Boot Connection

A quick review:
I needed new workboots. Generally, it’s a huge pain in the butt for me to find boots because I have sorta a weird size, and I’m sorta picky about the look of my boots. I was ready to go store to store trying to find something, anything, to replace my old pair, which was falling apart.
This was the quickest boot shopping experience of my life. I went in, looked at some boots, got a couple of recommendations from the salesman. I tried a pair on, liked them, paid for them and walked out.
Painless. I love it.

Had great customer service there today. I came in and bought a pair of Ariat boots. They have the best selection in the city. Their employee, Mike, was professional, helpful and knew his stuff. I definitely would recommend this store to everyone.

Bought a new pair of work boots and this was the right place. Good selection and value; I’ll be pointing my colleagues here and coming back myself.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Enormous selection of Western and work boots. Bought a pair of winter boots for a good price– better than any price I could find online for the same make– and the salesman threw in a tin of waterproofing conditioner on the house.

Full survive family owned large Selection of boots. This place has the best selection of boots I have ever seen. If you have a boot that needs repair they will fix it. They also sell made in the U.S.A. Boots it’s hard to find much made here. I Recommend this place to. Everyone is looking for boots

About 2 weeks ago, I brought in two pairs of dress shoes… one pair needed to be shined and a scuff filled in on one of the shoes, and the other shoes needed to be resoled.
I was given a claim ticket and was told to call back last Thursday to see if they would be ready for pickup. I needed these for Monday, as I was starting a new job. I called as I was told to do, and they told me that the one pair was done & the others would be done by Tuesday.
Tonight I went in and the pair that needed to be shined and the scuff removed filled in was not to my satisfaction, I reluctantly paid for them. And the pair that needed to be resoled was not even completed as I was told «He could not fix them, you can wear them like they are, or just throw them away.»
Really?! I asked the guy working if it was so difficult to call seven digits to let me know that they could not be completed so I could find someone else in the area that might be able to work on them in a timely manner.
I even asked him if he knew of anyone else in the area that might be able to work on them, his response was «I don’t know?!»
Seriously, I thought that this place was well recognized and appreciated in the area for many years. After this experience, I have to wonder why.
They may have the best selection of boots in the area, but their customer service can kiss my ass. I don’t think I will ever patronize them again in any way, shape, or form.
Thanks for nothing Boot Connection, I will be all to happy to patronize another location that gives a damn.

How weird that Cassie D would mention the agony of being at the Boot Connection and finding the perfect boot and then realize it didn’t have it’s better half. Because that is exactly what happened to me yesterday. OK… so maybe we were there together and she stole my Boot Connection experience to make her review sound better!
I went in not expecting to leave with a pair of boots. But, really… how can anyone pass up the offer of Buy One Pair get A Second Pair Half Off? You can’t pass it up!!!
So, I immediately found the one lonely boot tucked in the corner that was calling my name (except of course for the pink stitching, but I looked past that because they were so me). I looked and looked for the other boot, but was having no luck. The guy working, whose name I also forgot, was extremely helpful, got down on his hands and knees looking for me. After no luck, he gave me the bad news that the boot was no longer made and couldn’t not be ordered. Since it was also my first pair of big girl boots he suggested I try a size bigger and explained how the boot should feel on my feet. I took his suggestion and went home with a brand new pair of brown leather and pink stitch cowboy/​riding boots.
Now, to find a country bar to wear them too!
Overall, I felt extremely welcome, although at first I was a bit nervous. Like everyone was going to stop what they were doing and stare at us when we walked in cause they knew we weren’t Boot people. Friendly Staff, Clean Store, Huge Selection. I highly recommend!

I bought my first grown-​up cowgirl boots this week to celebrate my birthday… It was my first visit to the Boot Connection.
The service was great, I cannot remember his name, but he was very helpful. They have a ton of boots of the cowboy persuasion (As well as work and motorcycle boots… and of course Moccasins). As the name suggests… They are a boot store and don’t carry a whole lot else.
You locate your size and then dig through the selves. The excitement of finding your boots match in the pile is palpable. As is, I’m sure the pure agony, of a boot with no match.
From basic black and brown, to pink and purple, shiny to worn in, toned down to flashy. Prices range but it seemed the median was about $ 150.00 for a nice pair. I saw an amazing white snake skin embellished pair (There may have been rhinestones) for $ 500.00 and others for under $ 100.00.
They have buy a pair get the second half-​off so bring a friend or an insatiable appetite for boots. I must have tried on every available pair in my size and even shoved my tootsies into some that weren’t all with no evil eye from the staff. I felt very welcome… And clearly, a Boot Connection was indeed made.
