We stayed here for a weekend(3 nights). This place was clean, efficient, and easy enough to find. They also had complimentary WI-FI!!! :D But beware the crazy construction on American Blvd on the way to this place as well as on France! The room was spacious but the two beds are full sized not queen. The bathroom was teeny but the products(shampoo, conditioner, face soap, body soap, lotion, mouthwash-yay!) were good quality although not great. Their towels weren’t harshly dry and rough and they didn’t reek of bleach! Surprisingly good quality for the price we paid. We were a little weirded out by the shared balcony because if you were standing out there and our curtains were open you would be able to see into our room. The lock of the balcony door looked a little skeptical and the fence separating the balcony space was a little thin wire fence about hip height so you could see over/thru the fence. Needless to say we kept the curtains closed and door locked the entire time of our stay.(Speaking of the curtains– these blackout curtains are serious!!! We slept in til noon without even realizing it because it was so dark in our room.) The first morning we could hear our neighbors outside on the balcony at verrry early in the morning. Although we could not hear them once they were in their room. The rest of the weekend, until Monday morning, was uneventful and went by smoothly. On Monday morning, at about 6am you could hear an extremely loud vibrating and buzzing noise coming from outside. It was very uncomfortable and hard to sleep after that. We could not determine if it was the street construction around us or if it was the garbage truck… it was just really loud and annoying. The hotel had a nice little free continental breakfast buffet: bagels, toast, assorted donuts, sausages, eggs, cereal, waffles, yogurt + fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. It wasn’t gourmet but good enough. Did I mention free? :p I wouldn’t mind staying here again but maybe not until the neighboring construction is gone and done with!
