This public art defies the standard definitions, it’s not really an art gallery, some artists have created an art installation that turns historic Mitchell Street itself into a public art space using personal history for context. Like all art, this has to be experienced in person. Hop on a bicycle or take the 80 bus down to Mitchell, starting at 723 West Mitchell with your phone. You need to be observant, the art is small to large, blending into the buildings. It’s a sort of artistic scavenger hunt as the different locations couple with personal stories, remembrances, you listen to one at a time by telephone. Then have lunch or dinner at Anmol or Supermercado El Rey.
