Went here one time, two years ago. Had a couple drinks with a pal. We ran up a $ 22 tab which I paid on my card, but the bar charged it twice. I called the next day to ask why, they said the owner was going to call me back. Never heard from them. Decent bar. Cheap drinks. Nice bartender. Great jukebox. Pay cash so you don’t fall prey to their inability to run a credit card correctly.

I was visiting friends and they took me here. Nice little dive-y place. I like that! They have a bar game, Shake of the Day. You pay $ 1 for 2 chances to roll a set of 5 dice. i don’t remember the particulars, but I *do* remember that I rolled something that won me a six-pack or the option for 3 free drinks(since I don’t live in the state, I chose option #2). A good night, a fun neighborhood place, lovely bartender(Theresa). Good times!

At first I wasn’t all that keen on Backdraught, but it grew on me. They have a nice jukebox, a pool table, and a big enough bar to accommodate a pretty good crowd. The space is small, but it’s cozy, and after the initial awkwardness of walking into a small bar as a stranger passes, it becomes quite comfortable. The bartender was talkative and friendly, and beers are cheap. This is very much a neighborhood dive, but a well-kept dive. It almost looks as if it’s in someone’s living room. This place is easy to get to if you live in the area and it’s easy to find on one end of Tippecanoe Park. I would recommend it, since it’s one of the better holes in the wall I’ve visited in the general vicinity.
