This place is amazing when it comes to the cuisine! Seafood really is the way to go here as those were the dishes that impressed me the most. My dining companion and I had the shrimp, ceviche to start. It was huge, well seasoned and scrumptious — I would go here for this alone. The ceviche comes with a choice of saltines or tostada shells(x3)…the shells were a bit overpowering for me but the free chips worked out perfectly. For our first time here we decided to get one traditional ‘barometer’ dish, the chicken enchiladas, as well as something more unique to the establishment, the tilapia. The enchiladas were very good and among the best of any I have ever had… however, the fish was where the flavor was. This enormous entrée came with a delicious sauce of olives, octopus, and an assortment of other decadent flavors. There are other sauces one can get(at least 4) but this one the waiter recommended The staff here also earn a star. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and willing to answer any and all questions about the menu without the traditional *sigh I hear too often these days… They rounded out the experience to make it a great night. Such a great place and only four stars though? Okay here is where I had some issues… — Whatever that smell is in the entrance… unappetizing to say the least! I am more than willing to share some Glade coupons I found in the mailbox… — The drinks were very lackluster… for a place with a full bar… they can do better… a lot better — Finding the place was odd — the sign outside does not reflect the name well(use the address) and parking is metered to 9p… their fault — of course not! Just remember to bring change or risk it in a local business lot… I’ll go here again some hot summer day and order a Michelada and shrimp ceviche… maybe even the Tilapia for dinner for two(it’s that big!) I would recommend you do the same!

Looking for the former restaurant and decided to give this place a try. Had a great experience. Happened to catch the Tuesday oyster special. A menu featuring seafood done in a multitude of ways and service by a friendly staff who made suggestions of ways to have it prepared that weren’t on the menu made this rather unique experience. The place is clean and colorful. Try the Tiramusu for dessert.

A new place on Cesar Chavez. A little hard to find, but worth it. Tremendous fresh Mexican style seafood. Probably the best ceviche in town. Also a ridiculous oyster special on Tuesdays. Wow. Beyond that I had three shrimp dishes that were all outstanding. Plus…good luck finding octopus this good anywhere.
