Horrible customer service. Time on here does not reflect the time on their window. Drove 5 miles thinking we had time. Got to the store at 9:02 and walked in. Was about to order and was told that they were closed. If they were closed, why was the door still open(We realized after that the window said 9pm) and why were there people chillin out inside? Why were we being mean mugged by the employees? The girl mopping stared us down until we got in our car and left.

If you need a cake, avoid this place… I spent hours trying to call to order a cake. When nobody answered after 20 calls, I went in person. The girl working there was not accommodating at all. The manager was out of town, and the whole ordeal was a waste of my time. I suggest you avoid the same mistake.

The cake was a disaster. The writing was awkward. They spelled birthday wrong(see picture). This is the 2nd time I had an issue with them. The first time, I specially ordered a cake a couple of months ago and never made it. I even received a confirmation. I should have learned the first time.

So let’s begin with it seemed like it was a bit of an issue that I had a nut allergy. Not from the blonde who was helping me but from the nasty brunette. They way she was carrying herself I’m assuming she was the shift lead or at least she felt she was in charge. We placed our order we got two of the three and I was patiently waiting for my nut free ice cream. While standing there one of the ice creams I had gotten the person wanted brownies pieces on her ice cream, so we asked the price. That’s ok I won’t pay 99 cents plus tax for some little brownies pieces. When the girl was almost done making my ice cream I asked her for some whipped cream on top. The nasty brunette stopped what she was doing(helping another customer) to come over and rudely tell me that in the future if I want whipped cream and brownie pieces that I will have to pay for it. I told her if that was the case then just leave it alone I didn’t want whipped cream. And she then told me well she’s already getting it for you so just leave it now. I felt that if the whipped cream I was getting was causing you that much discomfort then I don’t want it. Not to mention I didn’t even get the brownie pieces. Typically places don’t charge for whipped cream so I wasn’t assuming to have a .99 up change plus tax. With that being said they didn’t even sing when they got a tip.

I really like it here! I wasn’t expecting such a big place with a good amount of seats, so i was pleasantly surprised. About three two-seater tables by the windows in case you want a little ‘view’. Then there are two adorable half table/half booths near the freezer with the ice cream cakes/ice cream cupcakes. Lighting is dark and dim, and makes you feel as if you’re chilling in your own home with a bowl of ice cream. I think there are two bathrooms in the back. On a Saturday night/9pm, the line was pretty long, but they had three workers moving quickly, taking orders. My friend and I each got a large cup of ice cream, and the scoop of ice cream they were digging seemed huge! I was surprised, and a little appalled at the potential amount I might be eating, haha. I noticed the ice cream always gets kind of drippy by the time they give you the cup and I think it’s because they are manipulating it so much, moving it around, melting it more. I don’t really care for that. I don’t want soupy ice cream, especially given the expensive cost. It’s widely known that this stuff ain’t cheap. The workers were doing their job, but nothing especially friendly or welcoming about them. Just kids working on a busy night, and I can’t count that as a negative. Shared lot with Subways, Dominoes pizza, that new pizza place, but there’s ample parking everywhere, especially the Target across the street. Several tables for outdoor seating, which could be very pleasant. And it never gets a lot of traffic here, so it’s kind of peaceful to eat your ice cream and relax.

I tried to order a cake two days before my daughters birthday, and I was assured that it would be finished in time. I spent 20 min on the phone talking about the specifics of the cake, and I was given the option to pay for it over the phone but I did not. I called the next day, the night before the party, to ask what time I should pick it up. The lady I had spoken to said she had not baked the cake because I had not paid for it on the phone the day before. I’ve ordered from this place several times before and I have never had to pay in advance for them to bake the cake, but she insisted that it was the«policy», though I’ve never encountered this before. On top of all this she was rude and acted like it was all my fault though she had never told me that it was mandatory to pay in advance or to «call to confirm». Used to buy from this place all the time, now I have no cake for my daughter, never again.

Honestly, their prices are outrageous and the place was so crowded for no reason. I’d rather go to Baskin Robbins or Dairy Queen. The ice cream is meh, normal– nothing fantastic. A small cup of vanilla ice cream with sprinkles was 8 bucks. Are you serious? I can buy 2 gallons of ice cream with toppings for that. Very disturbing.

So since I’ve literally been here everyday of this week, I can say something has changed with their sizes(in a good way) at first I didn’t like how they gave you small cups to begin with and barely filled it up. Well, they have come around and now fill up your cups to the point its over flowing! And they should considering you’re paying a lot for ice cream! I was very happy to see this change in portion size! Also the flavors of ice cream are super delicious!

It’s a Cold Stone. What does that mean? It means tasty, yet overpriced ice cream. Why visit, when there are so many local ice cream shops in the area? It’s a great question, with just one answer: Cake Batter Shake! It’s ridiculously overpriced. It has enough calories to send you to purchase«relaxed fit» pants. And you won’t care, because it’s insanely good.

Just like any other Cold Stone. We went here with my family. And there might have been 5 of us. And I must have sampled like 5 different ice cream. And normally they get annoyed after 2 but the girls were cheery and vocal. Which you don’t normally get. Usually these are young girls who work at an ice cream parlor and have no manners. Like I always say, service can make any mediocre food amazing. And ice cream is always good when your craving it.

Okay, not a big fan. Frankly I don’t understand how this place still stays in business. Many more ice cream options in the area .See ice cream Depot in Milltown. My wife and myself went there one night for ice cream cost is $ 11 and we just had smalls. Also another time we tried their candy apples and the apples were rotten! Will not repeat!
