Unimpressed. Came here with my family, employee forgot my whole order and half of my sister’s, then went in the back and left front counter unmanned so that we couldn’t contact anyone to remedy the problem.

Seriously? I called to order a loaf of pumpernickel bread. The incompetent woman on the phone took 2 attempts incorrectly pronouncing it, said she hasn’t heard of it and doubtingly Said she’s going to see if it’s a «new kind of bread» … Seriously??? Going somewhere else.

Yesterday I went to Panera in Millburn for the first time with my mom. Let me tell you I have a sandwhich & some kettle cooked chips & it was so good. The staff is friendly some kinda of way? My mom had a turkey chill with a piece of bread with butter so that taste good for her along with her tea. While my mom ordered the food this staff member at Panera said to her«Would you like a bagel to go with that?» & she was saying«Nope not today?» also that Panera coffee taste so strong I don’t like it myself though?

Never had a problem with the food. The staff are nice and funny. I rather go to the one on Morris then the one on 22

good salads. 2 out of 3 times my rapid pick up order has been wrong. also, take out salads are much smaller than what is served in the café.

The food is really tasty, but the atmosphere is grimy and the staff isn’t really that friendly. However, that’s really not my main complaint. What really peeves me is the fact that managers are supposed to sign off on rapid-pick-up orders, yet every single time I order i wind up getting the wrong thing or something is missing ! When I order a sesame chicken salad or a bbq chicken salad, I kinda expect there to be somekinda poultry in there! Order avacado –? Its not cheap, and SHOULDBEINTHESALAD. As a customer service manager, we go above & beyond at our store to make sure people come back to us. All I get from panera is a free dessert and a horrible apology. No one fixed the situation. Instead they try to literally sugar-coat it and I’m not a huge fan of their desserts to begin with . All in all, this place has officially lost a 5 year customer over incompetence and I hope you guys decide to try the one on rt 22 in Springfield instead. I’m sorry Panera. It’s not me, it’s you.

Not too clean at this Panera — floors are very dirty, and tables aren’t fully cleaned off. Came here on a quick stop for a lunch with my wife — was in the mood for a nice French Onion and salad. The service here wasn’t special — just okay. They took our order and didn’t mess it up — nice. My Asian salad wasn’t that good, but the French Onion Soup saved the day for this 2⁄5. The salad was very dry, didn’t have much dressing on it, and was pretty flavorless. Don’t really know what more to say(and don’t wanna say more to MAKE it a long review) but I’ve been to many better Panera locations(Route 22 for sure).

This place is dirty, no matter whT time you go in. The coffee machines are gross. The cream and milk containers have thick residue on them. It’s a shame.

I have been coming here once a week for the past year or so. Service had always been ok, and food pretty good. Today, the place was really, really dirty, with all kinds of food on the floor of the food prep area. Really gross.

The Fuji apple salad was dynamite. I was a little surprised to see freeze-dried apples in the salad. Freeze dried apples really delivered a nice crunch. Anyway, The rest of the salad consisted of Gorgonzola cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and tasty Pecans. This is the salad that can be served all year round. Salad was $ 5.79. A great deal in my opinion. You can choose from a free bag of potato chips or an apple on the side. Since I was eating so healthy, I decided on the potato chips. LOL. The customer service was very friendly and efficient.

I had to meet someone here. Sometime you just want a cuppa and something to nosh. At this Panero I had the total experience. First to the rest room to wash my hands. Littered with wadded up paper towels, a two foot strip of toilet paper and two cig butts. Walking to the counter I saw several tables with crumbs and other remnants of diners. This was at 238 pm. I ordered a blueberry scone and a coffee. Just under five bucks. Went outside to what is supposed to be an outdoor café ala France, I suppose. Three tables. All tables had debris on them. Crumbs, sticky stuff and paper. I selected the cleanest and driest and after brushing off the crumbs I sat down to wait for the person I was to meet. Within an 8 ft radius of my table were 11 pieces of paper, three cig butts, and two semi wet and sticky looking stains on the pavement. The coffee tasted good and was hot the way I like it. The scone was fair until the third piece or bite. It had a wad of dark hair in it. I have white hair because I am old. Hairs not a hair. In my mouth. Yech! I brought this to the attention of the counter person who said, «sorry» and walked away todo something behind the counter that allegedly more important than my mouthful of hair. I waited for my party, and left vowing never to visit a Panero again. Anywhere!

Wow, this location is reviled on Unilocal!Grabbed a pick 2 –Turkey Avocado BLT and Greek salad. Food ready in a couple of minutes. Sandwich was good; I like to take some onions for the G salad and add to the sandwich. It needs the punch of onion. Salad was fresh, but too much dressing ladled on it. But I ate it.

This is THEWORST Panera I’ve ever been to. It didn’t seem clean. It was slow and disorganized. The woman that rang me up and handled my cash proceeded to immediately prepare my food without any gloves! YUCK! When I ordered my bagel, I wasn’t asked if I wanted it sliced or toasted. I didn’t know that was an option! My cream cheese packet was ONEDAYAWAY from EXPIRING, and it was a very strange color and taste. Lastly, there’s just one unisex bathroom. And it has an explosive sink that splashes everywhere. Gawd, I wish I got my money and time back. This place sucks.

The line in this place at lunchtime is not to be believed. I am not a Panera fan. It’s a compromise– you go because that’s where your friend wants to go or because its close and you are hungry. I almost never want to go to Panera. I think the coffee is kinda gross. The baked goods are meh. The salads and sandwiches are expensive. Everything is salty. The people who work there can be nice but mostly they just seem to be getting by. It’s not a great place but if you need to eat on the go its ok, and they have some healthy options.

Typical Panera food. This place is really dirty and the employees really show it on their faces that they don’t want to be there.

Food is fine, like other Panera franchise locations, but seriously lacks in quality customer service and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a hit-and-run-to-go-order-spot-when-in-a-pinch place at best. If you are in this area, you would be better off eating at a local deli.

This Panera is very dirty and not kept clean at all! My mother was disgusted after she ate there and THEN saw the bathroom! This seems to be a unamimous opinion among most of the reviews. That is why I am only giving one star. Food establishments should not be dirty! I wonder if the health inspector has been there lately. In addition to the cleanliess issue, most of the employees can’t be bothered to be nice or helpful. The only positive about this place is the convenient location and decent parking.

This is my closest Panera. Always able to get a parking spot here on the weekend. The breakfast sandwiches and coffee are my main draw here. The service is usually good and sometimes excellent. I also come in to get their breads which are surprisingly good. I’ve seen other reviewers complain about the service and cleanliness but I guess I have been lucky. Just popped in for a loaf of bread and some bagels. No problems this Sunday for me.

Panera is like the food equivalent of all the boring, vanilla offices in this area and the workers who come for lunch. Getting here during lunchtime traffic is brutal and you basically have to cut off two lanes of traffic and hope no one kills you to turn into the parking lot. Then you wait in a long line for disinterested staff to get your boring, messily thrown together food. Try not to get grossed out by how dirty the place is. A sad testament to the lunch options in the area that its always packed.

Have to join other reviewers of this Panera location in calling it mediocre at best. This is really a 2.5 star place. Have seen it go downhill over the years in terms of staff competence and turnover. They need to empty the trash more often. They need to listen when customers order. You know, make it seem like they care that we choose to spend our discretionary income THERE instead of another sandwich and soup mill. The food is still pretty good, but come on. For these prices, a little service may fairly be expected. Favorites here are the Thai chicken and orchard harvest salads(the latter is seasonal), the broccoli cheddar soup and the asiago roast beef sandwich. Their whole grain baguettes and asiago bread are quite good. The free wi-fi is nice, though. and It actually works.
