Bahu

Whenever my wife is able to travel with me on my biz trips, she loves to go to Minneapolis more than any other city to shop. Bahu is certainly 1 of her favorites, easy access, good selection, excellent sales staff, great value.

Is this place still open? It shouldn’t be… I stopped by here for the first and last time last summer. The impression stuck with me though: weird, junky atmosphere and boring, stretchy, polyester clothes. Is it a front for something?

I travel to Minneapolis now and again. And I always stop off here to check out the clothes and jewelry. I always find something and I love the pieces I find and I ALWAYS get compliments on my purchases. Great style and prices.

I’ve walked past Bahu a number of times when they weren’t open, but I saw a jacket in their window that made me more determined to actually get there during their business hours. Today, I finally did.
Bahu is a small boutique, primarily women’s clothing; there are some accessories available and a small selection of men’s clothing. The selection isn’t vast, but the styles span from fashion-​forward office wear to items more appropriate for nightlife. Prices are pretty much what one should expect in a locally-​owned, stylish boutique.
The clerk greeted us immediately upon walking in the door, let us know that we could go ahead and try on whatever we liked, and even directed my husband towards the men’s clothing. She pointed out a few of their newer items, but for the most part, let me do my own browsing without interference. It was very laid-​back and mellow.
I was happy to come home with a couple of new items that make me squeal just thinking about wearing them (including that jacket). I’ll most definitely be back.
