With my hubs working late on Valentines day and walking dead at 9 pm we knew we couldn’t travel far lol… we live right down the block but we tend to never stay in the area to eat… seeing this place was reopened as another place and good reviews I figured hey lets give it a try… I knew it was nice inside from when it was Circa so seemed good… Anyway the food was amazing! The mozzarella was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life… Seriously I can’t stop telling everyone about it lol. The penne carbonara I couldn’t stop eating and my hubs food was amazing he was like I have to instagram this lol. We were so happy we came here and stayed in the area for Valentines day. We’ll definitely be back and really hope this place succeeds and stays open for a long long time!

This place is delicious! Went there for my first time tonight and the food and drinks were excellent. Pasta was fresh made and the desserts were out of this world. Service was spot on! Will definitely be going back again and soon!

The restaurant is BYFAR the BEST Italian restaurant I’ve been to. I went with a friend of mine last saturday night. We started the night off at the nice bar with a glass of wine each, loved the whole atmosphere and vibe of the place so decided to sit down and eat. I’m sure glad we did. It was such a great experience! From start to finish I loved everything. For appetizers we got the eggplant parm– PHENOMENAL! It was different than any other eggplant parm… it wasn’t fried it was baked and so so delicious. We also got the Burratta and prosciutto… and they had this AMAZINGAMAZING special that night… it was a fettuccine pasta with broccoli rabe pure and sausage… UNLIKE anything I’ve ever tried! For dinner we had the prosciutto wrapped shrimp and the cavatelli bolognese… I was stuffed but I couldn’t stop… it was sooo good. Everything is also plated beautifully. Then for dessert we had the CHOCOLATEMOUSSE. AGAIN, unlike ANY chocolate mousse I’ve ever had. It was unique and absolutely delicious. It is a MUST if you come here! The service here is beyond exceptional as well! Everything was served in a timely manner and our server checked in often. I literally love this place and I cannot wait to come back! Great food(I got the buratta as an app and the cavatelli for a meal), the service is excellent. Really pretty inside and great ambience, very nice wine selection. Tuesday and Wednesday nights sound like they’ll be fun — we will be coming back for sure!

My husband and I found this hidden gem while on vacation, need I tell you we’ll be coming here every time we’re in town! We met Billy and Giancarlo who graciously greeted us at the door, you can tell that the two make a great pair and their pride of their restaurant radiates through their smile. We started off with the Antipasto di Mare, we were so hungry I didn’t snap a pic, but the picture wouldn’t of even did it justice. So lightly seasoned, but seasoned perfectly that you could still enjoy the taste of the calamari, scallops, shrimp, and mussels. We then continued with some warm bread served with an artichoke spread… I nearly died upon first bite. We shared the Ravioli al Pesto with the gorgonzola sauce and pears and the Pollo con Polenta. I was left speechless, for the first time we didn’t talk during our meal! For the most sweet ending we got the tiramisu, which by the presentation in a wine glass we knew it would be amazing, and we yet again were not disappointed! For the first time in many years we not only ate with our mouths, but with our eyes as well. Each dish was a piece of art! Giancarlo’s love for his work really showed with every single dish. Thank you for sharing in our extra special date night vacation!

We ordered many different items fish, filet mignon, chicken, and pasta. All of them were great. The drinks weren’t amazing but the salads were good and the polenta appetizer was fabulous. Will definitely be back!

Love this place! My family and I went there for my rehearsal dinner(about 20 of us) — on a Wednesday night– we were given a private section, but not totally blocked off from the rest of the restaurant. The live music was great, the ambience/décor was so nice The staff were pleasant and accommodating ! We had a pre-fixed menu with GREAT options of different chicken dishes and pasta. the cavatelli in bolognese sauce was delicious I definitely recommend the chocolate mousse for dessert :)

A continuation of the mediocre places that have occupied this space. Service is awkward — food is uninspiring, plating is nice — but really nothing special or worth returning for. The couple at the table next to us had to send their dish back because the shrimp were raw. The appletini my wife ordered was undrinkable and the wait staff hovered and rushed us. I had the pappardelle — which was thick, overly sauced and certainly nowhere near homemade. I can’t understand how so many reviewers are so positive — as the whole experience was really just meh.

Another awesome meal. This place never disappoints. The polenta was creamy and cheesy. We shared the homade fettuccine with asparagus mouse and shrimp, and the roast veal chop with potatoes and broccolini. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the food is great.

This place is simply spectacular. The one of a kind recipes are all made fresh, with food combinations that will have your palette begging for more. Portions are generous and displayed ready to photograph on your favorite social media site. Don’t cheat yourself out of dessert my favorite is the panna cotta but they are all WORTHTHECALORIES!

Recently went with 4 friends, two who had been there before and praised it highly. None of us were disappointed! The ambiance was wonderful and the food was unexpectedly amazing, for a «local» place, or ANY place for that matter. My hubby and I went again yesterday on our own. The owner, Billy, greeted us like long lost friends. Our server, Lisa, was efficient and charming, and led a capable team of busboys and other servers. Again, the food was amazing! The most tender calamari we’ve ever had starred in a seafood salad appetizer generous enough for two. The asparagus risotto with jumbo crab-stuffed shrimp was delicious, and the cavatelli bolognese as good as the first time. Don’t miss this wonderful ristorante!

When we used to live in Roslyn, we would frequent a local French restaurant that was within walking distance. The food there was great, but the real draw was the amazing drinks by the super friendly bartender Rey. He always remembered what you were drinking, would frequently create new drinks that my wife would always love(I’m a scotch on the rocks guy) and according to my wife, he made the best damn cosmo she has ever had. Unfortunately, one day, Rey was gone, and a few months later we ended up moving — that was 2 years ago. A couple of weeks ago my phone rang and to my surprise it was Rey. He said he was working at a new Italian restaurant in Mineola and we should come check it out because the food is amazing. Honestly, it wouldn’t matter if the food was good, we were going so my wife could get her cosmo. Last night we had a chance to go. We walked in around 9, saw Rey at the bar and pulled up a stool. It felt like old times, we chatted briefly and he introduced us to one of the owners and manager Bill. Bill seems like a really nice guy and welcomed us to Cassariano. We ordered drinks and continued to catch up. A short time later we took a look at the menu and decided to order a shrimp, arugula and fresh tomato appetizer and we were going to split the gnocchi. The food came out quickly and they even split the gnocchi into two plates for us. After the first bite we knew we made a good decision. The food was fantastic, I only wish we ordered more of it. We will definitely be going back, and if you are in the neighborhood you should too. Just make sure to see Rey(I think he works Tuesday — Thursday) for an awesome drink at the bar before dinner.

Ok! If you haven’t gone here yet YOUNEEDTOASAP! Waterbury Martinis(watermelon jolly rancher meets vodka) incredible polenta appetizer, grilled sea bass with caramelized onion and portobellos. The place is beautifully decorated & service gets an «A– Plus». Don’t wait! Go ASAP!

This will be the place that survives for years to come in this spot that has turned over several times… Danny Boy was our waiter… very attentive and guided us well… food was very tasty and good portions… small wine list but excellent choices… great ambiance… bar is small but«effective»…good with kids… better for friends…

A friend of mine suggested I try Cassariano as it had just opened recently. What a pleasant surprise! I had the Gamberoni Con Prosciutto Cannellini. I love shrimp and these big boys were just what I liked. They were cooked to perfection. One of the owners(Billy), made sure our dinner was a great experience. Also got the Jumbo lump Crabmeat appetizer which was excellent. Our waitress Lisa was spot on and very friendly. I will be be back in the near future.

This restaurant only opened this past Wed on August 12th, but they are off to a great start. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was perfect! With regards to the food, it was fantastic! Perhaps one of the BEST pasta dishes I have ever had… and I know that may seem like a bold statement. There is finally a great Italian restaurant in Mineola.
