I had never heard of Hup’s and now I keep encountering people who have been keeping its magical goodness a secret all these years. Had been out at the lakefront with my love interest and we were all googly-​eyed and feeling the love. Feed me, I suggested. Hup’s it is, he suggested. We tried to call and place our order in advance, but oh contraire! Hup’s does not endorse these practices. You have to order at the restaurant, and you have to pay cash. You then have to wait 15 – 20 minutes in a shady parking lot for your pizza goodness to be done. But when it’s done? Oh me, oh my. It is one of the best ‘zas I have had in this town. Worth the try, the risk, the wait, the all of it.

The best pizza I’ve ever had in Milwaukee. Easily. Here’s the low down on Hup’s. If you’re looking for your neighborhood jolly Starbucks service, this is not your place, the restaurant is not in a great area, the people will come off rude, but everyone on the north side of Milwaukee could care less because that pizza they produce is amazing. Definitely call ahead and pick it up! Delivery can take awhile because they get busy and the place is so so small that they can’t keep much staff. The building is literally the size of a small tool shed. No joke. Nevertheless, all the service issues don’t matter because you will not regret ordering from Hup’s and will recommend it to everyone you know.

Delicious pizza in the middle of no where. Make sure you call ahead. Else the Hampton house bar across the street is friendly for a quick beer. Worth the trip!

OMG, it is the best pizza in the world. Not kidding. I was raised in the area but haven’t lived there in over 12 years. It is literally the only thing I miss about Milwaukee. Why the owner never opened another pizzeria in a nicer area I will never know. It is worth it’s weight in gold. The flavor is unbelievable! The neighborhood is really run down but it’s actually worth getting a concealed weapons permit just so you can go pick up your pizza. Remember, safety first. It is literally to die for.

To die for pizza! The crust is perfect (thin) and the toppings generous. The waiting area is 6 feet by 6 feet (no joke) so order ahead. If you wind up standing in «the closet» waiting area it is fun to talk to those standing around. They all have one thing in common, they love that pizza! A guy, who was from Slinger Wisconsin, about 25 miles away, stopped in for a par baked pizza. I did not realize they offered that.

Come with cash and a thick skin, these guys are seriously rude. PIzza was good. Not amazing… good. Would I stop again… sure. IF I had cash and was in the area.

One of the best pizza joints in Milwaukee! The crust is just right. The toppings are generous, and the prices are fair for what you get. don’t be put off by the location just phone first to make it an in and out kind of stop.

Wow, is all I have to say. Hup’s pizza is so delicious. I have gone there many late nights by myself, risking my life for their delicious thin crust, cheese, sausage, mushroom, onion pizza. It is literally to die for. If you live in the area, I highly recommend delivery. This is take out or delivery only. Be sure to call ahead. This is definitely one of Milwaukee’s best unknown pizza places.

This is one of the best pizza places in Milwaukee. The neighborhood is really ghetto so be careful. They just have a walk-​in area for take-​out so no sit-​down. Pizza is thin crust.
