One of the principles practiced by my favorite Unilocalers is to compare like with like. But this gas station plaza is unique, the only similar kind of place are the oases on interstate-tollways. This complex is the best fuel stop on the south side of Milwaukee until well into Oak Creek, but it’s not really close enough to I-94 to be considered right off the expressway. Still, it’s worth the few blocks, especially if you’re headed to or from the National Café, the Harley-Davidson Museum, the Iron Horse Hotel, the Summerfest grounds, downtown and heading south, Bayview, or Walker’s Point. Decent automated carwash, powerful car vacs, reasonable gasoline prices with lots of pumps, very well lit, varying fast food choices, a Mobil with surprisingly palatable snack and coffee choices, yet it’s not just a good stop when driving. There’s a nearby bicycle shop, Coast in Bikes, I sometimes get my tire air in here. A couple of county bus lines pass through here. The only downside is that there are always some panhandlers and some are aggressive. They need some bike racks.

Car wash nice for any vehicle and touch free. Costs about $ 6 with a fill. The gyro restaurant isn’t too bad either and where else can you find a brewery across the street from such a great gas station.

Easy access from Water St. or 2nd ! It’s a great convenience to have so many needs in one spot at the Walker’s Point Plaza. Gas, wine, greek food, Italian with homemade chocolates and more! Also there is air and a car wash. The gas price sign is nice and bright — easy to read. Glad it’s here!

Walkers Point Plaza is the spot! This little complex has held me down for the past 9 months of field work and catching the bus through this area on the regular. The Mobile station has helped me out with my french vanilla cappuccino addictions, the McDonald’s has come through with their breakfast chicken biscuit with cheese and a large coffee… Café India is in this complex and supplies me with lunch, and the taxi cab company that we have transport clients is housed here. Kinda my go-to.
