Stopped for lunch yesterday when I spoke with all 3 employees at different intervals. It was disorganized and disappointing. They were out of the bagel I ordered, so I was told «they’re all right there». When I asked how long the wait would be I was told it would be too long. I was meeting someone there for coffee anyway and would have gotten it on my way out. I then ordered an iced coffee and got a hot drink. I told the employee it was wrong, but she argued with me instead of offering to remake it. Overall put a huge damper on what would have been a nice lunch with people I don’t see often enough. I will not be back.

I have been coming to Einstein’s bagel for years. Back in the day a bagel and smear was always a welcome treat, but today they’ve expanded their menu so much that it’s a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! The store is clean, well lit, and the staff is always friendly. This is a great place to meet up with people.

The staff is great. I went to this place with no idea of what they had to offer and the girl working there was awesome. She explained all the choices to me according to my taste. I would say that she held my hand from the moment I entered this place until the moment I exited. It doesn’t end here. The bagels that she made for me were delicious. I even went back after that as she made the whole experience so nice and pleasant.

I only stop here because it is on my way to work. I have stopped for breakfast a whole bunch of times and the bagels with humus, cheese, and veggies (my usual) are always good.
It is a much better pricing for the same thing than Brueggers bagels and that is reason I give 4 stars and not 3
Although my visits are limited to breakfast, I like it and will be back!

I go here once in a while, its not the best food. The service is slow as well. Breakfast bagels are okay but any bagel containing meat taste mediocre.

Not that great. Latte wasn’t that good, bagel sandwich was Ok, but I made the mistake of having it on the garlic bagel that tasted pretty gross. Workers were nice and I got in and out pretty quick.

The BEST sandwich/​bagel place in the Milwaukee area. This is the spot that I get my favorite lunchtime meal, a turkey/​bacon/​cheese bagel melt… and it’s fantastic. I’ve been to the Einstein Bagels that is downtown and rated it EXTREMELY poorly. And maybe I was hard on them because this location (27th st) is so good. My one small gripe, is that the prices are pretty high. For a bagel sandwich, chips and drink, it costs me over $ 9. But, I normally don’t have an issue paying for what I want… and that’s the case here.

Well, coming from someone who drives to Wheeling and Skokie IL for good bagels, Einstein fills a local void. I also like Big Apple Bagels. My only complaint is the extremely small amount of overpriced smoked salmon on the Lox sandwich. Much better than Brueggers, the other chain option.

This place has so many options. There is every type of bagel that you could think of, and then you get to choose from an insane list of cream cheeses. They have very good pastries. I like the bagel thins, because it is basically all toppings and no carbs, well, fewer carbs, I’m also a fan of the pretzel bites and honey mustard. They have dog treat bagels, and they’ll make your usually well mannered dog, into a viscious monster if you try to take it away, but I guess they like them, too!

It seems the only time I stop in to Einstein’s is when I have screwed up royally at work and need to bring in a dozen bagels for the crew.
I love that they open at 530am. So, when I get there all of their bagels are freshly made. I have never had a bagel from Einstein that I didn’t believe was made that morning. They have a wide variety to choose from, and when you order the dozen you get two cream cheese containers with it.
They also offer different sandwiches and drinks.
Another favorite of mine, that I don’t get nearly enough, is the bagel dog. A nice big hot dog wrapped in a bagel. Delicious!
The staff is always friendly and the place is always clean.
