Came here early November and the place was a madhouse. Clothes every, manicans missing parts, children crying and screaming. But there were some really good sales! And when I needed help findng something, the staff was very friendly and accommodating despite the madness. This is a huge location, so if you are looking for something in particular you can probably find it here.

What the hell happened to Old Navy? I used to go in there to get cute button down shirts, perfectly-fitted cardigans and comfy pants. Then the low-waisted trend happened and, suddenly, I can’t wear any of the pants because doing so would mean flashing my crack EVEN when I was standing up. Old Navy might be the last clothing store to get off of that low waisted train and it looks like they are going to ride it until it crashes into a building and is engulfed in flames. There are a lot of awful color combinations, cheap fabrics, drawstring waists(on tops of all things!) and frilly tank tops. I thank god I’m not a man because the men’s clothing is some kind of frat guy/old man golfer/mall punk combination and I laugh out loud at the section when I look at it. The prices have also gotten silly. Forty dollars for a pair of pants that are of questionable origin and quality? No thanks. I bought some jeans there recently and they’re pretty comfortable, so I guess there may still be hope. The clearance racks usually have some pretty sweet deals, too. Stay away from the one on France Avenue in Edina, though, unless you want to waste some time and gas money. Even though it’s really close to where I live I don’t bother going anymore because I walk in, look around for two minutes and then walk right out. That wouldn’t be so bad if I wasn’t always the only one in the store besides the employees. I think I have finally admitted defeat and will only shop at the Gap from now on. Sure, it’s only the clearance racks, but at least I’m not going to find six billion tank tops with plunging necklines and drawstring waists. Who wears that crap anyway?

Somewhat cluttered in the mark down section, but what store wasn’t the day after Christmas. I walked right into a dressing room without waiting. I was helped in a respectable amount of time at check out. I bought a sweater and two shirts for under $ 20. Pretty much a good time at Old Navy.
