I came into the store looking to buy just one small white plate to replace the one that broke the other day. I was at the checkout line and Mike, the store manager helped me. I told him that I am just buying one as a replacement in order to have the complete set, and he said that if I had taken a photo of the broken plate or had brought in the broken pieces, he could have replaced it free of charge. There’s supposedly a 3 year warranty on all pyrex. I didn’t know about this policy and said, «that’s great, I’ll try to remember that next time one of my dishes break». He was so kind, he just replaced it for me. I was really touched by his kindness and superb customer service. He was very friendly and seemed to really care about the customers. I really like Corningware dishes and cups, they’re so durable and perfect for daily use. I will continue to shop at the Milpitas location with great customer service like that and great products! Thanks Mike!

This is basically an OCD cook’s heaven! I basically squealed when I walked in. They have containers and lids for purposes that I hadn’t even thought of! My husband just rolled his eyes at me and walked out to give me some space to go crazy. The prices are alright, not great but alright. I went in for one cereal bowl and came out with 2 plates, 2 large bowls, 1 cereal bowl, 3 lids, and a lot of pride for my self-control~

Me and my friend walked in, didn’t get greeted. The workers were talking about their problems to each other and just glared at us. Then not a minute later a white Caucasian couple walk in and they greeted them to the fullest with help right away. Really rude.

I love Pyrex, and you can’t beat the prices here when things are on sale. This is a great place to pick up a missing plate, cup, or lid to round out any collection. I came back to exchange some lids after buying the wrong size for some old containers(completely my fault, that’s what happens when you buy lids on a whim). Liz was very helpful and exchanged the lids right away for the right ones, even though the original cashier rang them out incorrectly. Great customer service, and in the end I got exactly what I needed without any of the hassle!

Bad customer service! Their store manager Liz Ohlhausen was rude and looked like she was having a bad day, with too much to handle for the long holiday weekend! They stopped taking customers way before the closing time. The professional thing to do would have been to inform their customers of the exact time they would close their store instead of turning people out 25 mins before the actual closing time. They asked people to come next day, really? Who has time for that in this age!

I have never been more unhappy with a store ever. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. With only one cashier we waited over 10 minutes in line. There was two other workers behind the counter one just looking around and the other with her back to us doing something. They really all need to learn some kind any kind of service skills.

I have these plates for our friends’ kids and anyone else I don’t want near my regular stoneware. Some designs are contemporary and not fussy-frumpy-looking, so it’s still stylish with the rest of my stuff. I came to this location because the prices are cheaper than Walmart or Target, especially when they have a sale. I also wasn’t interested in a whole set, just the small and large plates, and they sell open stock. The place was large, there’s not much spent on décor or such, a bit dusty in places, but organized with a good selection of Corelle and Corning stuff, so I got some glasses and bread knives here also. I was able to pinpoint exactly where in the ginormous mall it was so that I parked in that section and didn’t have to spend much time wandering around. The cashier was politely friendly.

The quality of the dinnerware and stuff is good but breakable. The advertisement shows that the plates don’t shatter even if they fall out of your hands… but in reality they SHATTER ! and it’s not covered under the warranty.

I just got back from the store and compared to my experience last night at the Gilroy store, this was horrible. Tracy there was one of the rudest associates I have encountered. When we got to the register, I asked her to carefully pack the items as the last time the bag broke. I swear I wasn’t rude. The dishes that I got we’re buy 12 get 40% off. Tracy told me well these plates are already 50% off. I asked her to hold on as I wanted to make sure my mom still wanted them. Tracy said: well I can override it so its only 40% off. Really? Why would she even suggest that– she didn’t even say it in a joking tone. I had a $ 5 coupon that I was hoping to use, the nice lady at Gilroy gave it to me but not this lady. She made it clear that I didn’t fill out the survey so it was a no go. A HUGE difference from my experience last night and it was all no thanks to the lady who«helped» me. I should add when I asked her to double bag the items, I got massive attitude. Dishes were great as always :)

We purchased a new set of dishes here two weeks ago, and I want to send a big thank-you to the staff. Even though it was a busy Sunday afternoon with lots of customers in the store, the employees were all friendly and helpful. They searched back-stock for items not on the shelf, answered all our questions quickly and courteously, and offered to take our purchases out through the back door and load them directly into the trunk of our car. Five star customer service!!!

Terrific product, average store. Corelle plates are absolutely indestructible, and a fabulous value. For a fraction of the cost they will outlast any wedding china. My parents have used their set daily for over 30 years, with steady abuse from kids, steak knives, and dishwasher, but not one chip or break. The design began to slightly wear after the first 20 or 25 years. The designs are not the most fashionable, but there is a large variety, so you can probably find something that works for you. I thought I’d never consider square plates, but they grow on you pretty quick. The store itself is typical outlet shopping — needs a little dusting and better lighting. But everything is simply laid out, and it’s easy to wander back and forth comparing designs.

Raise your hand if you grew up with Corelle plates in your kitchen and none of them matched? We had the round white plates with tan floral design and also some green unidentifiable vine. It’s funny because I’d go to my friends house and they would have them too. I think Corelle must of been on sale at Montgomery Ward or something and all the Filipino’s stocked up. These plates last forever. They are chip, break and clumsy proof! I’ve carried on the legacy and have invested in these indestructible tableware. Took advantage of the buy 3 get 1 free deal, cute plates from the Pretty Pink collection. Thanks Corning-Revere for the good deal. I hope to have these plates for years to come.

I came into the store with the wife to look for covers for some bowls, which we bought at this store in the past! It has always been at this location since the great mall opened in 1995, and we have shopped there many times in the past with O.K. service. This day we browsed through the store looking for the covers and looking at the items which might be useful in the kitchen. They have so many items for the kitchen and it was all display fine. Prices seemed fair for the offerings. After browsing for a while, we could not find the covers but had a good time looking through the store. In the future, we will be browsing through again! I am contemplating picking up a cast iron or aluminum griddle for my grill– just have to be sure that it will fit within the grill!

Growing up, we used a mish-mash of dinnerware at home — mostly either bowls that we brought back from Taiwan, Corelle plates and bowls and Corningware. To continue in the tradition, my cupboards are stocked with a lot of Corelle plates and bowls. I initially bought a 24-piece set from Target(4 cereal/soup bowls, 4 small plates, 4 large plates, 4 mugs and 4 plastic lids for the bowls) and have been slowly expanding my collection ever since. I was on the hunt for some more cereal bowls and lids(quite handy for packing lunch) and discovered the factory store in the Great Mall… At the time, they were having a Thanksgiving/holiday sale, with lots of 2-for-1 deals and I scored some good deals on bowls, some more plates and a couple Corning travel soup containers. Sadly, no plastic lids for the soup/cereal bowls.

I grew up on this stuff, the white casserole dishes with the blue cornflower, my mom still uses the casserole quart dishes til this day, heck, I remember when my parents bought their first microwave, with analog dials… Corning was the safest cookware to use back then, you can microwave with their stuff and the handles wouldn’t melt or fall off. But I look at their old school thin transluscent white plates with floral design on the edges and cringe, hated eating off of them.

My husband and I have gotten some really nice housewares here. After going into store after store in the Great Mall that only had clothes to a size 12 and I couldn’t get anything it was nice to accomplish some real shopping. I got plates, bowls, and all sort in a nice Frenchy Blue glass material. 3 years later and they are still in good shape. I have also gotten cleavers and other stuff here that are also in good stead.
