I work near this café and my friend and I decided to give it a try for the first time today. I ordered the chicken stir-fry meal and my friend got a tuna melt combo. The food itself was okay — tasty and fresh but it was nothing special. Honestly, I could have made the exact same food at home. However, no complaints because the food wasn’t bad at all. The complaint we DO have is that it took so darn long to make our food. There were very few customers there and the cook just took his time making our food. Seriously, it took about 30 minutes for us to get our food! I could understand if there were a ton of customers but what’s his excuse when barely a handful of people were there? So here’s my breakdown: Pros * Cheap — I got a TON of food for $ 6! * Convenient location(there are no other restaurants/cafes within walking distance in our area) * Generous servings — no skimping here! * Plenty of seating in the café with a spacious patio with more seating/tables Con: * SLOW cook — be prepared to spend your entire lunch hour waiting on your food * They have limited hours, they’re only open for breakfast and lunch My conclusion: I don’t plan on going back there as my lunch hour is too precious to spend waiting for sub-standard meals. Don’t get me wrong, this place will do in a pinch but if given a choice, I’ll hop in my car and drive elsewhere for lunch.

I’ve been coming to this little deli for over a year because it’s close to my work and so much better than the fast food alternatives around me. So if you are sick of sandwiches for lunch again but you need something quick to take back to your desk this is the right place to come. It’s a little cafeteria/deli for the offices in this area but the food is great, the prices is really low and the people are fun. Since they support the offices here they have early hours — open early and close early so I have to remember to come before they close down the grill but the food is fresh and cooked when you order it. My go to is the stir fry because the veggies are all fresh and healthy looking and the sauce is modified to whatever you want — spicy or non spicy — terriaki, white sauce or red sauce — they throw in your choice of meat and a bunch of veggies then toss it over your choice of rice, noodles or pasta. The salad bar is not fancy but fresh which is «refreshing» ha ha — I’ve been to enough salad bars where the greens are all wilted to recognize theirs is well cared for. Also for those days when you want a burger they cook those fresh and their frys are better than the Carl’s Jr or McDonald’s options that are around here. The other review here talks about the cook’s bad mood which is sad because I’ve discovered he’s just got one of «those» senses of humor. one of those gruff types that complains about«no special orders» while simultaneously making you exactly what you asked for right in front of you. Give him a hard time back and you’ve won yourself a new friend as well as a great meal. I thought I was«special» because he always remembers me and what I’m going to order until I came on a busy day and saw him do the same exact thing for 3 or 4 other people in line — that’s impressive! I always feel bad that more people don’t know about it — great little secret that shouldn’t be —

Food is decent but the service is horrible. The main guy, who prepares the food for everyone, always seems to be in a bad mood and acts like it is an inconvenience to order food from him. All-in-all this place needs to just hire a new employee to cook and serve the food and it would be perfectly fine.

The food at Café Connextion in Milpitas is o.k. for a cafeteria, the prices are on par with other office park cafeterias, and if you are looking for a quick snack, you could do worse. That being said, the overall consensus at my company is that we will not be going back due to the rudeness of the staff, Albert in particular. When I ordered an omelet with everything, he gave me attitude because it was 7:10, and he had to go in back and get the ingredients(they open at 7:00). After grudgingly getting the ingredients, he asked me to come back when it was ready. As I wasn’t behind the counter, I assume that it is offensive to him for someone to watch him prepare food. Apparently there is something going on behind the counter that he doesn’t want anyone to see. Either way, the food was o.k., but not good enough to put up with the attitude.

This is a little cafeteria style restaurant that I believe is partially funded by an adjacent business. It is close to my office and 3 of us decided to give it a try. We entered the establishment at approximately 12:30 for lunch. They were out of pretty much everything, even hamburgers. From the leftovers, it looked like they had several weak buffet items you might see at a low end hotel lunch line. Their salad bar was mostly depleted and they were all out of soup. This is at peak luch time. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was somewhat passable. One of my coworkers ordered a BLT. I looked down at their grill while waiting for my order and saw 3 pieces of bacon they were cooking or heating. They were each literally less than 1 inch long by ½ inch wide. I thought these might have been salad toppings, but as it turns out, this was the«generous» portion of bacon for my friend’s BLT. I would not have accepted this. If they were out of bacon too, they should have said so. But it was good for a laugh. I would never set foot in this place again.
