Loved this little pet-friendly hotel just outside Pensacola, FL. Staff was so friendly, rooms were very clean, super comfy beds/pillows, quiet air conditioners, and we couldn’t beat the price($ 99 for a Friday night for 2 queen beds) AND no pet fee! It seemed to be in a good part of town. We ate dinner at a great little seafood restaurant a couple miles away called All About Food. Only cons: 1) the room had a very faint smell of stale smoke. It’s an all non-smoking hotel so I can only imagine that the room we were in used to be a smoking room back in the day. I have asthma and I never had an issue with the faint odor. 2) the continental breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. Cereal, breads, juice/milk only. Overall though, excellent stay!

My dirty, bedraggled family crawled in at 3am. I had called ahead to ensure we had a rollaway for the baby, and unlike other hotels, they had it set up and ready for us in the room with a fresh sheet. The night agent, Chris, could not have been sweeter if she were a Stepford wife. Helped me with the doors and elevator, and got me checked in in no time. The way she spoke to me made me feel like family she had been getting worried about. When I brought in our 120lb 9mth old Great Dane puppy, she didn’t blink an eye and even offered to hold his leash while my daughter got something out of the car. She offered him a little doggie biscuit and we went to our room feeling well received and welcomed. The room was clean with a small fridge and microwave. There was a small built in desk and most important, the beds were comfortable. Woke up to more great service in the breakfast room. The breakfast attendant, CJ, saw me juggling three coffees and some pastries and handed me a tray to take to my room. A passing employee, Jennifer I think, saw me heading towards the elevator and pressed the button as she walked passed, I said, «thank you!» And she smiled and said no problem. Meanwhile, my husband and 16 mth old daughter are making a mess upstairs, exploring the halls and windows and ice machine. They had spilled some muffin crumbs and tried to tip the housekeepers, but they wouldn’t accept it. This is not an expensive hotel, they don’t even charge a pet fee… But they sure know how to make you feel like a VIP. The type of customer service one would expect at a Marriott hotel. I hope they never change. This was the second hotel on our road trip and the difference between the two is striking. Motel 6 was an epic fail, this was a dream. If you’re traveling with pets, skip the 6 and go here instead… You will be so much happier… I promise

I’m giving this hotel 4 stars because it was clean & the staff were very courteous & helpful. I am a mom of 2& we have strict budgets when we travel. For the price, I was very happy. This is a great place if you just need a clean place to lay your head for a night when traveling. Is it stellar? No. Are there great room amenities? No. Is the tv in the room small & very outdated? Yes. But, it fits my needs & budget.

I booked on line, it was ok and cheap. I travel with my dog, and I like that Red Roof does not charge for her to stay. I must say, the dog treat they had to offer, my dog refused. She NEVER refused before any thing to eat. Just the word treat has her licking her lips! There was some noise, so she barked during the night, especially when they push the bill under the door…

I can’t believe I am giving this three stars! This was actually a fairly decent one. After searching for about five hours straight for hotels from florida to Mississippi we happened to stumble upon this one from a wrong turn, lol. Every place that was pet friendly was booked, and this place had one king suite left, and I got it. It costed me 115, which for red roof inn is very high, but we had no choice! The suite was very comfortable, clean, and the AC was freezing cold, and even though they had a full house we didn’t hear a thing. So that was great. Now the only bad thing was we only had Luke warm water, which was bad because my husband enjoys a hot bath before bed. We called front desk and they said something was going on and the maintenance was off for the weekend, lol, Red Roof Inn Remember! By the morning the water was hot, so I guess it was just because they had a full house it couldn’t keep up and when my husband went to complain, the Gil at the desk agreed with that and said they only had three water heaters for the whole place and basically that was just to bad, lol. Red Roof Inn Remember, but besides that, this is a ok place and if I ad to stay again I would, and I would recommend to family.
