Don’t really understand how we spent $ 22 on two egg sandwiches, a latte and some orange juice but that’s what happened. Still I completely enjoyed everything we had and I liked being in a bright open space for our Sunday breakfast. So I’d come back and just maybe keep a better eye on what I’m buying if my wallet is feeling tight.

Love this spot! I’ve been going here since it opened with my family. The kids love the playroom upstairs. It’s great to have them have a place to play while we’re waiting for our order. This keeps everyone happy. The first time we stopped here thought the counter service was odd considering the 2 story layout of the café. We have since got the hang of it. You order and they give you a buzzer that lights up when your order’s ready. Breakfast is great! I’ve had an eggs Benedict there that was delicious. One of my favorite things to eat and was surprised they offered it. They have creative grilled cheese offerings more for adults than the kids though. Desserts are our favorite! Macaroons are tasty and have purchased a box to share at work. Everyone loved them. Check out the menu online there’s plenty to choose from. It’s a little on the pricey side so be prepared but the food is great! I recommend it to all my friends and they’re never disappointed.

Great food, great atmosphere. The hudson valley needs more coffee shops like this where you can work and enjoy great coffee and baked goods :)

When Frida’s first Opened I was happy there was a place like this in the small town of Milton. I am from Westchester and my boyfriend lives in Milton. I see a lot of places like this where I am from that are over priced and not that great. When I first went to Frida’s I thought how great it would be to have a place like this in my town. However the place slowly started to decline-something I really hate to say about it. I think the staff is great and attentive and set up is nice and the pastries are good! However, little things stand out to me-my boyfriends egg and cheese sandwiches are never hot or melty and the rolls are never toasted. These are just little things that can make a big difference in the long run. I ordered the California wrap once and it was just lacking something-it was very dry and just needed something to kick it up a notch. I think if they just elevated things a little bit more this place would be very good!

I needed noticed a great deal concerning this bakery and i also feel as if it had been all buzz. I purchased the red-colored velvet mug dessert using the topping and i also failed to get my money’s really worth. It lacked taste and had been a little bit dried out. Another sweets searched tasty as well as the services was effective. Try something new, even though i would go back.

Keep swearing i’m going to stop just using Unilocal for my own good and start putting my opinions out there for the good of others. Have recently discovered this little gem of a bakery and absolutely love it. Almost disappointed on the days that I don’t have to work therefore don’t have an excuse to pass through this way. Just stopped in for some excellent breakfast, chocolate croissants, sweet and salty cookies, and some delicious quiche for my toddlers lunch today. The staff is amazing and friendly, the facility is gorgeous, worth checking out yourself, and has amazing super kid friendly playroom upstairs. A teeny tiny bit on the pricier side– but you totally get what you pay for quality wise!!(and this morning they threw in an extra cookie for me as they so I was a nurse coming home from work.)Thanks for the great food, wonderful service, and much appreciation for acknowledging a job that’s not always super easy to do

Great Kids play area upstairs so you can relax and enjoy your breakfast or lunch. Or coffee and treats. Can’t find better Bakery items, around here. Quick. Love the breakfast sandwich on brioche. Daily funky grilled cheese are unique. But the desserts and pastries… stop for that for sure. Take some home too. Amazing cinnamon buns.

Yesterday I went to this place after my nephew’s soccer game. I order a toasted bagel with cream cheese and my nephew ordered a bagel not toasted with butter. It wasn’t our first time here so we knew the deal. We knew the lines are long the staff are nice but very disorganized but yesterday’s experience really upset me. We ordered two bagels and we were there for 35 minutes. The girl who took our order was very pleasant but took her time it took us 8 minutes to order which is just unnecessary. When we finally got our food I saw that my nephew’s bagel was toasted and usually something like that wouldn’t irritate me that much but every time he gets a bagel here and he orders it not toast it they toast it anyway. Im sorry I really do enjoy the food and the place is so cute and clean but the lines are too long and the staff are extremely disorganized and slow. And that is why I can only give a 3 star rating

I hate to give such a low rating but I have been here multiple times and con’s out way the pro’s. Pro’s large play space for kids upstairs Con’s –no organized ordering system –it takes forever to get food! whether ordering for take out, delivery or in person the service is sooooo slow. –they are often out of menu items. The last time I called to place an order. The person with whom I spoke took my number and then I ordered a kale salad for pick-up and was placed on hold for a minute to see if there was enough kale. There wasn’t any kale so I said no worries, what about spinach? At that point I was placed on hold again to see if there was any spinach, this time I was on hold for a good 3 – 5 minutes. Then, the phone was disconnected. At that point, I pulled into Kirky’s Deli right on 9W and he made a salad filled with romaine lettuce, roasted red peppers, olives, and banana peppers and it was half the price I would have paid at Frida’s.

I little pricy but totally justified by the high quality food and atmosphere. I had an amazing curry chicken salad sandwich on fresh sourdough. The home made chicken soup was all dark meat and original. I had to get a cup after seeing the person next to me eating it.

Went to Frida’s today with my wife, after a few noce reviews I read. Sunday brunch. Pros: Nice quiche, strong coffee. Cons: Loud and disorganized. Long queues that were not necessary. And with loud music and TV monitors spewing commercial TV all day, is this a great café in the making, or a sports bar or nail salon? The staff seemed overwhelmed and slow, the monitors with a menu scroll really slowly, even quite where to order or pay was unclear. Beacon falls Café is closer, more together and loud only with sated diners. Great price here, but not worth the stimulus and chaos.

A great place for kids and mommys! Having no place to burn kids energy especially in this cold winter, I decided to give it a try because of the playspace. Great place! It’s huge! Everything looks great. All the sandwiches seem delicious. So many baked goods that look amazing. Definitely one of the best places in Hudson Valley!

Super classy place. Hard to find something like this in the area, thus it was a real breath of fresh air(and fresh food)! Highly recommended. Fantastic variety of breakfast and lunch foods.

I went to Frida’s today for lunch with a friend. Overall, I very good eating experience. We had the Build Your Own Salad, large. I added grilled chicken to min. I was a very generous portion and everything was very fresh. My only negative is there seems to be some confusion on the ordering process. We didn’t quite know where to stand. There were only 4 other people in the place when were there so it’s wasn’t really bad. However, on a busy weekend or when the weather is warmer, I can imagine this is going to be a big problem. But again overall, a pleasant eating environment and good food at a reasonable price. I would and plan to go back.

My friend Jerry Starpoli turned me on to this place, and met me here for breakfast before work. I was immediately taken by how wonderful the environment is. Clean, modern café style with both upstairs and downstairs seating. Music is comfortable, lighting just right. I ordered a decaf coffee and a fresh toasted bagel with cream cheese and lox. One word, fantastic! Every bite reflected the effort of on premises, homemade goodness! Everything they offer is fresh, made on site. Even the OJ is squeezed to order! The staff is super friendly and knowledgable of their goodies. My order was $ 9.70, which seems high, but anything with fresh lox brings a price! I would highly recommend this treasure for a great sit down and enjoy!

MIXEDFEELINGS! Very confusing set-up while ordering. PRO’s: Ambiance, overall lay-out, quality of food, healthy options, gourmet preparations/combinations, home-cooked taste, wide variety. CONs: Confusing system for ordering, staff appears somewhat frazzled, confused and disorganized, no available menus, computerized menu monitor is S-L-O-W to scroll down, buzzer system for retrieving your order. I’m hoping that Frida’s is just experiencing some newbie growing pains and that they will get their«cons» worked out with time. The renovated building is beautiful and the layout is well-designed. But upon entering at 10:00 a.m., we were waiting in a queue of eight(8) in front of the counter for someone to even acknowledge us; there were NO menus available, other than two very slow-scrolling computer monitors(mounted near the ceiling, but views are blocked by hanging lights and shelving stacked on top of the deli/bakery cases), which, if you don’t know what you want, is a horrible way to try and figure out what they have available for sale, as opposed to quickly scanning a stationary menu board or a menu. We felt confused as to what they even had to offer, other than what was in front of us within the cases. Staff seems nice enough, but was clearly uninformed about some of the products we inquired about and seemed frazzled when dealing with the line of 8 people waiting to place their order at the counter. We were given a buzzer after we placed the order to be notified when our food was ready to pick up at the counter. Frida’s was«out» of two of the items I attempted to order, so I had to rethink my meal plan twice. The large cups of coffee served in cute, home-style large country mugs were a nice touch, as were the rest of the plates, bowls and dishes. The silver ware was available at each table within a mason jar– unusual, but OK. The food did have a home-cooked taste, but could have used a little more flavor within the two soups we tried and the Falafel wrap was kind of dry and could have used more«stuffing». I did get a few of the cold salads available by the pound from the deli case. Those were really fantastic: Homemade hummus, curry chicken salad, smoked whitefish salad and the beets & walnut salads were delicious. I will be back, but I hope they figure out a better system with the ordering and delivery of the food, otherwise, I might not be a long-term customer.
