Only stopped in for a couple beers but was surprised by how nice it was inside. I was expecting a corner bar look but the décor was decent. Talked to some regulars who really spoke highly of the food. I have to get back and do a taste test.

A friend introduced me to this place. I met him for a beer first, $ 3.50 for a pint of a German import! Then went back a few weeks later to meet him and another friend of his for lunch. The bar had a cool north woods sports bar vibe to it, and the dining room has been recently remodeled and looks bright, clean, and welcoming. There is also a back room with high top tables and a pool table. Maybe you can book a private party in it. The menu features wings, pizza on 6 and 12 inch crusts, burgers, sandwiches, and Serbian food options such as burek, cevap, and other grilled meats made from scratch by the owner, Peter, who is Serbian. We split a meat and cheese burek($ 11.95) and a combination Serbian platter of grilled meats including cevap, marinated pork loin, and Serbian sausage($ 14.95). It was served with a loaf of fresh baked bread and spreads of Kajmak(a mix of cheeses) and Ajvar(made with roasted red pepper) for the bread. The Kajmak and Ajvar were amazing! I could just eat those two items with the fresh bread all day! With the nearby Fritz’s Pub now only open for a few hours on Friday and Saturday, Moonshine Pub is open daily for lunch and dinner, and ready to fill the void left by Fritz’s new, reduced hours. Moonshine Pub features specials every day, including a Friday Fish Fry, Tuesday $ 1.00 tacos and nachos, and $ 10 for a pitcher of beer and 10 wings on Wednesdays. You can park on the side street or in the parking lot behind the pub. Check it out!
