Had the Turkey Club on wheat and it was great! Bacon was crisp, bread was fresh, and the turkey was excellent.

Man this place was great! I was craving a burger all day and since i dont live in the cites, i wanted to go somewhere good and unique. Ordered the pain ol’ cheeseburger w onion rings. So glad i did! I will be honest, the onion rings were a three and a burger a five, but so many others have oddly raved about the great food and given this place three stars(weird, right) i will give them an extra one! Anyways, onion rings a little overdone. My boyfriend’s waffle fries were perfect. Some suggestions: cook onion rings less, have a pump of mustard and mayo, never stop using those buns and pickles they are insanely good. :)

Best burger and freshly made fries in town! And fast and friendly service. They also have many shakes to choose from.

An absolute home run of a Burger joint. Easily one of my top five Burger places in the twin cities the Burger was juicy and flavorful with some of the best pickles I’ve ever had and I love pickles so Ive tried my fair share of them I got chips with my Burger but next time I might try the fries the chips were good though crispy with just enough salt. Definitely a go to spot.

Best Costumer Service Fresh food, none of that frozen stuff. Burgers to die for I extremely recomend this place when wanting a «real» burger !

Place is absolutely clutch. When I want a burger this is the spot. The burger is enough to make a fat man weep. The half pounder is my go to slab of meat. They give you a good load of pickles to go with each bite of your burger and go with the far tastier red onions for their burgers. No need to pay for extras because the burger already comes with a good hunk of cheddar and some bacon. The fries are fresh and plentiful and almost overwhelming. Never been cheated by the portion size here.

AWESOME burger and fries. This was a great oasis to find while visiting a family member at Abbott Northwestern hospital. Fresh, hand cut fries and a delicious strawberry malt(made with actual strawberries). Fast and friendly service!

Cheeseburger and fries: sometimes I just need this. Cheeseburger would’ve been really good, but it was too salty. Didn’t mind that they were heavy-handed with the black pepper, but a little restraint on the salt please. I still devoured the things anyway and I appreciated that the tomatoes they used were nice and juicy, not dry and mealy. The fries were great: thick cut and here is where the generous salting is appropriate. Next time, I’m gonna skip the burger and get some fries and a malt. The prices are cheap, but you’re getting fresh ingredients: definitely worth checking out, but you might want to steer away from the burgers, tempting as they may seem, for another sandwich option.

While at Midtown, we walked past this place and in my never ending quest to find the best cheese curds, I had to stop and wreck a batch of there’s. These were some really solid curds. Very light batter, not the tempura kind, but, almost like a very light fried shrimp kind with the little crumby parts. Curds themselves were not bad. Good chew to them and a solid texture, well cooked throughout. Good level of salt from the cheese, and tried with two dips. Normal Heinz ketchup and a little ranch. Far better with ranch than ketchup, but no marinara or house red sauce to try them with. Were they mind blowing cheese curds? Nope. Were they state fair worthy(our true Minnesota gauge of curds)? Nope. Were they solid curds to satisfy me for a week? Yup. Leaves a lot to be desired for the regular food for the next time I’m in Midtown, that’s for sure.

Andy’s does breakfast. Not sure if everyone is aware of that. I opted for a classic, two eggs, potatoes, toast and breakfast meat(unfortunately they don’t have ham as an option). Eggs were done perfectly and the bacon was nicely crisp. Potatoes were of the diced variety with red and green bell pepper. Tobasco is available upon request. The portion size is large, so plan appropriately. Service was quick and efficient. If craving classic American diner eats, Andy’s can take care of you.

Andy’s Garage makes GREAT burgers at a reasonable price. If you’re in the mood for tasty burger give them a shot. Why the two stars then? Reason #1. French Fries. Even though the french fries are freshly cut and made fresh, they are soggy and not crispy. I don’t care for this style but you might. In Andy’s defense, I do like their freshly made potato chips that are included in the price of the burger. I also enjoy the pickle. :) Reason #2. Mac & Cheese: terrible. I know it may be for kids but I would not even serve it to my children. I don’t think it would be too tough to have some elbow macaroni on hand, boil the noodles, add butter, milk and some cheese to make a decent, fresh bowl of mac & cheese. The main reason I gave it two stars is because I I’m a whole package kind of guy. I need both a great burger and a great fry. I can go to Five Guys and get a burger that is close to Andy’s and get crispy fries that I find to be much better.

I have to admit, it feels strange ordering American food in the cultural oasis that is the Midtown Global Market, but Andy’s Garage is most definitely worth checking out. Andy’s menu is simple and classic: burgers, soups, sandwiches and all things potato. The burgers are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The massive portions of never frozen angus beef on fresh baked/toasted buns with great toppings really set them apart from other burgers. The homemade french fries and chips are made from potatoes which they cut and fry to order. The service is also top notch. Miguel is the very friendly manager who is always happy to provide great service. Andy’s Deluxe Burger is a monster ½lb burger with bacon and cheddar cheese that I suggest every carnivore try at least once.

While I like this place as they are one of the only places that are American foods in the Global Markup, I actually eat there extremely rarely. The burgers are good especially the diablo burger, but they are very greasy. I also like that they take a whole potato and cut it in front of you and fry them. The fries are golden brown and that is about it. The fries are ungodly greasy and soft. I have yet to try their home made potato chips, but I have had regular cheese burgers and they are also very greasy. I want to like them more, but they are expensive and have very greasy food. Maybe turn the heat up on the grease, or blanch the fries first. I usually just go to Holy Land for the fries there as they are much much better, but they are store bought.

You have to love a place where you order the fries, they take a whole potato, cut it, and fry it up right in front of you. You won’t be disappointed but also won’t be amazed. Other than the fries(and occasionally a malt) there isn’t anything spectacular about the menu(and even the fries aren’t exceptional). Not a lot of seating and the wait for food can be a bit long(in their defense they do cook to order).

I love the grilled chicken sandwich smothered in Andy’s sauce! Also love the oreo milkshake… yum. Absolutely love the food here even though I absolutely hate the location! Wish they had never moved from University Ave… –1 star for that.

This place has really, really good burgers. Everything about them from the bun to the lettuce is perfect. Andy’s also makes its own fries and chips fresh, which is pretty great. Andy’s also has kids meals that come in classic cars made of paper, which kids LOVE. My two-year-old nephew especially enjoyed his corn dog that came in a car, remarking«hey, that corn dog driving that car!».

An amazing place to eat nestled inside the Midtown Global market!!! I got the Diablo burger and it was awesome!!! The staff was fun and friendly, the only problem was that they were out of ketchup but that was hardly a problem with the deliciousness of the food, I love a good burger, and this place is definitely one I“m going back to next time I’m near the Global Market!!!

Nice to meet you, Andy. You are comfort-food-central. I’ll take that mushroom swiss burger with some fried onions please. Oh, and don’t forget the sweet potato fries. But can you not be as busy at noon as you were today? I waited ten or so minutes in line to order, and then another seven or so for my food. I will be back to see if you’ve improved — TRUST me on that one!

ok, ok… I have to admit I was in need of some major comfort food after my dad being in surgery recovery for 3 days. I had already hit up most of the other eateries. Andy’s delivered what I needed. BAKEDPOTATOES. Bring it. When I’m in a mood, I need carbs. And cheese. I got a big baked potato with broccoli and cheese and it was awesome for lunch. The only thing I would change is the ability to put the butter and sour cream on my potato before the cheddar and broccoli are on, but I am very particular about eating baked potatoes. It’s always a ritual for me. Very nice Andy’s.
