This is my «go-to» place. If you have any food intolerances OR love animals OR love all food no matter where it’s from come here. Top 3 dishes(no order) : 1. Zen salad 2. Spa salad 3. Healing plate Not 5 stars because I’m not a fan of their vegan cheese(Daiya brand)…makes the food taste fake. You guys should consider using the Herbivorous Butcher for such cheeses. Nonethefreakingless, everyone should go get their Mead on. Oui Oui.

One of a few French Meadow locations in the MSP airport, this location by concourse E is particularly nice. It has a very expansive dining area with a pretty sizable bar. Such good options for breakfast in particular and LOVELOVELOVE any and every pastry available. Pastries are actually self-serve too so it’s very fast to just grab, pay at the registers, and be on your way to your flight!

this had the potential to be so much better. I asked for a martini. specified that it should should be icy cold. it was not. ordered the chicken flatbread pizza with fontina cheese, the easiest cheese in the world to melt, but it arrived cold, with the cheese still shredded on top. I know this is an airport, but really! A little more attention would have made this 4 stars.

The grilled Rachel and salad were great but service and set up are horrible. They do not have ticket numbers and do not take names so when 4 people in a row ordered the Grilled Rachel and the last one to order was the first one to pick up his order — it happened and pissed everyone off in front of him. This place has been here a long time. They seriously should have a system in place to prevent that from happening.

Airport food is horribly priced and prepared. Every time I am in an airport and hungry, I end up buying food I regret. At least this place is not a horrendous regret. Expect your typical café fare… And if you’d like vegan chili over brown rice, you will be happy here with a belly full of it for a decent price for airport food. It’s not the tastiest, but it is a better choice than many other vendors here. They also have bottled kombucha, green tea and sparkling fruit sodas. They have juice, too, and of course, water. They entice you with the baked goods, but really, they don’t look that good– just quick and easy If you expect airport café quality food, you’ll be all set. If you are in a rush, order to go. If you are in kind of a rush, order to go and eat some in the ample seating area. If you are not in a rush, be seated by a live person and sit down, order and wait for service of the food. Many options… So it’s nice. There are also pre-made sandwiches and salads, as well as fruit for purchase.

The only thing that’s good about this place is the bakery!!! I had the Rocky Road bar! It was delicious!!! I wished I can find the exact dessert somewhere else! :-(We ordered the Wild Rice Soup in a bowl, which was filling by itself for lunch. However, the soup had a top layer of oil… left a BAD stomach for couple hours! The tables were dirty and food spills. Tables didn’t look like it’s been cleaned the entire day!

Firstly, I LOVE French Meadow on Lyndale. We go there at least once whenever we visit our families in Minnesoooooota. Just LOVE it. So we tried this location at the airport on our last trip. Sorry, but it was pretty gross. Which bums me out because we were really looking forward to having the same experience. I ordered the Bruschetta(no cheese, since I’m vegan) and it came FREEZING cold. Now, I’m Italian and I’ve had Bruschetta before multiple times in my life. I prefer it warm, but even room temperature would have been nice. But they obviously pre-chopped the tomatoes and put them in the fridge and then just dumped them on top of cold toast. When I wanted to send it back, the waitress actually put up a fight insisting that Bruschetta isn’t supposed to be warm because it uses FRESH tomatoes. And it would have been warm but since I didn’t order the cheese that changed the entire dish. WTF? If it was indeed FRESH tomatoes, they wouldn’t have been cold, m’kay?! And why can’t they pop the entire thing under the broiler without the cheese? Her argument makes no sense. I sent it back and got the potatoes instead. What can I say, they were potatoes made with shitzloads of what appeared to be paprika. I chowed on them because I was starving and needed to soak up my just-okay lemon drop martini pronto! Hubby got the vegan arepas but they were made with cilantro. Nowhere on the menu does it say there is cilantro in this dish. If you’re a cilantro hater like we are, you know how much this can COMPLETELY ruin your meal! If you can taste cilantro in a dish, the cook is using too much. Again, I LOOOOOOVE French Meadow on Lyndale. This location in the airport blows!

Pretty solid for vegan food in an airport. Definitely check it out if you have at least 45 minutes to an hour to kill before boarding. We had the vegan arepas and the vegan chili and brown rice. They both hit the spot. We got there about 20 minutes too late for breakfast, so we were bummed we missed the vegan blueberry pancakes. We are up here a lot so I am hoping to try them sometime soon!

If you are lucky enough to wind up in an airport that is a home to French Meadow Bakery, you should definitely take a minute to enjoy the remarkable food! Made with fresh organic ingredients, the offerings at this spot are the best I have ever had at any airport… ever. Even my cold(could be ordered hot) turkey sandwich was anything but ordinary. The bread was fresh, the meat was rich with flavor, the cheese was cool and creamy, and the veggies were fresh and crisp. I would be a much more willing volunteer to drive people to the airport if I could look forward to this café.

I don’t know if French Meadow or Panera came first, but one has definitely taken a page from the other. The artistic flow of this place screams, we are local and serve healthy, organic, home-baked stuff! While that’s probably true in some cases, it’s not the case in others. Soups, for example, always loaded with salt, but I did see they offer chili, chicken soup and a couple other choices. Painted in earth colors with basket like textures interwoven between, their display begins with a number of self-serve pastry bins followed by a case of pre-made ready to grill sandwiches to the left, some pre-packed cold sandwiches or salads next to that and the aforementioned soup tureens after that. In the back you can choose from a chalkboard of fresh made lunch or breakfast options. Flatbreads, sandwiches, breakfast plates like breakfast burrito, breakfast quesadilla, standard egg & potato, but I chose the Omelet of the Day though there was no signage indicating what the filling du jour actually was. It was 5 in the AM, why not gamble? I wasn’t really awake anyway. The dishes are expensive at $ 11 or more. If you opt to eat in at one of their plentiful booths or tables, they hand you a sign with a letter on it and ask you to seat yourself. Like others mentioned here, they are specifically a little slow with the Omelet but I saw other passengers who ordered just the egg plate that came out right away. It depends on what you order. The people next to me had the same experience, wondering if they were supposed to go get it or not when the wait became longer than a few minutes and, as it turned out, again, omelet. Service is quite friendly though, a pretty consistent MN experience. They portion out a generous amount of shredded hash browns which were lukewarm and may have had more flavor if I felt inclined to dump salt on them(didn’t), the toast was burned on one side and a generous pool of butter coated the other side. It’s good bread but nothing game-changing. The omelet itself consisted of very firm eggs surrounded a filling of diced chicken breast, Gorgonzola cheese, caramelized onions and walnuts. Rather awkward combination to find in an omelet(according to my taste, of course) and I left half the plate untouched when the cheese started to overwhelm the taste of anything else. If I gave this place a chance again, I’d start with the flatbread the next time, but I didn’t feel like arguing with anyone at the insistence of pizza at the crack of dawn. A questionable A and a solid OK. If you’ve visited a Flying Elephants Deli here in the PNW(which for some reason sprang to mind when I ate here this morning), you know they could do better.

Is it possible to find healthy, fresh-tasting food while trapped in an airport? Yes! Caesar salad with grilled chicken and an excellent flourless, chocolate brownie. Yum! The super-friendly staff were great, too.

I would suggest finding another place to eat. The people here seem to have trouble understanding English and get frustrated that you have to keep saying the same thing over again, because of their lack of understanding. My order was as simple as it gets: Two scrambled eggs on a croissant. Instead they made and charged me for the scramble special which is $ 10.72, comes with Hash Browns, tomatoes, spinach etc. When I pointed out the error, the cashier angrily told me it’s still going to be $ 10.72. Unreal.

Kinda pricey, but too be expected at an airport. I had a cranberry, blue cheese, walnut salad, a organic apple and a large Fiji water. $ 19 bucks. The salad was pretty good, I would definitely eat it again. There was a large line, but it moved pretty quick. They had sandwich options, and breakfast burritos, and other bfast stuff, but didn’t have time to explore. Salad was grab and go, and they had other types as well. In terms of airport food, its a pretty good option.

I had a 2 hour layover at MSP and I wanted healthy, vegetarian food(which is so hard to find). I ordered the beet and pear salad with walnuts. It was so good that it is the best«airport» food that I’ve eaten. It was a big salad with lots of walnuts, beets, and pear pieces(all large enough that I had to cut them up into 3 – 4 pieces). The piece of bread served on top was crusty and chewy(a good thing) but not a lot of flavor. The service was good too. I would add a photo of the salad but I don’t see that option here.

The first thing you notice is the intoxicating butter aroma! Pretty nice place with all sorts of sandwiches, salads. beverages and bakery items. Across from gate F4. For my breakfast today, I grabbed a cheddar chive biscuit for $ 2. 79 and it was excellent. Only downer was the disinterested and borderline surly cashier. C’Mon would ya smile?

This is the second time I’ve hit up French Meadow at MSP, which is at the head of all the«F» gates… this boring, unpleasant airport has a little light… Blueberry scone… so great when fresh(not at 1500, when purchased).

This place is very good, and exceeds expectations for an airport restaurant. I had the curried chicken salad croissant sandwich with greens. The baked goods were in good shape and the vegetables were fresh. The salad had just the right amount of dressing and it did not overwhelm the flavor of the greens. Location is convenient and tables are a nice distance apart for getting around and private conversation. Restrooms are close by and the lighting is airy and bright.
