The Bubbler

The bartender Justin was very sexest, crude, and unprofessional. He was more concerned about his friends then providing a welcoming environment. I worked in service industry now i am a city buliding inspector and have never felt so disrespected after tipping him if he was my employee he would be made an example of. That’s why there are no women there probably the way he wants it.

A favorite corner bar that I like to go to when I’m visit my sister in town.

There is a small section of Howell south of Oklahoma where, had you no knowledge of your actual geographic location, one could or may even swear they were straight up «up nort» Wisconsin.
A hot tub time machine, er, rather, a sportsball-​inclined dive-​ish neighborhood bar with amazing pizza from Vinchi’s… this, my friends… this is the Bubbler.
Cheap drinks, really solid specials, no-​frills, and Vinchi’s… are you kidding me? That pizza is the shit, dudes. Sub pepperoncinis for mushrooms on the supreme and I’m in business forevermore.
There’s a liquor store and a bait shop directly across the street. I mean, c’mon… it’s really everything you could ever need in one square quarter block.

This place is great! Been popping in here for a few years. The bartenders and the owner are all beyond friendly, to the extent that you feel like part of their family. Good drink selection, really great bloody Mary’s and quick service. And if you are hungry, you absolutely have to have a vinchis pizza, I think it’s the best in Milwaukee. Great for sports or just plugging the juke.

I had never been but I’d totally go again. Drinks were strong and I loved the big tables for groups. Had a great jukebox. Back area for serious talks and go just being away from the crowd. Like I said, I’d go again! Drinks were really strong. I would comment on prices but I didn’t pay for a thing. :)

The bar is a normal corner bar but a little nicer with 5 TVS for games but the pizza which is a separate business that only takes cash is in the back of the bar. Super odd but the pizza is great!

The food is delicious, the beer is cold, and it’s 100x better in here than Planet Marky /​Dale Z’s (up the street).

I enjoyed The Bubbler. It was our last stop of the night and it was late when we stopped in, but I remember chatting with the bartender, who was friendly and cool, and I liked the vibe and décor of the place.
We had just come from Planet Marky, which I didn’t care for very much, and The Bubbler was definitely a notch or two above that, in my opinion. I wish we would’ve come here instead because this place had a cozy, relaxing vibe to it.

I really like this place. Think of it as your basic Southside tap with better beer. Every time I’ve been here I’ve had a great time. The patrons are friendly (sometimes too much so. There was a drunk old man yelling at everyone that came through the door. The crazy old bastard was really looking for a drinking buddy that night.), and Justin might be the most entertaining bartender to watch in town. Hair on fire. They also have the best sign I have ever seen. Check it out.

We went to check out «The Bubbler» this past Saturday Afternoon. This Bay View neighborhood bar is situated on Howell Avenue just south of Oklahoma. We were able to park on the street not far from the entrance. At first glance the bar seems small, however, upon entering is quite spacious. We were greeted by the fun and outgoing bartender Justin. The Bubbler has a great selection of beer and libations. Flat screen TV“s had all the Saturday sports available for viewing. When hungry food can be ordered from Vinchi’s pizza located inside the Bubbler. We had intended on trying the Steak Sandwich that had been recommended from friends, however, we decided on the pizza. We ordered a medium pizza which was a thin crust, sweet tomato sauce, fresh italian sausage and onion pizza. VERY GOOD! Had some left-​over to take home, great value for the $$. We will return to the Bubbler in the future!

Good bar with great bartenders! And now they have an Italian place renting out their kitchen with delicious foods.
