Given how popular their sausages and meats are, I expected this deli to serve up a solid reuben. So disappointed. Meat is rubbery and bland. Sauce and bread taste cheap. Somehow no kraut? Coleslaw even questionable. How does a deli not get coleslaw right? Tolerable for choking down a meal before a flight but I won’t be back. Especially for the airport price tag.

Terrible service — can’t get anyone here to take an order. And employees are totally unaware of pretty much everything happening at the restaurant. Better to go to Nonnas right next door. There aren’t many options in the D concourse so it’s too bad that this is what they have. Food is greasy.

I did not like the chili that was served at this restaurant. very poor quality and weird taste. The server Pinky was not very personable and she forgot someone’s whole order of food! Not cool. Slow service and I would never eat here again most likely sorry to say!

10 dollars for 20 cheese curds, wow I will never eat at this place again lousy service and way too expensive for what you get as a road warrior stay a way from this place go to Johnny rockets instead

Pretty disappointing chopped salad. For a city know for processed meat they basically just sliced hunks of pre-sliced salami and cheese and threw it on the side, the slices still stuck together. I think they also didn’t bother chopping up the lettuce, so it was in sizes suited to be topped on a hamburger. not salad size. I guess I was too stupid to not order processed meat or nachos. The server was at least nice and they do server unsweeted green and black tea. so not a total failure. It would have been nice to have power plugs too.

Worst service ever, don’t go if you’re in a hurry. Employees just standing around while customers waiting to order. Be aware when you order to specify if you want it fresh otherwise they just pull it from the stuff that’s been sitting there.

For airport dining, it could be worse. The service wasn’t bad, but the problem is that the cluster of three restaurants here are staffed by a subcontract. We happened to get a good waitress, but the supervisor had to go find her first. We did see some poor service around us, I wouldn’t choose any of the three if I were in a hurry. The Usinger products are, of course, pretty good, but the sandwich choices and sides end up being too greasy-fatty for getting on a long flight. I did like the cheese curds, but since I’m lactose intolerant I regretted them later. The area provides for a place to sit down with your luggage and relax for a bit before heading to the gate for some more waiting, kind of a an area to practice waiting for your real departure wait.

Really bad service, bad attitude from Crystal. Bad system for ordering. I waited in line while the person who took the order of the people in front of me stopped made their coffee, and ignore me the whole time. Other servers were coming and going ignoring all the other customers. Then she took my order and told me my food would take a little while and wanted to make sure that was OK. I said it was but after if I could have my coffee right away and she just said no. No explanation. I said no she? She said no you’re going to have to wait until I have time while I take care of all these other customers, indicating the people behind me.

I needed a little something before enduring a long day of flight hopping and there weren’t a lot of options in my terminal. I really wasn’t feeling Johnny Rockets, so I went for this place. They had some nice options, but I kept it pretty basic with a turkey wrap and coleslaw. The chick at the counter was friendly, though incredibly hard to understand. The rest of the staff was questionable. I looked around and saw people carrying on in a rude way, one kid eating out on the«dining» floor. There wasn’t anyone there, but holy hell… did that food take a long time. I’m patient, but that was crazy. Around 20 minutes for something that was served cold. It was just weird to me. The stuff was okay. Definitely over priced, but I was at an airport. I wouldn’t get food here again, if given the option. Don’t do it if you’re in a rush.

Pricey. Bad service. I had the Brat and it was nothing special. My wife did the turkey roll and hated it. I might try the one downtown but never the one at the airport again.

The food was decent for an airport, but if you don’t have a lot of time to waste then skip it or get one of the pre-made items(wraps/sandwiches). Ordered a chili to go and it took literally 20 minutes to get it. They weren’t even busy. Felt bad for the guy waiting for his food before we ordered ours and was still waiting when we left.

Very slow. I intended to dine in, but after waiting 25 minutes for a burger, had to ask for it to go.

Terrible slow service! Cheese curds were $ 10 and half was potato chips! Rip off. Save your money.

Reuben sandwich was terrible. Little to no sauerkraut and NO thousand island dressing. Meat was dry. Bread was soggy. Can live with 1 or 2 of those things in exchange for convenience but not all 4. Do not buy anything out of the cold case. The service matched the sandwich. Waited patiently while employee restocked napkins and utensils… after making eye contact twice and askingfor help I walked and got the attention of another employee who helped the first employee understand she needed to help people at the counter. There are other options in the terminal. …I recommend taking advantage of them.

If you’re looking for a stiff drink go elsewhere. Paid $ 24 for two double rum and sodas that tasted like nothing but soda. Could have just gone to a vending machine.

Not bad for grabbing a bit to eat at the MKE airport. We each had a breakfast burrito and were pleasantly surprised with how tasty & fresh tasting they were. I will say that I’m glad we had plenty of time to spare prior to take-off, as we did wait a bit to receive our food. Still, I’d give them another go the next time I’m there.

Ordered a Reuben here, presentation was fantastic, looked great and then I discovered that they serve adulterated Reuben’s. For some unknown reason this place seems to believe that a Reuben is half corned beef, and half processed chicken/turkey meat food product. While the corned beef was surprisingly good, the mystery filler meat was not, nor did it have any reason to be in a sandwich called a Reuben. However the mystery meat made me decide not to finish this«Reuben». They also included a package of yellow mustard, also something you normally don’t see on a real Reuben. Granted if they want to make a sandwich like a Reuben but put some sort of foul meat in addition to the corned beef, thousand island dressing and sauerkraut, so be it, but don’t call it a Reuben, it’s not. Call it the Clucker Reuben or some other clever marketing name to get people to accept it. I understand the filler meat, to cut costs, but this is an over $ 10 sandwich, why on earth are you adulterating it with processed turkey or chicken? Oh that’s right you are an airport concession and you have a captive audience to fleece in quality and price. Makes me wonder what else they are doing, and I am glad I didn’t try any of the sausage or product where the average person doesn’t know the contents. This place belongs at an airport, it is a ripoff, I should have known better, but was conned by way they made it look like it was just a branch of a local restaurant that might have good food instead of the usual airport concession ilk. Stay away, you can do better buying the crap they sell on the airlines now.

For airport fare, you could do worse. I was on a brats & cheese curds tour this week in Milwaukee, but no curds here. The brat wasn’t bad, but it was like something you might get at a sportsball game. Same with the potato salad. It hit the spot as I waited for my delayed flight.

FANTASTIC Sausages! We received excellent service both times we ate at this little place. The beers were ice-cold and the selection was ample, especially for an airport restaurant. I’m not sure what all the bad reviews are about, since I didn’t read them, but I didn’t find anything to bitch about. The house-made chips were crispity, crunchity, and delicious. Next time I’m flying out of Mili-Wah-Kay, I will get to the airport an hour early just so I can grub here.

I had a 1 ½ hour layover at Milwaukee airport, it was past dinner time so I was hungry, but I wasn’t in the mood for the usual airport fare — cold sandwiches, pizza or fast food burgers and fries. I came across Usinger’s, which appears to be a restaurant operated here at the airport by a local Milwaukee sausage and meat company. I didn’t go for their sausage offerings, as I still had a few hours of flights and car travel before I reached my destination and I didn’t want to subject anyone to the horrible gas that certainly would’ve resulted if I’d eaten sausage. I settled on their grilled beef n’ cheddar sandwich, which was billed as «freshly sliced Usinger’s roast beef with Wisconsin cheddar cheese, topped with horseradish mayo». This sandwich was $ 8 and came with their house potato chips. After waiting about 5 minutes for my sandwich to be ready, I was a bit disappointed in it. While it was OK, I’ve had similar sandwiches from other restaurants which made me want to grab another for the road or at least return back on my next visit to have another. The one I had here was pretty tasteless overall, was served on standard bread slices so it wasn’t very large and there weren’t many chips served with it, so I walked away unimpressed and unsatisfied, wondering if the lack of taste was worth the calories considering the cheese and mayo that came on the sandwich, and the butter or whatever fat they grilled it in. I’ll probably try this restaurant again if passing through this airport in the future, as it seems to be the only local offering in this concourse and they do offer a fairly wide variety of sandwiches and some other foods, but will definitely try something else on my next visit.
