Solid Italian made with care. Attentive ownership on site. Sauce like from your mom’s kitchen. That’s if your mom can cook sauce of course. Try the eggplant parm. Delish. Possibly best Italian in the area.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time and just never got the chance. Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to Peter’s for lunch. I can kick myself for not getting there sooner. Everyone was so friendly and the food was delicious! I can’t wait to secure reservations and bring a nice bottle of wine for dinner in the near future.

A small, narrow place but food was really good in addition to a superb service. I love my grilled artichoke for appetizer… and grilled salmon for my entrée. It’s BYOB! The food is on the expensive side compared to other good Italian place. We did not try their dessert, seems simple so we skipped it and jumped to Rock and Joe Coffee shop beside it to relax and unwind.

Cozy and elegant atmosphere. Great service. I enjoyed the diversity of the menu, complemented by the specials. We had lobster ravioli and the brantini, which were both delicious. Definitely a date scene, so bring your bottle! I wish we had time for dessert… maybe next time.

Extremely friendly owner, he greeted me and my guests and came back to the table often to see if we needed anything. This in addition to the server. BYOB. Service is very good. The food was good, not mind blowing good. Clean, quiet. I’d come back just say hello to the owner again.

My first time and it was great for a Monday night. A nice list of specials that were awesome. I had the Branzino and my wife had the Shrimps and Scallops that were great. I need to come back to taste more…

Inspired Italian-American fare served in a snug storefront setting. Nothing over-the-top — preparation, presentation, service, décor all just enough. Do not miss the artichoke and eggplant appetizers — wow. Portions are perfect. Ricotta cheesecake is a refreshing change from that cream cheesy stuff at most places. A bit noisy, so not ideal for a first date, but a cozy spot for meeting up with friends. The staff accommodated our animated gaggle with grace and patience. Go, eat and enjoy.

This tiny BYOB Italian gem should be on the top of everyone’s list. The service is top notch. The owners father took my hand and brought me to my table. Super friendly lovely staff. The portions are enormous. Be sure to make reservations. We went on a Tuesday night and it was PACKED. The spicy shrimp is Delish. U can’t go wrong w anything u order. Enjoy!!!

Very disappointing. Baked clams had a funky burnt, bitter taste. Nothing else was better than average either.

At Peter’s, small means cozy and friendly. I love the cheese ravioli and the homemade pasta dishes but it’s the fresh fish with fresh veggies that keeps us coming back to this classy neighborhood restaurant. Oh and try the apple pie for dessert.

Excellent fresh dishes. Peter(SR&JR) really go out of their way to make sure every dish is prepared exactly the way you wanted. Service is also excellent. Only complaint is the noise level can be a bit high during busy dinners.

I stopped by Peter’s on Monday afternoon at 6pm before the town’s 5K race at 8pm. I was afraid that seating may be hard to come by for a party of one but there were no customers there at that time. I ate the Homemade Ravioli filled with Lobster meat with marinara sauce. I’ve never eaten lobster before and I thought this would be the best introduction to the food as part of the whole ensemble rather than just lobster by itself. It was quite tasty and tender as I listened to calm R&B tunes among other similar genres. The atmosphere seems homely and calm as if you only need to know anyone’s first name at Peter’s.

Small but elegantly decorated. Probably can seat 50 people at once. It can get very loud — even on a Thurs night. We got the spinach taglietelle with lump crab meat and the Sunday’s meatloaf dinner(in pasta and meatballs form). Both very good. We wiped them clean. Portion is just about right. I will definitely come back — next time to try the non pasta dishes. Maybe bring a few friends, a couple bottle of cabs and enjoy the night. The owners, Peter and parents, are all working at the restaurant mingling with customers as if we are guests in their home. Great if you are looking for a festive experience, but maybe interesting if you are looking for a romantic dinner experience.

Every meal I’ve had there has been good value for money, attentive staff, nice setting across from Taylor Park. The only drawback is the lack of reservations for small parties on weekends.

Love! Came here last night with my family and right away we knew we were in for a treat. While most restaurants or either closed or empty on Monday nights, Peter’s was bustling. at 9 pm no less! The foccaccia bread is yummy and the owners are super friendly and attentive. We sat outside and they kept coming out to check up on us. I ordered the Chicken Parm with spaghetti(delicious. not alot of pasta but just enough to get the gist. was very hungry and ended up eating only half, good sized portions). My mom got the Clams with Linguini in red sauce(you can get it hot or low heat, she surprised herself with how hot the ‘hot’ was.) and my father got the Sunday Gravy(rigatoni with meatballs and sauasage). I thought his was also VERY good. Meatballs are very… meaty? I don’t know how to describe them. They were great though. it’s BYOB so bring your own and relax for the night. Simple but flavorful italian food right off of Millburn Ave. Inside ambiance seemed very cozy and comfortable as well. Would def. recommend and come back. It’s nice to go to a small, local business where the owners are still very much a part of the daily business. The only issue we had was the busboy who kept coming and trying to take our plates while we were still eating. I understand that it was just part of good service, but it can be a little much. Still, if that’s the only problem I have at a restaurant… that’s just fine in my book!
