Welcome to Pick N Save’s largest store. More than 130,000 square feet filled with more than $ 8 million of merchandise, an experience worth coming to see. We came the first week it was opened about five years ago and haven’t been disappointed. First the bad, we’ve been ‘panhandled’ three times in its earlier days and two more times I actually came to the rescue of stunned customers before getting the manager each time. It’s the good that overwhelms you as it should with the largest selection of groceries and«up fronts» anywhere in this vast chain. You will be surprised by the meat, fish, deli, hot foods and bakery departments plus the extensive selection of canned goods and frozen items. There is even a whole section of bulk foods to amaze you. Warning however, you could get lost inside! Two things generally lacking are limited personnel to help you and the always«never enough manned cashiers» open. I can’t understand why a business that has you on site, wouldn’t want to have human contact. So much for customer service. Chairman Bob are you listening? Maybe that’s why Pick N Save was voted fifth worst major grocery chain in America in a recent Consumer’s Report survey. No matter what its faults, this for us IS Pick N Save’s best store. Now if only they would order paper bags with handles!!!
