They NEVER answer the phone. Horrible customer service. If your busy that’s great but hire more people if you can’t keep up with calls. You have a lot of competition who actually answer the phone. Are Sunday nights really that crazy?!?

The pizza is quite good. The wrap that my wife had must have been really good, because she was going on about it during the evening I’d like to see more choices out for slices. Even one special of the day would be great. A pleasant place to sit and talk while you are eating. Beer would ace it!

The pizza is subpar. With so many pizza places in the area, Strada wouldn’t be my first choice for pizza though it is very affordable. Their sandwiches looked to be good and some of their salads sounded good. Fries are extra so if they ask, «Fries, ok?» you are paying extra for them. They come in full orders or half orders. I’ll be back for a sandwich of salad.

Love love love love Strada! — After finally making it a point to get down there for some Zaaaa on carry out I was wowed by both how tasty the slices and was shocked when two big slices with complimentary rolls only cost a little over $ 8! — Tasty, cheap eat are a score in my book. :) — The cheese has a nice sharpness to it from the blend they use and it’s a perfect match with their sauce. — I can’t speak to the rest of their menu since I’m there for the pizza, but as a pizza lover who has had just about everything MKE has to offer I thought Strada stood out. Yum!

I’ve only been here once so I’m leaving room for more experiences and more stars. The staff is really cool here — very friendly. Have them walk you through their menus the first time because they have more than just pizza by the slice. One menu is all about sandwiches, salads, wraps, etc which is great if you want pizza, but your friend is in the mood for something else. I just went for a quick slice of pizza while I was here. It was a massive, New York style slice, and it comes with a garlic knot. Now the garlic knot wasn’t overly greasy which was good, but with that, it definitely could have used some dipping sauce. The pizza was decent, something good if you’re in the need for a quick slice(I think it was about $ 4). I think the draw might be their specialty pizzas and other menu items which I will have to come back and try.

We’ve been to Strada twice now — once for dine-in lunch and tonight for pizza delivery. Both were great experiences. Delivery is FREE which is fantastic! We live Walker’s Point and they delivered in about 30 minutes. The Team Lazzio pizza was delicious and arrived fresh and hot. Their pizza sauce is above average and won’t disappoint. They have lots of pizza options so I’m sure we’ll try a few more.

Okay. Seriously. They get a star just for turning that sketchy little hole-in-the-wall location(RIP Mr Webo’s) into a totally respectable dining establishment. Then you add in the fact that they have espresso(and they don’t offer decaf, because that crap shouldn’t exist) AND the part about pizza fries. We don’t even need to talk about the pizza. You should already be convinced to eat here.

A little late on this one, as my first and only visit(so far) was last month. This place is TINY!!! I think that there were 9 of us using 3 tables and we barely fit, so, take that into account if you’re planning a group meet-up here. They don’t take reservations, either. I can’t speak for anything other than the Buffalo Pie, as it’s called. It was cut into 8 large pieces and was delicious! The first thing I tasted was the blue cheese and it was perfect! Next came the buffalo sauce and it, too, was quite awesome… not overly spicy, not overwhelming anything on the pizza, just a pleasant partner with the blue cheese. The fatter crust was a little too chewy for my liking, but only around the edge, where the sauce didn’t quite hit. I felt that there could have been a little more chicken on the pizza, but this wasn’t something that would keep me from returning. All in all, it was a great tasting pie and I plan on coming back to try a few of their other offerings. 64÷2015÷158

I’m feelin’ pretty lucky that it’s just a short stride-a to Strada from my humble abode. (Hey-oh!) See, this spot’s pretty fab when it comes to snagging something that’s quick, affordable, and delicious. Yes, they’re all about pizza, but they’re also all about burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and coffee. $ 17.99 for a full-size chicken ranch salad, a BBQ chicken wrap and some chili cheese fries, because sometimes you want to eat your feelings. The guy working was so super nice, and the whole call-in/take-out process? Maybe 15 minutes. I went and got a bottle of wine at Siegel’s, then swung over to Strada, because I wanted to try this spot for the first time and also, sometimes you drink your feelings with to-go food from somewhere on your couch, too. No booze, no problem. Just FYI! Free shipping, like Ryan H said.(Also, let’s get him to come out of Unilocal retirement for good because he’s funny.)

I’m coming out of Unilocal retirement for this place because I want to make sure people eat here. FULLDISCLOSURE: I’ve had everything but the pizza. I can say… I love their salads, and I’m a very manly dude with a large beard. Very large, LIKE their salads… The burgers are great too, I’ve only had nacho inferno burger and the veggie burger, but those were both great so I’m using my context clues on this one. Lets not forget about the wraps, this place has better wraps than Drake, I know thats not saying much but just eat here. Very affordable. VERY. Also, they’ve got free shipping. Which is just rad. This place is exactly what Bay View needed and I shouldn’t say that, because my girlfriend said that in her review and she said I couldn’t use anything she said in mine. But she was actually right this time.

Strada has a lot of potential. Though the name is «Strada Pizza» and they indeed, sell pizza, the menu is much broader than that. They’ve got salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps and wings too — and they deliver, which kind of makes them the«Pizza Shuttle» of Bay View. We came in for Rick R’s UYE and most people in our group ordered fresh pizzas. I would definitely recommend going that route, as I went with a premade sausage slice and it was pretty«meh». Even after being reheated a bit there wasn’t much flavor and everything was pretty dried out. I’d second Rick’s comments on the«wide» crust — heavier saucing might help. If you’ve been in the space before you know that it’s quite small, so Strada is a good option for take-out or to grab a bite with 1 – 2 other people. That said, they’ve really made some nice changes to the inside. The service here was great — the workers genuinely seem to care about delivering a good experience. My verdict — if you want slice pizza, Classic Slice is doing it WAY better. Come here for a fresh pizza or to try one of the many other menu options.

First… I would given a 3.5. People working here, really, really nice– that some goes a really long way. Ordered a slice of pizza and a side salad. The pizza wasn’t «knock-you-out“good, but it was good. I also thought it was a great value. Great place to pop in if your in a rush, but don’t want too fast of food. Also, it’s really, really clean. It’s just guys working, but the women’s bathroom sparkled-impressive. I will be back to explore more of the menu.

Visited with a group of Unilocalers. The available slices behind the glass wall didn’t look appealing, and we decided to order various whole, fresh pies. All of them looked great when they arrived at the table, including a Buffalo Chicken, Lasagna, BMT(Basil, Mozz, & Tomato — similar concept to a Margherita pizza), and Roma’s Greatest with sausage, pepperoni, spiced salami, and mushrooms. I shared a 20″ Roma’s Greatest with two other Unilocalers. It was cut into 8 large slices. The mushrooms looked to be fresh, the sausage pieces were on the smaller side, and the spiced salami was cut into very small square pieces. The sauce was sweet, which I normally like, but it didn’t work well on my taste buds with the pepperoni, salami and sausage. The meat toppings weren’t that spicy so a slightly spicy sauce may have complemented them better. The sausage wasn’t bad, but didn’t have the bold flavor I usually get from Italian sausage. The crust was perfectly baked, with a light crispy texture, but I thought too much of the crust was uncovered. There was almost 2 inches of crust around the perimeter with neary a drop of sauce or spec of cheese. The sauce in general was lightly applied. The $ 24 price tag is debatable. My pizza mates seemed to enjoy the pizza very much, and the others also enjoyed the pizzas they ordered. The garlic knots that we ordered(and come with individual slices) were excellent. They had a light buttery and garlic taste with a perfect combination of soft and crispy textures. I liked my meal enough to go back and try another pizza, but I won’t order Roma’s Greatest again. That one just didn’t work for me. The venue is very small, so plan accordingly if you want to go in with a group. The staff was very accomodating and eager to ensure a positive dining experience, so I the service alone is a good reason to visit. They mentioned some remodeling plans to try and seat more diners, including use of the patio, so watch for that in the future.

Whenever I hear Strada, I think Estrada, and I picture Eric Estrada eating a slice of pizza and then I want pizza. Well played Strada. Funny enough, I have yet to try Strada’s pizza, but I am a huge fan of their multitude of other offerings! I am a non meat eater, so I love that I can order a veggie burger to go here and it’s a damn good burger! Also, their salads are large in portion, hearty in fillings, and very reasonably priced. As well, they have slices of pizza ready for you to take home that always look super delish. Delicious food, fair prices, and the employees are beyond friendly! I will definitely keep giving my business to Strada!

Actually really solid New York style pizza. We decided to stop by here on our way home from The Highbury Pub right across the street. The staff are really friendly and the menu is full of unique pizzas and items. We decided to get a 16′ sausage and spinach pizza. Strada also offers pizza by the slice, similar to Ian’s Pizza, which is perfect for the drunk night owls who are wondering the streets of Bay view hungry. Really digging the soft doughy crust. Definitely will be back. This area needed a solid pizza parlor. Highbury Pub, Anodyne, Colectivo, and now Strada. I’m definitely going to move over to Bay view from the Eastside in the next few years… Yay Strada! Once I try different items other than pizza on the menu i’ll update my review~!

Typically I try to give a place a few tries before I rate them so unfortunately Strada Pizza for now only gets three stars until I can return again. Based on what I ate today I will bet that this place will hit the four star mark when I return. Strada will finally start their delivery service 3⁄28 or maybe 3⁄27 so you can taste test their food from your home. I honestly wasn’t in the pizza mood… you are asking yourself why the heck did I stop at a pizza place then? The sandwiches piqued my interest so I ran with the chipotle turkey with avocado and swiss which was quite tasty and not bad for $ 7. You don’t get any sides with sandwiches but this was filling by itself. The pizza by the slice looked okay. They had 5 different varieties available which are served with a knot bread roll. The slices are smaller than Classic Slice but also are much cheaper. The menu doesn’t do the place justice because there are many options that are not listed. They can substitute a black bean burger for the hamburgers and they also have gluten free and vegan options available. A restaurant in Bay View should be shouting that on their menu because these are very popular options… also I told them that Bay View has a space and isn’t spelled Bayview so I hope they correct that on their next menu… sounds trite but trust me others will point this out. Strada is serving grass fed hamburgers which according to them are delivered daily. They are serving fresh ingredients but my only knock was that they don’t make their own salad dressings. Personally, I have an extreme aversion to bottled Ranch dressing so I hope they eventually move to home made which is cheaper for them and tastes much better than bottled. The service was impeccable… granted it was me and another customer but the gentleman behind the counter was very passionate about the business. He may have been one of the owners because he knew the menu and many other things. I recommended that he might want to add turkey burgers to the menu as well as the other items that I stated above. He was very receptive to the input. PS — If you are looking for booze this place doesn’t have a liquor license which is okay because it is more deli style… you can get delivery and have your beer at home you Wisconsin lush!

Stopped by this gem this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. I will be the first to admit that I was one of those Bay View-ans who wasn’t too excited to hear that a pizza place would be taking over the old Mr. Webos space(which, I never visited btw)… I mean, we’ve got Classic Slice on one end and Transfer at the other end of Bay View(neither of which I like…), and then you’ve got Toppers right across the street… But, I had seen they were opening and the menu was taunting me at work all day so I called my order in. The guy on the phone was nice and didn’t judge me when I called back and changed my mind about pick up vs just eating there. I come in to the restaurant and was warmly greeted by the manager(Shero?) who told me my food was ready and then brought it out to me. I had ordered a cup of the soup of the day(poblano!) and ordered the 12′ Team Lazio. BIGMISTAKE! The bowl of poblano was AMAZING. There are many times when you order something and have an idea of what it will taste like in your mind, only to be disappointed at the result. This was not the case. It was very rich, and delicious. I don’t have an extensive enough of a vocabulary to describe what I experienced. It was just that good. It also came with a warm, fresh garlic knot on the side. By the time I had finished there was not enough space to eat much of the pizza, but I managed to fit a slice in my belly. It was good. I love the ricotta and basil in it, however the seasoned lasagna beef was the star of this pizza. The chunks were small enough to chew, but big enough to experience it as a meal on its own. They have an assortment of drinks(bottled water, tea, juices), and don’t offer the generic coke machine which I appreciate. I would, however like to see a recycling bin there since they have only cans and bottles for drinks(save the earth!). Lastly, the service was great. I felt very attended to, it was almost like being a part of the family there: walk in, they ask how I’m doing, crack some jokes. There was never a moment where I felt like my needs had not been met. The manager made sure I had a great experience and that effort did not go unnoticed!

We stopped in on Strada’s opening night. They menu is fantastic: pizza by the slice or a whole pie, Cobb salad, chili cheese fries… and they delivery in Bay View. The window counter offers great people watching. The slices had enough cheese and toppings, solid, crunchy thin crust. Will be back. We have called a few times for delivery since they opened and no one ever answers the phone :-/

Stop in for a slice or get a whole pie. They have multiple topping options and specialty pizzas. They have a big menu with salads, sandwiches and wraps. Free delivery too! Prices are reasonable and I will be returning.
