Would be 5 stars if they gave you rice and did not charge $ 2 bucks each time you want some rice as a side!!! Food rocks and it’s very authentic and reasonable short of nickel and diming you!

Was in Milwaukee visiting my sister and had dinner here with 6 other friends. Had reservations and was seated right away. The service here is great and the vibe is really hip and cool. Portions are huge; started with edamame, sea weed salad and 2 orders of fresh spring rolls and it was enough for all of us! I ordered the dragon maki and my sister ordered the kamikasi roll. What an awesome surprise to see a dragon made out of the sauces on our platter! I did not expect to get such a beautiful work of art; too pretty to eat! But alas we had to dig in and it was very good. My BIL ordered nigiri and sashimi and if it wasn’t good and fresh he would not have eaten it: his plate was empty! The other guest ordered traditional Thai and Asian dishes like basil beef, a sweet and sour type dish and teriyaki chicken. I thought those dishes were just ok. I was here before and got their Tom yum soup and drunken noodles and that was really tasty; so I know they can do those Thai dishes right. I would definitely come back again when I’m in Milwaukee!

Damn, Thai-Namite. I just stopped in for a quick sushi roll, and you busted out this frame-worthy sauce dragon. The red dragon roll *was* pretty tasty, but even if it had an Akita turd in it I would have felt obliged to give it at least four stars for presentation. Slow clap.

The best Thai food in the city. A great place for a date, a lunch or some takeout for dinner back home. I love this spot and go a few times a month cuz I can’t get enough of their Pad Thai and Crab Rangoon!

I have an addiction and it is a new drug called Thai-Namite! Recently moved closer to Brady St. so we decided to walk the up hill both ways journey a total of one block to the local Thai spot. I am in love and go through withdrawals 2 – 4 times a week. Big stickler for service which is what most of the reviews tend to mention as sub par. This always worries me but I am willing to put myself in harms way for some good food if necessary. We stopped by right at 6pm on a Friday and the place was starting to fill up but we were sat almost immediately. The waitress came and provided us with plenty of information and even had some suggestions since it was our first time. I am scared of heat due to my Scandinavian background, so I tend to be very weary of the chili pepper logo that is so perfectly located next to the dish names on the menu. The nice thing about the menu is that you can choose the heat level of your food and it is fairly spot on. I have had light heat and high heat dishes that have ultimately been very different and give you a great opportunity to try all of the dishes. For apps we have had the crab rangoons which have been spot on with a nice little sauce. The Sweet Basil and Panang Curry were both spot on and delicious. I am pretty picky about my curry but the Pangang with Tofu was really good and the veggies were crisp to my delight. The Sweet Basil was ordered with shrimp and proved equally delicious to the Panang. We have gone twice now and the service, food, quality, and environment have left us wanting more!!! This is my spot on Brady St.

My friends give me a hard time because I only ever order one thing here, but why mess with perfection? There food is wonderful and I am constantly craving it! My only complaint is that the restaurant is a little small, but you can’t really fault a place for that! They let you leave your number and they call you when your table is ready so you can go grab a beer at one of the many fine establishments Brady Street has to offer! I’m moving downtown in a few weeks and I can’t wait to try out their delivery option! Service is friendly, prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious! You can’t go wrong!

Thai-Namite has a cheerful, modern atmosphere. I suggest trying the Yellow Curry with Tofu and udon noodles. It was recommended to me by staff because I was having a hard time choosing between the drunken noodle and the curry. GREATPORTIONS! Staff is helpful and friendly! I have never had a bad experience with Thai-Namite. Seating can be uncomfortable at times, but that’s due to preference.

A friend and I went here for dinner and I can say I have had way better pad Thai and was sadly disappointed. No flavor and I was so overwhelmed by the peanuts eggs and tofu I just made the dish dry. I will not be going back on the future.

I love the wrapapadthai. I order it often when I am in the area. The portion is massive. But I wouldn’t recommend coming here for sushi, as they are very Americanized options– if I’m ordering sushi I want it to be sushi, not something smothered in sauces and covered up by all sorts of ingredients.

Alien had Wrap a Pat Thai and Green Curry. Alien loved both! Pat Thai here is rich and thick, stirred with a plenty amount of oil. It goes great with the thin omelet Sweet sauce, chewy rice noodles, and succulent shrimps. Yum yum! Alien am satisfied with the additional $ 2 for shrimps. They put many shrimps in Alien’s Pat Thai. Alien ordered medium spicy green curry, and it was yummy but very hot! Be careful if you don’t enjoy hot meals! This place was very busy, and so many people walk by Alien’s table. Alien wish to enjoy the good meals in a bit more quiet space.

Thainamite is one of my go-to comfort food meals in the city. Something about it all way warms you up on even the coldest winter nights. Tom kha chicken soup has the best broth and its absolutely a recent addition to my cold cure arsenal. The drunken noodles are a fantastic combination of great flavors are awesome textures. Lastly, their yellow curry has been my favorite since I started coming here. It has such a great flavor and its consistently spot-on! Ambiance and service are A-ok, it’s really all about the food. Also, the option for delivery is really glamorous.

Probably some of the best Thai food I’ve gotten to eat in a long while! Will definitely have to check it out again when I’m in the area. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. The only negative is the venue itself. The restaurant is small and not very conducive to large groups but I guess you can’t do anything about that.

I usually like this place but am really disappointed. After waiting 45 past the estimated delivery time, I called to see where my order was. They said they thought it was pickup. I said, no delivery as I always deliver. They said that they didn’t have my information on file which doesn’t make sense because every time I order, they ask for my address. They insisted that it was for pickup. If that is so, then why did they ask for my address. After another 10 minutes of being put on hold and finally talking to the manager, I asked for new food to be delivered.(by the way, how would they not notice that food for pickup has been sitting there for over 45 minutes?) When I got my food delivered a half an hour later, it was obvious that they did not remake food. They agreed to so this. I know for a fact that they did not because I order from here a lot. I know that when I order spring rolls or crab rangoon, they are hot and crisply. Not these. They were luke warm and soggy. The rest of the entrees were luke warm too, including the rice. So now I waited a total of close to 2 hours for food that they said would take a half hour. I called to talk to the manager again and she insisted that the food was remade. It was NOT. They tried to point blame on me because they thought it was pickup(again, then why would they need my address) and lied to me about the food being re made. NOTGOODCUSTOMERSERVICEANDNOTGOODFORTHEIRREPUTATION. Damnit, after a long day, I just wanted to relax with a nice meal.

5⁄5 for being a vegetarian friendly place! My husband and I LOVE thai food! When walking in, I didn’t think this place would serve authentic thai food but I was 100% wrong. We tried their Tom Yum soup, fried tofu, drunken noodles, and their mixed vegetable sushi! All were amazing. The mixed vegetable maki was definately the best vegetarian maki I have had in the midwest. Our server was also great because she went out of her way to make sure I had vegetarian food! Great food and awesome service!

Quick service and decent food. If you are looking for authentic Thai or sushi there are better places to go in Milwaukee. If I order from here it’s usually out of convenience. I get the wrap-a-pad thai and sometimes a sushi roll. In traditional thai you can give them a number on a heat scale for how spicy you want your dish. The last time I ordered from Thainamite I got a spice level 2 and it was completely inedible. The spice was just pure heat and no flavor. I can handle heat, but this was not even enjoyable. I would recommend adding your own hot sauce if you do choose to eat here.

Thom-Kha Chicken Soup. If I don’t write anything else, that soup would be enough to say you must go! This delicious soup is just a creamy bowl of flavor. A coconut base with chunks of chicken, cabbage and mushroom, it melds perfectly together. January or July, you must try this soup! Don’t forget your other Thai staples and for the sushi lover, there’s plenty to choose from.

After living in the area for about five years, I’ve finally made my way over to Thai-Namite. It left me with a resounding«meh.» My favorite part of Thai-Namite? The service. Our waitress was phenomenal and the other waitstaff was as well! Whenever anyone noticed we needed anything – our assigned waitress or not – it was promptly attended to, which is something I rarely see. Kudos, well done. Confession time: I’m not a huge Thai food fan, so I ordered sushi. I ordered their New York roll, which consists of eel, avocado, and eel sauce. I absolutely love eel sauce, but for the first time in my life, I think I had too much of it on my plate. The interior of the roll was mainly avocado, and I didn’t really sense the eel. All that said, it tasted alright. I also got an ika sashimi, which unfortunately was the low point in my visit. I’m all about ika, but this was… weird. It was oddly dry and a different texture than I’m used to. Ugh. No. My man friend seemed pretty pleased with his meal, and he is a repeat customer. He recommends the curry dishes. I’ll probably return, since he’s a fan, but I’ll get something that isn’t sushi.

Thainamite I miss you already! I was in town visiting college friends and grabbed a late dinner with one of them. Being on Brady Street, it didn’t matter how late it was, the place was hopping and the tables were full. We were seated quickly and I ordered the thom-kha soup to start. A steaming, colorful bowl of fresh deliciousness was placed before me. I have never had a soup where the ingredients were so fresh and colorful. My friend was envious and ordered his own quickly. I might have whimpered a bit when I got to the last spoon. I can still taste it while I write this review! I wish I could tell you what my friend ordered for dinner, but when my red chicken curry and brown rice came I kind of forgot about him. Large pieces of chicken smothered in curry sauce, fresh veggies peeking out, poured over the sticky rice– I was in heaven. It warmed my hands down to my feet in the cold Milwaukee winter. Even my heart began to thaw that Sunday night. Thainamite, you are dynamite and on my list of ‘must’ see places next time I am in town!
