I am always happy with the haircut from Tom. Just tell what you want… and it gives it to you. I love the foam straight edge cut on my neck line. Always makes me look great. For $ 15, you can’t beat it.

My husband goes here all the time. The gentleman who runs the place is awesome. really knows his stuff. quick and does a good job. we even take our two year old there and he has an awesome little monster truck for kids. great place to go if you want to support a local business. really inexpensive. oh and you can call ahead and he will tell you if there is a wait! BIG TIME RECOMMENDATION!

Today was my first visit to Comb ‘N Shear. Tom knows what he’s doing! He gave me a modified pompadour-​style haircut and he did a nice job. Also, he suggested that my beard line under my jaw be tightened up some too. He was so right! After he cleaned it up I really noticed the difference. Thanks Tom.
Guys — if you want a great barber experience with no BS and at a great price, check out this place! Street parking is very easy out front.
Also, Tom has been doing this for 50 years!

Great cut at a great price. Tom has been cutting hair for over 50 years. He is fast and precise, especially since I’m very picky about my flat tops. Friendly and engaging without being super talkative.
Location is on a corner, so it is easy to find. Parking is right on the street. Has a kiddie barber chair for little boys too. Clean bathroom in the back. I will be coming back regularly!

I just had my first experience at Comb’n Shear. I was able to get an appointment on the day I called. Tom, the owner, immediately guessed why I was unsatisfied with my previous haircut. He did a great job and was really easy to talk to. I was in and out in under 20 minutes, and I left with probably the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. He charges $ 13 for an adult cut, which is an amazing bargain considering I’d paid twice that at the salon I used to go to. At that rate, I can afford to get my hair cut more frequently, so I won’t end up looking so shaggy in between cuts.

Good haircuts, good conversation. I usually avoid getting my haircut because I am a reserved man and dislike making phony conversation with random stylists, but Tom has a good vibe. He told me a great recipe for bread. He takes his time on your hair and even uses a straight edge on the ears/​neck/​sideburns. Girlfriend says I look great, so I guess I’ll stick with this guy!
