Lily and Violet is a great place to find a unique gift for any occasion. I’m always able to pop in and find the perfect thing I’m looking for. They have a vast selection of clothes, jewelry, candles, and goods from local artisans. The second floor of the shop which houses mostly home goods is my favorite and they always have new items every time I stop in. The staff is extremely friendly, always energetic and helpful.

Really cute shop. I’ve shopped on their online site for a while but just visited the store recently and was really impressed. They just added a ship-to-store option which I love! I can order something online and pick it up in store right away instead of waiting for it to ship.

Lily + Violet has been my to-go boutique for basics as well as seasonal trendier pieces for the past couple years. The sales team is so friendly and I love that I can shop online as well! They do a fabulous job curating a lovely selection of clothing… and their Linden Hills store is DARLING!

Lily & Violet moved in where Rick Rack was in Linden Hills. It was formerly an online clothier and from what I understand, they merged together and re-branded. It’s in an old house, with cool painted wooden floors upstairs. It kind of reminded me of Cottage House on Chicago Ave. That’s not a bad thing at all, but for some reason, this totally surprised me because I was expecting it to be more modern(just from the website impression). Anyway, downstairs is clothes and upstairs is candles, soaps, flowery things, etc. It’s a good place for lady clothes and lady accessories and lady gifts. Some of the merchandise is seemingly geared toward a fashionable mature woman. Still, there were a lot of things I liked as well, the brightest spots being the jewelry, a wide selection of professionally appropriate dresses and a sheer flowery silk robe that was 50% off(I almost accidentally stole from another customer who was about to try it on). They also had a sale rack on the porch, but it was too blustery on Saturday to look through it without getting tornadoed away. The prices are moderate to high, but typical for the style and taste-level of the shop. And the shopkeepers were friendly too. Well done.
