I was looking for a quick lunch without talking to a clowns face. I saw a sign«Quick Lunch $ 9.99» Perfecto. Little did I know I was going to get the best ravioli I have ever eaten and a long chat with the owner who reminded me about how life should be, Overnight success takes twenty years, and never quit no matter what. The $ 9.99 Quick Lunch was a full plate of delicate Duck Ravioli, I asked what was the best sauce, the waiter had offered Tomato or Meat sauce. The Owner happened by and said, tomato or butter and cheese. The way he said it I knew he meant the butter and cheese was the one. Wow! it came with fresh baked bread with herbs and Olive Oil and a generous side salad. I really wish I lived near this restaurant, I would become a regular!

Absolutely the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time. Everything is homemade, dish’s are made to order. Service was phenomenal, couldn’t ask for a more pleasant experience. All in all very good portions for a decent price. Absolutely worth every penny, will definitely be returning

The tiramisu is very good. The duck raviolis I had is okay, but a bit pricey.

Food was pretty good but a bit pricey. Could have used a little more flavor as well. Server was attentive and friendly though.

I was here a few months ago for a private event. Staff was friendly and the food was delicious. You cannot eat here without having the raviolis, any of them. They are homemade and fantastic.

First time dining here tonight for my 40th bday, with my mom and 2 other friends, they’ve all been many times, always great things to say! Food was really great. I had the chicken zingarella, my mom said I had no choice! It was amazing, baked clams app was fabulous, for dessert I got rainbow cookies and they were better then any bakery, the 3 others got banana, Nutella ravioli 1order for each that’s how good they are but I hate bananas so I missed out on that yumminess! Service was also really on point, I was just looking around at nothing in particular, and someone came right over to see if I needed something! I’m a server to me that’s what’s it extra special! Keep up great work all around!

The food is priced fairly for the quality of the food. The establishment is small but cozy and warming. We shared an order of the fried calamari and it was fresh and very enjoyable. A great way to get the palate and stomach ready for the delicious entrées. The chicken Zingarella is by far one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had the pleasure of having. The stuffed chicken breast and sauce just work. You will not be disappointed For dessert I finished off with a Nutty Irishman coffee. It is American coffee with Baileys and Frangelico. It went very well with the delicious homemade rainbow cookies. They are moist and dense, just the way they should be. All in all a great experience and a restaurant that isn’t going away anytime soon with food like that.

My fiancé and I went here last night on the recommendation of a friend. I tend to be critical of any dining experience(having spent 7 years in the restaurant business myself). Our experience at Piccolo’s left nothing to be desired. The ambiance and staff make you feel like family. The food is fresh and delicious and the service was fantastic. Only a few minutes into our meal we agreed, THIS is our new go to!

I enjoyed my dinner at Piccolo’s, but there were too many problems with my experience that I felt I couldn’t rate it higher. The place itself is charming, but due to the wooden floors, it was very noisy. Like cacophonous noisy. Luckily the two of us found a table near the entrance that wasn’t *so* noisy, but still, it was mighty irritating. Also irritating was having to wait for access to the *one* bathroom that this place has. C’mon. We finally settled in and got a basket of some fine bread products with butter and an oil and chopped parsley pesto. Very nice. I then put in a order for their famous Chicken Zingarella, and that’s when the problems began. OK, the dish was very tasty. But the supposed«pink sauce» mentioned on the menu was actually a sauce with a tiny bit of tomato sauce and a melted stick of butter. Really guys? Is this what passes for creativity? Do you not know or care that people can get sick from eating so much butter in one sitting? Do you not know that butter always overtakes the flavor of any sauce? Too bad I was not informed that the sauce was like this by my otherwise attentive server, because I would have stuck with something with marinara sauce instead, which happened to taste great in my side pasta. But they do do chicken very well here, so I would imagine that the chicken parm would be top-notch. This place makes ravioli from scratch and sells it to go, so I got some frozen porcini mushroom ravioli boxed up to go. That was nice. But what wasn’t nice was seeing the bill at the end of the night. There is expensive, and there is NY expensive. But this place was off the charts. $ 23 for a chicken dish and $ 27 for a veal dish in a noisy casual Italian restaurant? Believe it. Too bad the prices are astronomical, because it will probably prevent me from coming back any time soon. Next!

My favorite restaurant ever. I have been coming here since I was 8 years old with my father and sisters. This soon turned into the family favorite dinner spot. I have never been disappointed with a meal. The duck raviolis are perfect, as well as the veal zingarella.

Great Italian restaurant with a mouthwatering chicken parmesan as well as some delicious spaghetti. Service is kinda slow but they was friendly and did a nice job. The restaurant was beautiful and and clean wasn’t even food under the table which restaurants usually don’t clean. Can’t wait to revisit the food was just amazing.

Actually came here for a baptismal party. The salad was very good. They offered 2 different salads. Next came penne a la vodka which was delicious. Main course I chose the veal which was fantastic. Have to try now for lunch or dinner.

Ravioli as far as you can see and filled with just about anything you can imagine. I had the duck then tried the veggie. Both were great as is the cream sauce they’re served in. Service can be a bit stuffy but prices are reasonable and the food is great.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Nassau. Must trys: any of the raviolis. Old school small raviolis — the duck is awesome When they have it, the watermelon over ricotta salata cheese drizzled with honey is to die for! My personal favorite is the chicken here. They make an insane lightly breaded chicken cutlet dish that consists of the cutlets, arugula and spinach mixed with a warm lemony dressing(NOTSWEETSAUCELIKEMOSTPLACES) and they fold goat cheese in with this. The dressing is applied to the greens and goat cheese while it is warm and the greens wilt a little to a PERFECTNESS that is unmatchable. The goat melts just the right way, and the chicken is cooked fresh for each order. This is a treat on long island as a lot of places«cook off» or pre-cook their chicken cutlets before service and then reheat for dishes. NOTHERE — EVERYTHINGMADETOORDER! I was turned on to this place(and this chicken dish) by an old friend Wayne who lives in Garden City. I was VERY hesitant to order this as most places have dry chicken that disgusts me when they reheat it. He told me «Don’t worry, this place is the bomb» and he had to tell me this 6 times before I decided to take the plunge. I wish they would get a wine list and some awesome wines but they are happy with the normal bar wines and their prices are SOREASONABLE I could never complain about anything. The owner and his son(s) are really professional and make you feel at home without being overbearing. I did bring my girl there once, and she was wearing a pretty low cut dress(she looked incredibly hot that evening — hotter than usual I mean) and the waiters were staring down her shirt and being pretty obvious about it but I CAN’T BLAMETHEM she is a hottie!

I absolutely adored my experience at Piccolo’s. Go here for the ravioli and the wonderful waiters. My family made a reservation for a Wednesday night, but it wasn’t needed as there were just three seated groups and the rest of the place was empty. It wasn’t awkwardly empty, though. The vibe was homey, cute, and cozy. They brought out bread and this amazing dipping sauce that we all fell in love with, so much so that our waiter promised to give us a container of it to take home with us! He hooked it up! I ordered the artichoke and cheese ravioli(a special) and asked them to add spinach, which they did, brother ordered five cheese ravioli with shrimp on the side, dad ordered minestrone soup and arugula salad, and mom ordered linguine with tomato sauce. Everything was awesome; however, my mom wasn’t 100% happy with her dish as she said the sauce could have been better. Still, I loved my food and would return to try other ravioli dishes for sure. Icing on the cake was when the waiters brought out a slice of ice cream cake on the house for my birthday. How nice is that?! They really take care of you here, and the food was great. There’s also a bar with a TV by the way. Check out Piccolo’s for a family get-together, a date, or anything else low-key.

Nice quiet, quaint place. We found the place on Unilocal, and was a great choice. Had the handmade duck ravioli with pomodoro sauce for a quick lunch. It was fantastic, great flavor. Service was great, highly recommended.
