells me «I’m doing you a favor to take him in.» I told him straightforward if you knew you guys are booked why didn’t give a time? If they been cutting hair for a Business then how can they not know per breed?
I told him you are not answering my question. Then he says its because of the matts under his chin. Come on that only takes a fast shave off, which my vet told me earlier today before we came here for his haircut.
The owner has three sons that looks like the manpower of this place could have finished already. Even more RUDE the sons butt in the conversation.
Overall, the customer is always right and he was Objecting to everything I said. Then he says «you know what I am not going to cut his hair anymore don’t come here.» I told him if you want your customers to be happy give an exact wait time.
What you will not do service to me because I asked this simple question? It looks like they always take more dogs in, let them wait in the cage for 3 – 4 hours. Haircut is like 1 – 2 hours.
I can’t even ask my questions without him overlapping me, I told him I don’t like being overtalked of with you and even his sons talking over me.
Yes I got a haircut that was decent.

Love it, love it! My Pomeranian usually hates to go for grooming. He was so happy at this place. Guys didn’t very good job on his lion cut, just the way I want it. The price is more affordable than other places, so sume room for a tip:) I am so happy eventually I found the right place here!

I’ve been here a few times. I believe now it has changed owners. They did a fantastic job making my old man cat look civilized again. They are so reasonably priced! $ 55 for a long haired mangy cat = awesome!

Let me start by paying Trini and Mina the highest compliment. They are very good at what they do, and I am extremely happy with their work. My dog continually comes back looking fantastic. They also are very good about doing everything I ask and then some. Their prices are very reasonable, and they don’t try to sell you on things you don’t need.
I would also like to touch on another point… the owner/​client relationship. There are many groomers out there, and I would imagine there is competition out there for business. Yes, it is important that my dog gets groomed well, but I also believe that a business owner should treat his/​her customers with respect and courtesy. Trini is a professional who truly understands this owner/​client dynamic. I will continue to bring my dog to Trini for as long as Pampered Pet is in business. I will also continue to recommend this place to all my friends. Unlike other places nearby whose name I will not mention, I have always received courteous and professional service from Pampered Pet. My calls have always been returned, and I have never had a problem making an appointment. In addition, when I have had to cancel at the last minute or ran late picking up my dog, I never received any static from Trini. He was always very kind and supportive… he recognizes that things happen and people do run late. I have seen signs in other shops that threaten to charge customers for running late… good way to build a loyal customer base (Yes, I’m being sarcastic). I think most of us are pretty cognizant of our responsibility to pick up our pets and, for the most part, we do strive to do so for our pets’ wellbeing. However, if we run 10 mins late, we should not be reprimanded or charged. We are not children; we are customers who pay you.
Thank you Trini and Mina for running Pampered Pets the way all businesses should be operating… good product and great customer service!

I have been taking my dog Beau here since I first got him at 11 weeks old. He is now 10 years old. He is a Bichon. This place is the best and has the best people. Trini is an experienced groomer and has worked for years with show dogs. He knows how to give a great cut and treats your pet with kindness. I have have always been very happy and so has Beau. Trini will take you when you call that day by 9:30 am. He never makes me wait. He is usally finished in a couple of hours. His wife is wonderful, too. They work together as a team. Beau and I reccommend you take your dog here and you will be happy, too!

I am very picky about where I take my Pomeranian. I have taken him to SEVERAL different groomers in the Bay Area. He always comes home sick… Kennel cough, sneezing, upset stomach. The trip to the groomers is always hard on him.
Unfortunately, most groomers don’t allow you to stick around to see what really goes on until your dog is tended to so you can only hope that things go well.
Trini (the groomer) was very patient with my dog. He did his best by being easy going with my dog in order to win him over when I dropped him off. (I’ve had groomers that are just like «Ok he should be ready by 4…» as they drag my poor dog away). Trini cared about earning my dogs trust and that gave me great peace of mind!
I came by for my dog when they said he would be ready and he looked great. Trini recommended a puppy cut for my Pom, and it suited him well! My dog looked adorable. Trini was honest and said he was very shaky and nervous during the grooming process. (Some groomers are like «Yeah he was great…» when I know that cannot be true. Trini says that the second time around Pookie will most likely be more comfortable with him, but at least the first experience was neutral which is enough for me.
I have finally found a trusted groomer for my dog who I believe he said has 30 years of experience. Pookie was groomed 3 days ago and he DID NOT come home sick :-) This was a huge relief for me. The Pampered Pet is a family owned business that I will continue to support — I saw wife also does grooming and son helps out with answering phones. My only complaint was there was dog hair on the floor that had not been swept when I came for my dog and that bothered me because they had already finished grooming all the dogs. Cleanliness is most important in this sort of business. But overall, good experience and I will continue to make the drive down to Millbrae, which is a bit of a drive for me, but my dog is worth it! Trini won us both over to say the least. ;-)
His price was $ 50 (most places have charged me $ 60+ for my 8lb Pom!) so I gave him a generous tip.

I went to Trini this Saturday after about 8 or 9 years of not coming to this groomer. WHY DID I STOP??? Good question! I brought in my shih tzu and made a last minute appt on friday afternoon and got the first appt on saturday morning! I know my shih tzu is really hard to groom especially around her face and he trimmed the hair out of her eyes perfectly! She was super matted but was no problem for him! This is an honest man who is good at what he does. Very calm personality him and his wife are good, hard working people. Try him out! Very convenient, friendly and affordable

I love this place they always pamper my Yorkie and give her the best puppy cut and teeth cleaning!!!

I have been going to Pampered Pets for years. I have always brought
them my basset hound children. Jenny, Quincy and Barney all loved going there.(all are in Doggie Heaven)
Now I take Farfal, Apples and Emma and they come home sparkling clean, smelling great with nicely clipped nails
Trini and his family are the best!

I take my 2 year old yorkie and I’m always happy with the results. The place is very afordable. It’s a husband and wife team very friendly and they always try to fit you in even if it’s at the last minute !
