I was so disappointed with this pizza. I lead food tours, so I am very familiar with different cooking styles, which is why I picked this restaurant. Unfortunately I watched the cook put my pizza in the 720 degree oven and never move it once until she removed it. Needless to say it was extremely burnt in certain spots… extremely burnt, all I tasted was burnt. When asked if they could redo it, they said that is they way the oven cooks it. I ordered a panini(received no price adjustment) and went to my flight. So disappointed.

Vero is the restaurant of the future! Order by iPad, pay by credit card machine at your table. Very little human interaction. Except when you would like a glass of water and the d-bag bartender was not good with human interaction. The pizza oven in plain sight with the chef hand crafting each pie was cool to watch, but a pain to listen to… he hates his job and loves venting. The pizza(spinach, tomato, motz) was delicious and the wine was top notch. I could also view my flight status on the iPad in front of me letting me know if I could indulge in another round. Caution: credit card only!

The cauliflower was disappointing. It lacked flavor and wasn’t served very hot. Not that I was expecting much. Should have ordered a pizza.

Whenever I’m stuck in the Minneapolis St. Paul airport nowadays if I’m anywhere near the gate at which this restaurant is located and I have the time, I’m 100% certain to stop here for a meal. I love how you can keep up with your flight information via iPad at your seat, pay via iPad station, and also have good service too! The thin crust margherita pizza is my favourite here and I adore the roasted cauliflower. Depending on how hungry I am I will have one or both of those dishes! There is ample seating and the service is fast. They will also bring you complimentary water which is nice. The only bizarre thing is the silver coloured plastic knife(combined with the metal fork) but that makes sense given that one is in an airport! This is literally one of my favourite airport gems. And you can charge your electronic devices here too.

New Yorker pizza was really good. Service was incredibly unprofessional, I sat at the bar. I have never written a review before this, but the level of unprofessionalism(that may not be a word) was astounding. The bar tender was pissed about something and was fighting with other staff. He was arguing with the manager about why no one has gotten a break and harassing one of the cooks for moving back and forth behind the bar too much. All of this might have been legit, but discuss it outside of my eyes. Maybe this is a one time thing I was at the location near G15. I sat at the bar… didn’t get napkins, didn’t get checked in on… I get that this is an airport bar/restaurant, but come on. Have some pride in what you do.

Had early morning breakfast here. I’m horribly dissatisfied that the uncooked sausage I sent back to the kitchen(cut apart) came back to me looking in the same condition. I can only imagine that it was microwaved and sent back out. Don’t expect for your server to actually check on you. Be prepared to click on and iPad«Call for Assistance» just simply to have a glass of water refilled. Pretty subpar performance in my opinion. I will not be leaving a gratuity next time until after I’ve received a service.

Pretty decent margherita. Needed some more sauce but otherwise great. If u like margherita you shouldn’t be disappointed. It’s not spectacular tho. Ask for some extra basil, extra sauce, and olive oil and you’ll be happy.

They guarantee service within 15 minutes. However our food order(spinach artichoke dip) took over 20 minutes and we never received it. We asked for it to-go, due to the timing of our flight. We ended up leaving our food order there. Never received it, never received an apology, or a credit on our card. Will NOT return there. Also, the restaurant was NOT busy. Very disappointed.

Help. We had great service and food tonight on our layover. I wish I got our waiters name because I think we dropped keys and headphones. 9⁄27. Please text me 224−563−8276.

Very fun and laid back place to have dinner and drinks at an airport. The at-table in-house iPads are fun and easy to use to order food and drinks or browse the web. Pizza was delish!

Pizza crust was very nice. I found the margherita to be a little too heavy on cheese and the sauce was more peppered than a traditional version. I imagine some of the other pizza choices would come out better. The whole tablet ordering/entertainment thing seemed gimicky and in the end it didn’t work very well: when ordering the card swipe took about 8 tries, and then as I was browsing the Internet the screen timed out every minute or two, requiring a complete restart from the home page to get back to whatever page I was reading. After doing that about 4 times I just gave up.

Very pleasantly surprised. Very good pizza, fresh, thin, crispy, cooked in a gas fired brick oven in 10 minutes. Some of the e better food I’ve had in any airport. Try the New Yorker.

I don’t understand how other Unilocalers have rated this place so high!!! A double black on the rocks was $ 16 and was half a glass!!! I was born and raised in NY and live in LA so I am used to high drink prices but seriously over priced!!!

Fantastic find at the airport. Bartender/waiter was friendly. Nice Ipads to order from and play on. Had a fantastic panini and roasted cauliflower. Totally recommend!

I never thought I would give five stars to an airport restaurant, but here it is. I got delayed going through MSP recently for a couple of hours, and while normally I’d find this to be pretty mopey, I hadn’t eaten since breakfast so a couple of hours to randomly grub was exciting, even if it was just airport fare. Consider me shocked to find this rather upscale Italian-esque restaurant literally right outside my gate. The ordering experience was great, I loved that the iPads listed ingredients and also had a pic of what I was ordering, and paying at the table with gratuity pre-dialed in was nice(I’m sure you can leave a cash tip separately if you wanted to as well). The waitress was also very helpful and went back to the kitchen with a few questions for me. I ended up choosing the(espresso over ice cream) and also the meatball appetizer later on. The bitterness of the espresso matched very well with the wonderful vanilla ice cream, and it was just the right amount of sweetness. The meatballs were a combo of three meats(I think it was beef, pork, and veal?) and had great seasoning and flavor. I avoided the crostini bread for dietary reasons though. This makes me want to start flying Delta again so I can connect in MSP more often, and that’s saying something. It’s definitely pricier than the average airport fare but it was worth it.

I do a lot of flying for my job and Vero was a fantastic stop. I took a seat at the bar, ordered what I wanted from the complimentary Ipad at the table and within minutes my beer arrived. The food was good, there were free chargning stations, flight updates on the Ipad and you pay when you’re ready via Ipad. FANTASTIC. All airport bars/eateries should do this.

Put this in your rotation if you fly out of or connect at MSP. I’m a huge fan of Surdyk’s but if you’re at G Gates, this is a great call. First, order your food using the iPads at the bar. For the business traveler on the run, it’s perfect since you can order your meal and pay in about 60 seconds. The salad and meatball/crostini dishes were excellent by airport food standards. The food came out in about 10 minutes and I the whole experience took about 17 minutes. 45 minute connection with real food — awesome!
