Denny’s

After a horrible experience at a nearby breakfast location, we were seated quickly our drinks and food order was placed within a 10 minute time frame. They are on top of things especially for a Sunday Morning. If a quick breakfast is what your looking for, don’t hesitate to come here.

Took 5 – 10 minutes to be seated and they were ¹⁄₃ full. The host took our drink order and was never seen from again. Other servers noticed us and didn’t say anything.
After 15 minutes we hailed what looked to be the manager and she said some people had called in sick so she could help us. (We counted 4 servers and 10 tables with 2 – 4 customers per table.) She asked about taking our drink order and we mentioned we had been waiting for 15 min so we knew what we wanted to eat. My wife was pregnant so she needed to eat ASAP, thus we ordered an appetizer before our meals. Drink order came and then the manager disappeared after that.
20 MINUTES later and no appetizer. If you do the math it has now been almost 45 minutes from walking in and again the place was ¹⁄₃ full. We had enough and walked out. I’ve never done that before after placing a food order but i didn’t feel bad because my wife needed to eat. Will never return.

OHMYGOD. So the first time I went here, there were 3 people total in the restaurant and it took forEVER to get our food. I let it slide since they just opened and people are probably still being trained. Today I went, it was a little bit crowded and again, it took us a ridiculous amount of time to get our food. We were getting a bit antsy, and asked our waitress to check on our appetizer and she gave us a time and of course, our food showed up way later. My friend got her entrée’ about 15m before I got mine. We ate (which was sub-​par) and paid our bill. Not 3 minutes did we walk out and both of us had explosive diarrhea. This is not food poisoning. Maybe I am wrong, but it sounds to me like they got mad that we were antsy and put something in our food. Just too coincidental that both of us were that sick within mere minutes with two separate meals. We did share an appetizer but still. I will NEVER go back to this Denny’s again. Service is awful and this whole experience (which sounds unbelievable, but its true!) is complete unacceptable. So beware. If you go, bring a book, extra change of pants, and don’t complain about the food.
