Cost Cutters

I have been waiting 19 minutes not even checked in yet 2 women getting hair washed…1 on the phone with speaker full blast… cant hear music? I am at cost cutters on 26^th near old rainbow. No one has even said be right with you. One woman that just got hair done… now just helped herself to a blow dryer… wtf…this place is a joke…

I have been going to this Cost Cutters, off and on, for four years. Sometimes I think, «I’ll be adventurous and try someplace new.» Then I do and remember why I keep coming back to this place: Damn good haircuts at an amazing price. I usually go to Carrie. He’s professionally trained, but prefers the atmosphere of Cost Cutters to a high-​end salon. In fact, several stylists are professionally trained and have the same mentality.
This past visit, I decided to really change up my style (and go for a shaggy bob, dyed reddish brown with some ombré coloring). I showed Carrie a photograph I found, he made some suggestions for modifying the look to fit my face and hair-​type, then he proceeded to give me the best cut and color of my life. He also walked me through several different ways to style it at home. Love my new hair and it’s high time I gave this place the 5-​star review it deserves.
Side Note: I’ve never had a problem with poor customer service (like some of the negative reviews say), but I have noticed that the stylists seem stretched too thin sometimes. But, that’s what happens when business ebbs and flows. There will be busy streaks and slow streaks. This does NOT in itself warrant a negative review.

I was happy that they accept walk ins. I got a haircut from Reinier. The haircut was a bit shorter than I wanted it to be, but I thought it was okay as it would naturally grow back. However, when my hair grew back, it did not look good at all. I was looking for a hair salon that knows how to give a haircut for a woman with short hairs and still keep it nice and feminine; this salon was not the one. Maybe I will get luckier next time…

Slow, expensive and their idea of a loyalty coupon is $ 1 off. Really? No thanks.

Dear Adam,
Learn something about customer service skill, when they want rinse a hair just do it, and don’t ask ppl do I want become your regular costumer!!! Rather cut the hair good and ppl will go back to you!!!

I hate to say it, but the rule of thumb is that the female barbers here give five-​star cuts and the males give 0 – 2 star cuts. Jennifer is great, but Britanny is my favorite.
All in all friendly, professional, and fast. There are also regular coupons in the mail for discounts if you live in the area.

Got a haircut here from Brittany, and she did an AWESOME job! It’s really hard to find a good men’s haircut in Northeast, and this one was superb.

I agree with the other reviewer. Jennifer is so friendly and gives a precise mens cut without the frill! I only wish they offered men’s shaves! Park legally in the lunds ramp!
