Roma Italian Bistro

A friend of ours recommended Roma to us. We liked the décor of the building. The eggplant was the best my wife had in years. The grilled chicken was good size portion and very well flavored. The deserts that all of us had was also great. We will be back next we go by Minden.

Visited some old friends from Dallas I had to stop by and enjoy one of southwest Dallas’ favorite eatery! I ordered the eggplant parm and my son the chicken marsala fabulous! Great food and service even in LA keep up the great work Roma!

Great pizza and salads! Amazing Eggplant Parmagania. Good service. Generous portions and consistent preparation. Will return again and again.

This is great restaurant inside a remodeled historic bank building that is very nice. The food is great and I’ve had several dishes so far. The shrimp or chicken fettuccine Alfredo is great. The chicken Marsala is also good.
The service has also been good.
Extra parking is just across the street.

Decent food if it only had more seasoning. Enjoyed the building. I love the exposed brick and the layout of the restaurant. I would love to try to pizza that I saw on the menu. I will definitely being going back. Can’t wait.

Great place to eat.
We had Father’s Day lunch here. It was amazing. The food, the service. The only complaint is way too many doors open. Which is not really a complaint.

Best Italian I’ve had in a long time. I’d say it’s the best restaurant in town. The staff is super friendly and on the ball. The pizza isn’t authentic but it is still very good. The rest of the food was great the house salad dressing was spot on. Highly regarded

Minden has needed a great place like Roma Italian Bistro. The food is great, the staff are very attentive as well as knowledgeable of the menu. The Greek salad with grilled shrimp is amazing. This restaurant is great asset to Minden and we will definitely be coming back!

Took my mom here for dinner. The food was very good. This from a guy who grew up with a mother from an Italian neighborhood of the Bronx. Service was excellent. For a new restaurant the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely be back.

Tried lunch with 2 friends and we were all disappointed. I had the eggplant parmesan — which was so tuff I had to cut it with a knife, besides being so brown that it looked like a pork chop. The red sauce was tasteless, tried using salt, but that didn’t help. Then I tried the spaghetti with meat sauce — same story, the red sauce is tasteless. The best thing I can say about the food I ate was that it tasted like hospital food! And the bread that they brought to the table wasn’t cooked, it was like dough. I couldn’t pull it apart, so I sent it back for another batch. When it came out, it was indeed better. As for the previous comment I read that says it’s the best Italian restaurant in Minden, it’s the only Italian restaurant in Minden. My friends did not care for the tasteless food either, so I can only hope that the other items on the menu taste better.

We have been to Roma’s in Ruston and had a wonderful experience. Mindens Roma’s is one star less. We got the exact same menu as we did in Ruston minus the wine. The lobster ravioli is so good you want to pick up the bowl and lick it clean. The bread was hot and fresh. The salad was generic but fresh. The mozzarella sticks were piping hot. The unsweet tea is some of the best I’ve ever had. The 2 women’s commodes were full to the brim. And we felt rushed by our waitress. But damn good lobster ravioli!

Opening nite and everything was great. Easily the best Italian in Minden. Excellent food quality and portion size for the price. Had the Shrimp Alfredo and Chefs Special. The Shrimp Alfredo was better, but the Chefs Special was still very tasty. Big shrimp :). Looking forward to trying some of the other menu items especially the pizza. Take out is a plus. Welcome to Minden!!!
