This place is some of the best creole style food we have experienced outside of Louisiana! It was this cute hole in the wall type place, very casual, and the staff was so busy but still so kind and attentive. We had the jambalaya(which my boyfriend loved) and I had the shrimp creole, which was delicious! They also had a stuff squash blossom, which I debated claiming as the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this place if your staying in Milton or just passing through. You will not be disappointed!

All I can say is wow!!! Our food was excellent. We did make reservations as it got really busy. I had the Blackened Catfish with seasoned fries and coleslaw. Also rice pudding that was yummy. We had the corn bread, very good. And the Halibut Tomato Bisque was outstanding!!! Can’t wait to go back to try other things on the menu.

Holy cow is this place good?! The bread on the po boys is that soft, thin, white that you expect in NOLA. The fried contents are perfectly dusted in cornmeal and very fresh, not greasy. The blackened catfish was juicy and flavorful. I had the seafood chowder which boasted a very balanced mix of seafood and veggies. By 1pm, it was all gone! My only caveat is if you go during the day, avoid sitting in a spot where you face the windows. The sunshine glare from the windshields of the many patrons will blast you. They do have Abita, to boot.

Good food, Good service, dinners a bit pricey for my taste. But really table reservations for Sunday Brunch? Folks getting turned away while reserved tables sit empty. This is the reason we don’t come regularly. If you don’t get there early at 11 am Sunday morning then your out of luck for what tables are available. Summer season is even worse. Glad to see local Resturant doing so good but… Kitchen having real hard time getting orders out in timely manner

My daughter and I split the Zydeco Po Boy sandwich. The portions were generous; perfect for a reasonable lunch. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Scallops and risotto were fabulous! Cooked fresh to order. Service was great. Chef came to our table to ask about the food. Excellent experience. We would go out of our way to visit again.

What a fantastic meal! Call ahead to make sure you get a spot. Food was timely, great service, every dish tasted great. The seafood was fresh and the fried items weren’t oily. Looking forward to the next visit!

My favorite oyster place in the world. Unpretentious. Hopefully it won’t get too big.

I had the fried oyster app & a crab cake sandwich. The oysters had no taste & were soggy. I have no idea what they were breaded with but it was flavorless & had a sandy texture. I didn’t even eat them. My crab cake sandwich came as a crab cake po boy which was a very small crab cake on a sub roll. The crab cake had good taste but it was very small.

Again another outstanding Cajun meal with libations that were yummy. The whole experience from the waitress Pam to the creole and pecan pie just resonated with authenticity and flavor. I don’t eat grits. But the grits on the creole are mouth watering.

We made an arbitrary rule to only do 5 stars on «fine dining» so 4 stars here. The service is efficient and friendly, $ 5 Abita’s and great specials. We stuck to basics… biscuit, gumbo and crawfish po boy. The gumbo was righteous! Very smokey, creamy and layers and layers of flavor. Nothing was an afterthought. The biscuit was fluffy layers of deliciousness. For a bite you won’t forget, dip the crusty edges of the biscuit down in the gumbo gravy… you are welcome. The po boy was on crunchy crunchy bread with hot and juicy crawfish tails lightly fried in corneal. We got the remoulade and are glad we did. Fresh tomato set it off. We split it to save room for some beignets! Warm fluffy pillows of doughy goodness. At $ 1.50 you can’t go wrong. This place is always solid and great!

We loved Po’ Boys for its authentic Cajun Creole cuisine. It changed hands and though we keep coming back, hoping, it just isn’t what it was anymore. Creole food has its roots in French cooking: it relies on depth of flavor that comes from slow, careful combinations that form the base layer upon which the firey hot spices do their magic. Without those underlying herbs and classical stocks, the food is one-dimensional. You can’t fix these dishes with hot sauce or salt and pepper. If there’s nothing underneath. Red beans and rice: beans too salty – no other favors discernable. Catfish was fisher than average, perhaps it’s not selling fast enough? Salad was outstanding, though – half a head of freshest Romaine, and half a Roma, along with some nice garlicky croutons, cucumber, onion and carrot sticks.

It has been about three years since my first visit here. The only reason for this is that three years ago was the last time I was in town! I stopped in again and had the same dish as the first time I came because I liked it so much. Shrimp in Creole butter with grits. It was even better this time! Delicious!!! I wanted to order another plate. Service was above average and I got some beignets to go. Freshly made and still warm even a half hour later they are a must get when here. I would be a regular customer if I lived in the area. Too bad they are so far away from my home. The folks here know how to cook!

Simply amazing! We are visiting family for the long holiday weekend and had to come and eat here. We came once before a few years ago and it’s still as amazing. We started with the scallops with a side order of the parmesean grits it was amazing(I know I keep using this word but that’s how it is) together. For entrées we ordered the shrimp Creole and the halibut special. Both orders were great. For dessert we ordered the beignets and the rice pudding. Beignets were as if I had them in New Orleans(well almost as good). The service was on point. Absolutely no complaints from us and we will definitely be back

This place is AMAZING. It doesn’t look like much from the outside. But it was hands down the best po boy I have ever had. Its next to a Mexican grocery store. We may not have noticed it on our own. The owner of the place we rented for the week highly recommended this place. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the service was good, and the wait was reasonable. The owner was really nice he came out and spoke to us. We loved it so much we came back the next day and got carryout for our picnic on the beach. It’s on the way to Rehoboth and Lewes. They were flexible with making last minute changes to our orders etc. The price point was good for the value, quality and amount of food we got.

If you’ve never been here and is only following the GPS, pay attention because we almost drove by looking for a stand alone restaurant. This place is in a plaza so look out for that! When we entered we were greeted and told to site anywhere and since there ws only 2 of us we sat at the 2 people table. Looking around I got a very«local mom & pop» feel from the way the place looked and the people dining there. There is a specials menu on the chalkboard by the kitchen on the way to the bathroom. Make sure to check that out! That is where we discovered their heavenly GATORBITES $ 10, «NOLA» SEAFOODBISQUE, buttermilk biscuit and cornbread. For our main entrees we ordered the JAMBALAYA and CRAWFISHETOUFFEE. After ordering, they moved us to a larger table because everything wouldn’t fit on our table E V E R Y T H I N G was delicious! My favorite were the Gator Bites and the dip sauce. I could eat that as a snack all day! Perfectly crispy on the outside and not oily which is very important to me. The cornbread and biscuit goes perfectly with the Seafood Bisque — lots of seafood. The Jambalaya came out with shrimp, sausage and a bunch of other yummy goodness on rice covered in sauce. When I ordered the Crawfish Étouffée, I was afraid I would have to pick them out of the shells by myself. But it came out already picked and soooooo many! Thank you to whoever took all that time picking them! And everything came out steaming hot — which I love! This place is 2 hours from where I live or I would defninitely come weekly! We also heard they are famour for their Gumbo but we couldn’t finish what we already ordered! I really want some of those Gator Bites right now! =’(
