Horrible experiences at this location! I have swore never to go back, but have about 3 times and they continue to disappoint.
The girls at the front will sell you a package and claim the tans never expire, but after tanning for years I asked about 3 times if that was really true. After 3 people confirming this for me I reluctantly purchased tans. Later to find out when I went to use them they magically expired. At one point a girl from a visiting location looked at my account and told me I had lost 55+ medium level tans and 15+ supers. After complaining they always said they would add them back to my account, but after months of waiting that never happened. Total scam of a location!

LOVE LOVE this location!!! Put my faith back in Desert Sun Salons! Mariah was awesome! Answered my questions, SUPER friendly, suggested two lotion packets, purchased them both! Great suggestions! Clean salon, so happy I don’t have to settled for poorly managed federal way locations!

As with most tanning salons, their products are very overpriced and the front desk people tend to up sell and mislead you. Their beds are decent. There are two Desert Sun’s in Federal Way that are nicer/​newer.

This site used to be my go to salon until I was told the wrong information in March about a package, was treated horribly by a young man that works there and ignored by management when I asked for a refund. I will never go back there. When you lie to sell a product and then are treated horribly when your money is not returned, you loose my business. I have filed a complaint with the BBB after over two months of attempted contact. This site is a joke.

Clean salon, knowledgeable & genuinely sweet employees, wide variety of high end products, well maintained sunbeds and an awesome, customizable spray tan! Also, this Desert Sun location features the body wrap system which is absolutely amazing! Beyond that, prices and packages are very reasonable & affordable. I’m more than happy to be a member at Desert Sun!
