Recently moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a convenient repair shop. Four Star Auto is a good shop that I recommend to others.
Haven’t had big repairs done but for the maintenance work and new tires they’ve been great.

I used to drive a 94 Ford Escort with everything falling off it and the guys at this place were super straightforward with me about what repairs I needed and what I could do myself or for cheaper. Nice guys, very friendly, never pushy, and affordable.

I took my car there to have a smell investigated. They ran a diagnostic and told me my clutch needed to be repaired. I took it for a second opinion and they confirmed that the burning smell was the clutch but said that it did not need repairing. I also found their price $ 1100 to replace the clutch & a new flywheel (they didn’t even offer resurfacing) too high. I would recommend getting a 2^nd opinion if you need any repairs.

I’ve been taking my car to Four Star for over a year now and have always been pleased with the service. They always try to make things convenient for you and when I have compared their prices with other garages, they always seem to have the best deals. They also send out monthly coupons if you get on their mailing list which I have used more than once.
I appreciate that when they notice an issue and potentially expensive repair, they always give you honest expectations as far as price and how urgent the repair is– giving you time to save up for those more expensive repairs. I definitely recommend this garage! It will only become more convenient when the CCRT is done and you can drop your car off there and take the light rail to work!

I searched all over just to find a reputable place to get a simple oil change. Many of the places had bad reviews, so I went to Four Star today just to get an oil change, and I received great service. It was a little slow because apparently Millie wasn’t there to keep things moving along and phones answered, but the service was great, price was perfect, and they were friendly people. I will definitely go back here.
