The ladies that work here are quick! They take your order, casually walk to the back and in under five minutes, they have your drink ready. I usually get Che #3, which includes red bean, white bean, mung bean, taro, pandan jelly, and coconut milk. Today, I got a regular ol’ thai tea with pearls. The pearls are so soft and chewy, which I don’t mind. The Thai tea tasted as good as I like them to be. Cash only!

Found metal wire in my Che Ba mau. I called and they said they would replace it for me but I almost died drinking this. Never coming back to this location

Tried their honeydew milk tea and che. really liked both. I had never had che before. For those who don’t know, it is a Vietnamese dessert with sweet coconut milk along with yummy fruits like lychee, jackfruit and baby coconut, clubbed with different kinds of jelly. It was soo refreshing. I also tried their macaroon ice cream. Not sure what the flavor of the macaroon was but the ice cream was Green tea. The flavor of the ice cream could have been stronger.

I sleep walk here on a few evenings, dreaming of Avocado Smoothie. You say you are loyal to Guacomole?. bah. try this first ! Avocado yumminess with black pearls & jelly. they also offer a selection of other delicious fruit smoothies as well as coconut milk flavoured desert drinks. They are cash only plus their location is a tad difficult to locate at first. but it’s so worth it!

Decided to visit here just for the drive and because the Avocado smoothie caught my eye. It’s a pretty small establishment but was pretty busy. The young lady behind the counter was very polite and took the time to explain a few different types of desserts. I decided to try the Avocado smoothie with boba and my bf had a Mango Macaron. My smoothie was absolutely fabulous never had anything like it before. The Macaron was very delicious as well! Needless to say we are very pleased with the visit. We will be back again it’s worth the drive from Gilroy to Milpitas! Be advised they only accept cash!

Used my groupon card here. It was a pretty good deal! Tried the blended mocha coffee which was pretty tasty! Better than starbucks in my opinion. Not sure if they use a mix or actual coffee, but I enjoyed it. Second time, I ordered black milk tea w/grass jelly. I’m not too big of a fan of their grass jelly, but drink wasn’t too bad! It’s a place w/decent drinks. So if you’re in the area and craving something sweet, stop on by!

I found out about this Bambu location from Groupon, because they had a special deal — $ 18 for 5 visits valued for $ 5 a visit. You could also get it on Unilocal.I’ve been searching for a pearl milk drink vendor willing to cater for my wedding. Boba guys in SF were too expensive($ 6 – 7 a drink if you include their bobaristas!), so my search continued and I met with Aaron here at this Bambu branch. He was really excited and happy to help for my big day. We agreed on what I needed: how many drinks, flavors and time of delivery. He was easy to communicate with leading up to the day and he made sure everything would be ready to go. On my day, he was one time and even threw in 50 extra drinks because he knew my guestlist number and wanted to make sure everyone would get one. He was awesome! My guests swarmed the boba bar and it was a major hit! Can’t thank Aaron enough, thank you so much! You’ll be seeing me around your Bambu for future boba visits! Their other Vietnamese drinks are really good too!

Unilocal showed that it’s open today. My husband drove there and it’s closed on Mondays. What a waste of time and gas.

BAMBU is right by my house so I’ve been here plenty of times but I haven’t decided to write a review until now. I have to say, ever since the owner of the store changed, the quality and service of BAMBU has gone down. They used to have a stamps program but they for some reason took that out? The prices of all of their drinks increased too and it costs $ 1 more to upgrade your drink to a large. It’s kind of unreasonable and by doing this, they’ll losing their customers to the other competing milk tea places in Milpitas that cost less and give more. I’ve ordered a taro milk tea from here once and the whole cup was just filled with ice. I finished the drink in probably less than a minute considering there was barely anything in it. Overall, the drinks are average, sizes are skimped out on, and the prices are not worth it.

Cool, Delicious and Refreshing Che’ from one Smoothie and Dessert Drink at a time to satisfy your love to the unique, hip, modern new BAMBU Asian-inspired Milpitas Park Victoria Shoppe design desserts and variety drinks to choose from. Had their highly recommended #6 Special Che’ Tra Cay Drink(lychee, longan, red tapioca, jackfruit, palm seed, pandan jelly, jello, and young coconut with shaved ice) personally served and stirred by their friendliest and accomodating owner, «AARONTRAN». «THANKYOU» For The ‘Excellent’ Service! ‘Phenomenal’ Drinks! A «BIGSHOUTOUT» To You! Couldn’t Wait To Come Back! Check It Out People! It’s ‘Worth’ The Drive! #BambuDrinksandDesserts

4.50 is a reasonable price for a pretty good drink. Big problem though, tell em no ice and suddenly your drink is filled an inch less. Mind as well charge less then.

Bambu Desserts is one of the smallest there is. at most 2 tables for sit-in. menu board was easy for me to figure out.(once i got the glare out of the way). drink: #2 combo(3.25) –panda jelly, various beans, condensed milk, etc. –almost perfect except the beans can’t make it up the straw. need to scoop it out later drips: –been disappointed with the boba milk teas at bambu so i avoid. flavors just syrup –no one present upon entering so service was quick.

My sister went there last night and ordered the durian smoothie. She told the worker that her drink tasted weird and that it doesn’t taste like it normally does. The worker then forwarded the message to the owner. He responded with«if it was bad then I would get you another one but it’s probably your taste buds». Are you serious? I get that you don’t want to bother making another drink when I customer complains but to flat out be rude about it? That’s unacceptable. ESPECIALLYASTHEOWNER. If you guys go to this location, don’t bother complaining.

They changed owners! The old owners were super sweet and would always give me extra toppings or didn’t charge the toppings at all. Can’t say the same about new owners since everything is more expensive now. Meh. Drinks are still good.

I have never written a Unilocal review before but I think other customers need to hear from my experience. My friends and I came to this Bambu location after dining from a nearby restaurant. I recommended this place since I have been to their other locations and I actually like their drinks. We arrived at around 9:30pm on Tuesday, November 18th, 30 minutes before it closed. It took us a while to order our drinks since there were many options to choose from. The associates were helping us too and recommended several drinks. I ended up getting the hot hazelnut mocha since my throat was still sore from being sick. One of the associates walked over to where I was sitting to give me my coffee, which was a nice gesture. I actually liked my coffee, it wasn’t too bitter and it wasn’t too sweet. Unfortunately, once I arrived back home, I noticed this strange sound in my cup whenever I tilted it. So I uncovered the cup and stirred the drink with a spoon. To my surprise, I lifted up a metal spring. I do not understand how a metal spring can just fall into my coffee without a barista noticing it. And it is about the size of a penny. I feel disgusted knowing that I had drunk nearly two-thirds of my drink with a spring inside. I only give one star based upon the customer service of the employees, but I will never come back to another Bambu again for the fear of having my drink contaminated.
