Thai in name but not so in quality. Saw the name and thought… tried it and wondered what 18 year old is in the back with a cook book? In a food court so they can have poor quality and thrive. They undercut another Thai vendor in the food court by price so I guess a buck less gets you stir fry slop. Steer clear of this place unless you want disappointment.

Don’t get the pad thai! Don’t do it! It was soggy and overcooked, it made me feel so nauseous after. Very bland! No lime, no peanuts, just a mountain of noodles. The spring rolls and their teriyaki chicken were okay. Can’t beat the cheap prices and the amount of food they give you though. $ 10 for 2 entrees and 1 side plus a water bottle. I guess you get what you pay for. For what it’s worth, get anything else but their pad thai… or go somewhere else.

I had this for lunch today. It tastes disgusting I had to throw it away. My stomach still hurts and I had this 3 hours ago.

The worst food I’ve ever had and it doesn’t worth the money. The service is bad too. It should be 0 star or –1. Orange chicken is only powder, can’t find any chicken. Pad Thai is not actually pad Thai, just like regular noodle. The store should be call China kitchen instead of Thai cuz it’s all Chinese taste.

Why the lowest is 1 star? This store is just worth 0 star. It ruined my lunch. I should bought my lunch at other store. Not worth the money. Don’t waste your money by buying their food even though it’s cheap. Cheap in the bad way.

Unilocal should have Minus star or 0 star. Save the money and stomach for real food. Airplane food is even better this. They practically mixed white rice with soy sauce, added a few green pea. Why the hec they named their nasty broken noodle Pad Thai? Their Mandarins dried chicken is full of hard flowers. nasty!

Ordered the Pad Thai thinking it was going to be really good but it turns out to be very bland. The reason why they hook you up so much for $ 3.99 is cause they probably know it tastes like shit. The orange chicken here is probably the worst in the entire Great Mall food court, outer layer of the chicken was just soggy and nasty. Asked for a cup of water and the lady handed me a cup of water that was already sitting out. Took a sip before my meal and even the water had a funny taste. I know it’s just tap water but damn, even the item that you don’t have to pay for still taste like shit. Why do people still eat here.

The fried rice is just white rice with soy sauce and the pad thai is just noodles drenched in sauce. I didn’t expect something amazing to begin with, but I also didn’t expect something so horrid. For the price, I might as well have just left the mall to get a full course meal.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Gosh first of all they were so rude, I was asking questions about their food and they would answer back all upset. So I was like whatever. I love the one in Sacramento so I was expecting good things from this place I was so wrong. They didn’t even let me taste what they so call«coconut shrimp» looked nothing like coconut shrimp. All I can say is if I would have gotten a sample and I would have liked it they would have made some good money from me and people I recommend this place to. But that’s not going to happen anymore. Customer service simply sucks. Oh and when I turned them down they started talking about me and laughing at me last time I ever go to this location.

Food here tastes awful. I ordered mango chicken and pad tahi for $ 6. The chicken was hard. It does not taste fresh. I think it was cooked yesterday. I eat at the great mall often and i think this place is one of the worst.

I’ve tried this place about 3 times. The pad Thai here is terrible, but you can’t expect much from a food court establishment. The other entrees however are not that bad. I liked the bang bang chicken. I also liked that you could get half fried rice and half pad Thai and they won’t charge extra — just like Panda Express. Please don’t judge Thai food based on the food you’ve tried here.

The food is good for the price. A lot of choices around $ 5. I tried the seafood noodle soup and it turns out pretty good. A good choice when you have to eat at the food court.

Well– it’s a food court fast-food, I wasn’t expecting much, but the one in Valley Fair was excellent. unfortunately, not this one! 1 item combo and a bottle of soda– $ 8.03 ½ pad thai & ½ chow mein with a Thai teriyaki chicken item– was it good? no, not really, not at all. pad thai: soggy, tangy– well, that’s about it for the flavor chow mein: surprisingly, the only thing I ate here that was the right texture, but the oddest orange color for chow mein I’ve ever seen. Flavor? I think I only tasted the noodle– the veggies were even more bland Thai teriyaki: really dry chicken– burnt taste, and a part of the sliced chicken were even crispy and crunchy The only best thing I tasted was my bottle of soda. I am very disappointed as, again, I liked the Ruby Thai Kitchen that was at Valley Fair! Customer service was nice and helpful. Food was not…

I was eating here with some of my friends, and it proved to be one of the worst choices of my life(it was literally that bad…). Apparently, only people who agreed to stand in line and actually buy something, could taste one of their«free» samples, so I decided to give it a try. To make it short, the food was awful. That’s the only word I can use to describe this place. If you ever consider eating here, then don’t, instead consider to eat at the Panda Express right next to it, which btw was closed when I decided to try this place.

For a thai place, this place will not satisfy your craving. Then again, it is just mall food. Let me save you now and say to not get the pad thai. Usually when I order my entrée, I do a mix. I decided to go with the noodles and pad thai. The noodles(forgot what it’s called) was good; although the pad thai was plain and bland. As for the sides, they’re not too bad. If anything, they remind me of another Chinese food to go place. So in that case, I suggest grabbing Panda Express, because you can never go wrong with Panda! Okay, off topic. So back to Ruby, they do allow you to sample their food so be sure to do that. Cleanliness: it’s as clean as a mall food place can be. I love that they have the sauces on the far left side of the counter so you can grab as many condiments without feeling guilty. As far as price, very reasonable. I believe the 2 entrée plate is about $ 7 something. They do over stuff your to go box, and the foods not terrible so that’s always a plus.

That’s a lot of food for around $ 5. I had no idea what to eat at the mall, I ended up getting the curry vermicelli and tofu. Maybe I was hungry, but it was awesome.

I may not be Thai, but I like to pride myself on having been to many Thai restaurants, and having had pretty good Thai food. That being said, I look back on my experience here and think, «what was I thinking?» We all know mall food standards are not that high, but still, the food there should be at least mediocre. Pad Thai noodles made with a thin film of ketchup and dry beyond reason is not ok. Sour tofu mixed with eggplants is not ok. And no, just because they’re not Thai chefs doesn’t mean the food can be awful. If you’re in the business, get with the program! If you’re starving at the mall, save a few bucks and go for hotdog on a stick, which at least is the real deal.

This place is OK. The food doesn’t taste any different from the Chinese or Japanese places in the mall. Kinda generic asian place to eat at.

Pad Thai noodles were just OK. The fried tofu and eggplant wasn’t as spicy as advertised. Had to pay an extra buck for the fried prawns, which was actually pretty good when you consider how bad doughy and greasy fried prawns can be.
