Great food, great restaurant, I living this area about 9 years I order all the time, great food at this area

I can’t stand this place but because my kids like their vegetable steamed dumplings and my wife likes their chicken and broccoli they keep ordering. My reasons for not liking it. First, my order is wrong 50 percent of the time. My kids only eat vegetable steam dumplings but they keep giving us pork. Then their general tso’s chicken is terrible. Every time I eat it is get sick and there isn’t much chicken in it.
So we used to call up and place the order but because of the mistakes we decided to use Beyond Menu thinking they can’t mess up a print-​out. WRONG! They still try to give us pork even though the on-​line order clearly reads vegetable.
Then the sometimes leave something out of the bag. So I started checking my orders there and of course I catch mistakes. Whether it be a short, wrong food or charged wrong. So I go to counter and tell them and they say ok we’ll make it for you if you want to wait. Of course I have to wait it’s usually what my kids want, those damn vegetable steamed dumplings. Otherwise they won’t eat. So I get home and of course even though I find a mistake while there sure enough my wife inevitably finds something I missed. Plus, the food is cold at this point. So now I have to drive back like I have to do 50 percent of the time and tell them. They go sorry we will make you another. So I wait again. NEVER do they offer a refund for my trouble at any point. Restaurants do, McDonalds does, along with most fast food places. They make mistakes after mistake and I waste gas driving back and forth. This place has no business being in business. I stopped eating there food about 6 months ago.
If I owned the place and my employees make a mistake I’d at least refund the dish and throw in something for the trouble. No. Not these people. All they want is your money. That’s it. They’re not in it for community relations. This is how I feel. I’ve never had this kind of problem anywhere but here. Because if you’re that bad you would think they should be out of business. I cant see this being me. I’ve seen places like this come and go yearly but not Wing Wong.
Give me the money and even though we consistently mess up your order and you have to drive here two times to get it fixed. We don’t care. It’s all about keeping your money for Wing Wong’s mistakes. Go figure.
My advise to my neighbors. Find a new place. Maybe if they don’t get our money they’ll be more carefull and shape up or ship out. I wish they had zero stars.

They have very fast delivery and their prices are fair. This is en excellent lunch time Restaraunt. Their fried rice is delicious and their won ton soup is the perfect size when you order the lunch special.

We just did a takeout order. WTF did I just eat? Oh my goodness! I ordered a lunch special General Tso’s chicken with PK FR. The rice had literally no pork and tasted like it was leftover steamed rice that they made into fried rice; Ever eat crispy rice before? Meh… The chicken was heavy bread little chicken, very chewy and super oily. The wonton soup was paltry at best. I do not recommend this place nor will be be going back. There are too many places to order from in the area.

Standard Chinese takeout. I thought some of the food was quite salty and I like salty food in general.
The general tso’s chicken was crunchy but the sauce was on really thick. The beef and broccoli was okay, more salty than a lot of the other dishes. The mango chicken was also quite saucy and a bit sweet.
The rice was actually not too bad (sometimes the white rice is crappy at these restaurants).
They also are cash only…

This used to be our favorite takeout place. It was always made fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, we have ordered from them a few times recently and the food has been so much worse. The sesame chicken was the best! It used to have white meat chicken and the sauce is delicious. Recently, the pieces are small, fatty and chewy and WAY overcooked. The fried rice tastes like they are using really old oil. The chicken and broccoli was really good as well, but recently the chicken was very chewy and the broccoli hardly cooked. I’m not sure if it’s under new ownership, or what, but we have to find a new Chinese delivery for lunch :(

Been ordering from wing Wong for about 15 years. Won’t go anywhere else — nothing compares! Always consistent and super quick delivery. Wing Wong for life!

The hot and sour soup was skimpy and below average. The house special fried rice was terrible – few ingredients and with no character at all.

This place is excellent for fresh and inexpensive chinese food. My favorite is the house special fried rice and chicken wings. Always hits the spot. This is my new go to chinese place!

Ordered take out based on a friends recommendation. I ordered the salt n pepper shrimp, wasn’t all that.

I ordered delivery and it came in a timely fashion.
The food was ok and its day it would have been better if while consuming it, I didn’t bite down on what I thought was a dried pepper or bay leaf. When I pulled the suspected food item out, it instead turned out to be a strand of industrial steel scrubbing wool. I searched the container and found a few more strands. It was the first and the last time I will order from them

Beef broccoli and wonton soup. Lunch special is Great. Always busy and really fast delivery.

Wing Wong is incredible. Everything I get here is delicious and reasonably priced. Service is great, delivery is fast and staff is friendly and easy to understand. Worth the trip for Mineola, Westbury, Carle Place residents and by far higher quality than other Chinese places in our area.

Solid and consistent Chinese comfort food — quite possibly the best in this area. Also, the delivery is super fast. So fast it’s spooky at times.
While I haven’t had a dish here I haven’t liked, nothing stands out as super-​awesome, «you have to get this» either — but pretty much all the standard dishes here tastes the way you’d expect them to, and it’s consistent.

Delicious and inexpensive take-​out.
Got beef with broccoli in garlic sauce. The sauce actually had flavor which was nice. I’d be back. Hits that «I want take out» fix. That I get a lot. Like three times a week a lot.

Rice was dry and chicken was not fresh! One of the worst restaurants in LI.

Wing Wong is pretty good chinese. I love their chicken and broccoli – chicken isn’t chewy like at some other places and they put lots of sauce on. My boyfriend isn’t crazy about their General Tso’s chicken. They always deliver quickly and my order is always right. The price isn’t too bad. A good pick for Chinese in Mineola.
