This dentist sounds like a lovely and caring man. I hope you never go the route of Dr. Palmer and that his patients defect to your office since it seems you are the total opposite of that heathen.

So far I’m really enjoying Demaine’s dentist office. They ‘cater to cowards’ and they don’t lecture you about your dental negligence. Demaine is very informative, gets the job done efficiently and uses innovative techniques that take some of his procedures to new levels. I had a cleaning and a filling replaced and it all went more smoothly than I could have imagined. It was a relief to have a dentist nearby who took care of this for me without a problem. Support your local dentist.

I LOVE Dr. Demaine! He is laid back and fun to see but knows his stuff too. He must be an amateur photographer because when I get reminder cards they are always on the back of a photograph postcard with his credit on the photo.
The visits don’t take long, usually it’s about half an hour or so for the check up and there’s no endless berating about flossing or here’s what’s wrong with your teeth. He tells you what you need to do to keep your mouth healthy and sends you on your way.
The office is really cute — an old art deco styled building in Nokomis and the receptionist is always really nice too.

Know this! I AM NOT a fan of the dentist! Ever since a wicked root canal that went very wrong I have had nightmare’s of dentists coming after me with hooks and crazy shaped tools.
Dr. Demaine does not use these tools. My appointment was at 7:30pm (yes, that’s right…7:30pm! Open until 8pm most days-​Great hours for those of us that have jobs!) We went over my history, he told me a humorous story, and then hit my teeth up with the supersonic tool, and then a sandblaster cleaning, and DONE! Seriously 15 minutes (including the humerous story).
No Bleeding, no pain, no eulogies about what you’re doing wrong, just instruction on what to do right! Don’t know about billing… But, this is great! I’ll be back and looking forward to my next visit to the Dentist!
