:(the owner is so friendly and the convenient location can’t be beat. The place has 4 pedicure chairs (pretty dated) and 5 manicure tables. They also sell pocket books, bags, scarves, and jewelry.
Nonetheless, that doesn’t make up for the service. I should have turned around when I went to pick a color and almost all (no exaggeration) of the polishes had the old streaked look. Also, in the 30 minutes I was there I heard 2 women complain that their tips popped off. I spent $ 35 for the lavender pedicure, and I don’t feel that I got my money worth. Besides, my nail tech looked like she’d rather be five other places. The «extra massage» for this price was only 5 minutes per leg. Also, despite the told being disposable, she didn’t put a towel down for love you feet– the squish of moist community pleather under one’s soles is not a comforting feelings.

I love this nail salon. It’s pleasant, very clean and the staff is very nice. I go on my lunch hour and they always get me in and out quickly. It’s very relaxing and clean. I get the gel manicure and it’s wonderful. It really does last two weeks, sometimes I can go three. Also they don’t use an electric file to file off the old polish so my nails have not gotten damaged. I usually just have to soak briefly and thethe polish comes right off. My experiences here have been great.

After searching all of Mineola for a pleasant and clean salon, I’m happy to say that I finally found what I was looking for. Best Nails is a great salon — the staff is nice, and the salon is relaxing and very, very clean. My experience (pedicure and gel manicure) was excellent from start to finish. I will most definitely be going back!

Have been here a few times — brought a bridal party here before the bride’s bachelorette party (had a great time, every staff member in the salon was friendly and excited for the bride and they were great about handling our loud excitement and giddiness), and then I came on my own or with a friend 2 or 3 more times. Every time I go they are friendly, efficient, and they do a great job. And a manicure for $ 10, mani/pedi for $ 25? Awesommmmee! Don’t forget to bring cash if you’re just getting a mani… they’ll take your card if they have to, but they ask that you pay in cash if its less than $ 15 or something like that.

My wife went there for manicures in the past which were fine. Then was convinced to have a «gel» manicure. This was supposed to last two weeks. Threes days later the$ 35 manicure started to peel. Not to mention cuticles that began to fray. Do not go there.

I have been going to Kim for at least 5 years. She is wonderful and her staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The salon is exceptionally clean, quiet, and serene.
I normally go for my mani/pedi but Kim is also the only person I trust with my eyebrows. Prices are very reasonable and they never pressure you into buying extra treatments.

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to! The people are very attentive and they are very good at what they do. I get my mani/pedi here regularly, and they look beautiful every time.
My favorite part about this place is that they use an Autoclave machine (like the kind hospitals use to clean surgical equipment) to clean all their tools, so you know it’s extremely hygienic. They get cleaned in disposable pouches, and they open a new one for every customer!
But if you are going there I would definitely recommend the gel manicure. The polish comes out much shinier than regular manicure and there’s no drying involved so you can just walk out right away and stick your hand in your purse for your keys! It also lasts more then 2 weeks and they are chip-free so they stay perfect until you remove it.
Definitely the best salon in the area.
