I love coming here!!! Honestly, it’s pretty authentic even for it being super quick and kind of fast(ER) food. The huevos are very very good, and of course the super burrito, my personal fav :). Only thing is make sure to check your order when you drive thru I have been known to get the wrong order, but it’s still good even though I got the wrong thing!!!

I’ve only ever been to one other super burrito and it was a Reno location and I enjoyed it. But I came here and ordered a bean and cheese burrito. Not at all tasty, very very bland. And halfway through the cheese was no longer melted. I couldn’t get through the the cold center.

The Super Burrito’s in Carson City and Reno do a better job than the Minden location. I don’t know why the other locations seem to make the food better. I ate at Minden the other day and the beans were just warm and the burrito’s were small. I never experience that at the other restaurants. The Reno S.B. on Plumb ln. is the BEST!!!

Love this place! I could eat here everyday. Great burritos and friendly service. Now granted this is not a dine in place because they could use some serious décor help, but the drive through is fine by me.

Pork burrito was exactly what it should be for this super low-key taqueria. Salty, Mexican goodness with creamy refried beans. The chips, though, were so meh that I didn’t eat them– that’s a first for me. Salsa did not help them– salsa bar was not that great. The salsa was actually«authentic» in that it was really runny, but the flavor was mediocre(as was the horchata). I’d eat there again, as there were not many fast-but-not-fast-food options around for dinner, but skip the chips and Horchata.

This place is better than Taco Bell which is a good thing if you are looking for some Mexican fast food. I usually get the super burrito. Don’t make the mistake of ordering the super burrito meal that comes with rice and beans because the burrito itself is probably about eighty percent rice and beans plus whatever meat you selected. But I like their burritos. They are big, tasty and a great meal for the cost. I only give it three stars because it is fast food but I think it is the best Mexican fast food place for the money.

If you are looking for a good burrito place, like Chipotle, then drive right by this place. The food is mediocre at best, honestly I would rather eat food from Taco Bell, and I cant remember the last time I ate at Taco Bell. I went in and ordered two burritos and regular super burrito with chicken and a vegetarian super burrito. The lady that took the order almost walked away without letting my husband even order, she didnt even seem to acknowledge him. The orders in front of ours came out quickly but then we had to wait for several minutes. When our order did finally come out it came out at the same time as someone who ordered probably 5 minutes after us. We took our order to go and when we started eat it we found that they had mislabeled the burritos, so my husband ate half my burrito before he realized it wasnt his. We just did a switch and when he started to eat his he found that all his burrito was was a block of shredded cheese and a few pieces of lettuce, hardly any beans or guacamole and no tomatoes. luckily we were close by so we took it back to get a new one. The new one was done in literally 30 seconds so we figured that they must not of prepped enough ingredients which explains why we had to wait but not why they used a whole bunch of cheese as filler for everything else. If you are going to make someone wait at least make their food right. The burritos basically tasted like a can of refried beans with the pre-shredded bagged cheese like you get from walmart, with iceburg lettuce. There was nothing good about it, there was hardly any meat in the other burrito. We make better burritos at home. There is nothing special about this place or it’s food, like others have said their food lacks in flavor. We wont be going back ever again.

So, I come here a lot. I always order the super burrito with carne asada. Love it! Occasionally I order the plain nachos with the cheese on the side. The cheese poured on the chips makes them way too soggy. Today, for the first time ever, I was told that it would cost me $ 1.50 to have the cheese put in a separate container. What?! I was shocked! I would have paid a quarter extra, but not $ 1.50. Very disappointed! I still ordered my super burrito, but not the nachos. :(

My family has been going to Super Burrito for years. It is a cross between a fast food place and a sit down restaurant. If you are looking for ambiance, this probably isn’t the place for you. If you are looking for great authentic food at a great price, then you can’t go wrong with Super Burrito.

I go here almost everyday, for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. Yesterday I ordered a breakfast burrito with avocado. I got my burrito & noticed there was no avocado on it(they charge like $ 2). So I saved the receipt & went back this am. Wasn’t EXPECTING anything free, just would like a burrito with the replacement avocado on it. The lady was very rude & said I should have called. Like I was trying to shadily get a free burrito, dressed for work at 8am. Shocked. I’ve never had such a poor experience at a restaurant. Will NEVER go back sadly.

Good inexpensive takeout burrito’s. We were very tired after a long day of travel just wanted some good food to take back to our room. Good fresh fast food, many salsa to chose from. Two burrito’s and a six pack from down the street $ 20

Food is decent but the service is beyond shitty! The employees always seem like they are rushing you to order and when the are«nice», it seems fake. Oh and While they are rushing you through your order, it’s pretty dead so why the rush?

After seeing multiple commercials on local TV my husband and I decided to give them a try. Nothing better than good Mexican food, right? Well, we were both disappointed. I had a chile relleno meal. The relleno was OK but the sauce on it was some kind of gelatinous goo which reminded me of… oh, never mind. Hubby had a shredded beef enchilada which, even though shredded, was quite difficult to chew. We were both looking forward to large enough portions to be able to bring something home for a late snack. Didn’t happen! Their rice is really good-just not enough of it. Their refried beans taste like they came out of a can. I really wanted to love this restaurant. I go to Gardnerville/Minden fairly frequently and wanted to have a place to look forward to. This just isn’t it!

Cheap, Mexican fast food. Saw them on the side of the highway and was really hungry after a long day of driving. Asked how fresh the rellenos were and the cashier said made earlier than day. They were good for the price. Tortillas should always be served free with a combo plate, but I had to order them separately. Wife got tortilla soup which was okay too. It was quite busy near closing time on a Friday but everyone working was nice. Not sure what other options folks in Minden have, but it this seems like an okay place to stop if you need something cheap and fast.

It’s good quick American– Mexican style food. In all the times I’ve eaten there the staff has always been friendly and the salsas have all been fresh. The al pastor meat is excellent. A great place for lunch.

We just moved to town and I’ve seen a few location around. We love Mexican food and are determined to try as many places as we can. I was hoping this place would be like the Roberto’s, Filiberto’s, etc down in Vegas and Arizona. Unfortunately it was not. The tortillas were rubbery and the burrito was flavorless and way to many refried beans. It fell apart while trying to hold it. We each ordered a chili rellano burrito. The salsa bar was dirty and gross. Check this place off the list. We won’t return.

Does Minden need a fourth Mexican restaurant? It would be at least five if you counted Taco Bell, but I’m not doing that. Apparently the answer is, «Yes». Yesterday, for my first visit, I stopped in for a burrito and the place was jammed. There were only two parking spots available, and the seating inside was the same. This is always a good sign, and I don’t mind a crowd when it comes to eating good food. The folks I sat next to told me that they have already been several times, and that they really like the place. I ordered the vegetarian burrito for $ 4.45 and a coke, bringing my tab to over six dollars. Was it worth it? It was tasty, and I would not hesitate to return. The ingredients were fresh, and it was a ‘help yourself’ soda situation. They were real busy, and it wasn’t until I was leaving that I noticed a little salsa station where it looks like customers can help themselves to as much as they’d like. This is not a sit down and get waited on place. You order, find a seat, wait for your number to be called, and then you eat. The crowd caused this to take a while. I’ll be back, I’ll have some salsa, I’ll eat the veggie burrito again, and life will be good.
