The list of issues we’ve been dealing with since moving in to Oakland/North is absurd and our experience with the way Joseph Properties manages this property thus far has been unprofessional. Upon moving into our apartment on 5⁄16 here is a list of issues that I’d like to share with you. Please see below… — Patio was not complete and the rain water took almost two days to drain. — It took two weeks to get the tiles installed and we’re still waiting on the touching finishes to be completed. It’s been almost two weeks since the tiles were installed. — Washer was leaking and formed a puddle underneath the washer. — Tyler, with maintenance, came the same day I reported this issue and resolved. He’s the only one that has proven to get anything done around here. — Entryway Call Box system wasn’t set up. — 3 weeks late the call box still isn’t set up and we’ve missed 6 deliveries to date. — Apartment was filthy — The apartment obviously wasn’t cleaned prior to our move in. Our clothes were dirty from the closets and are feet were black from the floors. — Windows weren’t working — All of the balances in the windows were broken so the windows wouldn’t stay up unless we had something holding them up.(I’m sure that looked classy from an outside view) — Windows had no screens — After one week of not having any screens Tyler installed as many screens as he had available to him. After another two weeks we’re still waiting on the master and kitchen screens.(this is extremely dangerous since we have a small dog and he could very easily fall out of the windows if we don’t constantly pay attention to him when they’re open) — Outside of the windows are filthy — They have no window cleaning service so we have to deal with the filthy windows. — Master shower had a crack. — It took two weeks to get someone in to the apartment to fix the crack at the bottom of the shower. — Master shower bar had already scratched the wall. — This has yet to have been fixed. — Kitchen drawer scrapes against the wall — We had communicated this to management prior to our move in and this wasn’t addressed. It took two weeks for them to fix. — There were screws sticking out of the cabinetry — It took two weeks for them to remove the screws. Obviously, no one from this company did a walk through prior to our move in. If they did their attention to detail in non-existent. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment to my worst enemies…
